This week I had to fight against a rapidly dropping pH value. Starting at 5.8 on Monday, it soon dropped to 5.4 on Thursday. Yes, I calibrated my pH meter and that's when I added some baking soda. That stuff works really well for my with regards to raising the pH value. Two teaspoon handles and it shot back to 6.2. I thinned my additional nutrient solution with the half volume of RO water to keep the EC down. 1.8 seems to be too much for this beauty but around 1.7 looks spot on.

Cali crasher is growing well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. She got neem oil sprayed this week when the next grow space got infected with russet mites. So I treated everything not flowering to be safe. She didn't get training after the spraying. It was stressful enough as the leaves are showing. She did get a fresh solution change for first time. I Should see a lot of new growth comming in the next few weeks. Everything is about as good as expected. Giorno 1 bene le ragazze si sono riprese bene dal trapianto e stanno sviluppando bene le radici e iniziano a bere più acqua. Giorno 2 LST e verrà già pulita con una leggera defogliazione e più che altro lollipopping( solamente 1 nodo in meno per ogni ramo e 2 nei più sviluppati) perché è già più grande della compagna e ha i rami troppo cespugliosi che rovinano il flusso di aria e il loro corretto sviluppo. 4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

While I was very happy with the grow at harvest time, I am a bit disappointed with only 190 grams total dry weight from these two plants. The buds are nice, dense and packed with tricomes, the smoke is smooth and the high is clear.

Premise was to see how "optimal" i can get my first ever Grow. After some Research i came up with the idea to build an Aeroponic System myself using Water Buckets and Venturi Injektors to provider proper aeration. Sadly Seedlings had to wait in EazyCubes cause some parts and Nutrients didnt arrive on time. System was fully operationable on Day 16. Atami Nutrients are inside the System since Day 24, Calmag has been added Day 28. Before that, some Tri-part Nutrient. Planning on switching to Plagron in the Long run, as well as adding Co2, a water chiller and a ~700W LED. Stats: - 5 30L Buckets, 4 Plants and 1 Reservoir - Recirculation happens through 90mm PVC pipes - 16000 l/h pump going through 4x 1" Venturi Injektors pulling around 700 liters of Air per hour - 1mx1mx2m Growtent - 250W The Jackson Nemesis LED Happy about any Questions and Suggestions!

The plants have been drinking up water rapidly with the increased heat, I have stopped using individual gallons and now started using a hose in order to speed up the process. They seem to take about 2-3 gallons each while the larger plant I have been trying to water until I see small amounts trickling out near the bottom. Will give them a second round of organic granular feeding soon! I also started to notice this week that there are a good amount of small black flies above soil. I will have to take care of this sooner than later

Seeing some tips beginning to burn so I went back down to 1 tsp of the girl's base nutes. Starting to see calyxs and pistils. Also alternate branching is appearing, also signalling that flowering has commenced.

These are the last pics I have from the grow. There are 3 more from the police press release but I won't upload them here. To sum up, 5x Big Bang on DWC(4 inside the 1.5x1.5, 1 inside the 0.6x0.6) 1x Gorilla Glue on DWC 1x Green Crack on DWC 4x Big Bang on soil 1x Green Crack on soil. Out of 10 Big Bang seeds the 9 sprouted. (90% Rate) 3 Green Crack Seeds, the 2 sprouted 2 Gorilla Glue seeds, 1 sprouted. total harvest is 113+72=185g from 2 Big Bang plants on DWC. The rest were never harvested. I have to take note on the fact Big Bang could manage to carry its weight. Green Crack and Gorilla Glue had to be tied up cause they just couldn't manage it!. Good job on that GreenHouse Seeds. The life lessons learned from this experience. #1 : Do not bite off more than you can chew (or less is more) #2: Do not trust anyone. #3: Mother Nature gave us cannabis in rather low-THC content and sun for growing it. All the current strains and techniques of growing indoors are a product of human greed wanting more and more and more...I don't want to support this anymore, I'd rather stick to a few landrace seeds picked up from some old stoners and growing guerilla instead. Many might disagree with me on that, but come on guys, who can go against nature if not The One who gave it to us?
