Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each (nutrients see table above) Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. Chopped on day 133 - trichomes look swollen and ready - leaves faded out. Cut this according to the biodynamic moon gardening calendar and the dates did seem to align with the plant aromatics being more noticeable. Very excited to do the smoke report on this one - focusing on 60% humidity @ 60 degrees for 21 days to retain terpenes and quality.

This weeks pictures are of the Blue Glue. So I had the two growing in one oot and one turned male very soon so I got rid of it instead of collecting pollen. I will never do that again. It turns out the blue glue male and female had a mutation that is creating extra thick pistols it looks like pipecleaners instead of hairs. The plants are very short but have an extra dense canopy. Ive trimmed it two time now and might have to do it again.

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. Recovering just fine from the crash! I have another of exactly the same seed, critical +2.0, in a pot next to it (but a 20L pot) and they are currently the same size/doing as well as each other. Because the can is quite long I add a small amount of water from the top and also dip the can into the water to feed from below. At the bottom of the can I made around 15 small holes across the base, and there are stones covering perhaps the bottom 1.5cm of the can to further promote drainage. No ferts yet!

Finaler Grow-Report – Lemon Cherry Gelato Mein erster legaler Grow mit Lemon Cherry Gelato von Barney’s Farm ist fast abgeschlossen – das Curing läuft noch, aber es ist Zeit für ein Fazit zum Anbau! Setup & Bedingungen: Ich habe in einer Spider Farmer 90x90x180 cm Growbox unter der Spider Farmer SF-G3000 (300W LED) angebaut. Als Medium kam BioBizz Light-Mix zum Einsatz, gedüngt wurde mineralisch mit Advanced Nutrients (Grow, Bloom, Micro). Um das volle Potenzial der Pflanzen auszuschöpfen, setzte ich auf Low-Stress-Training (LST) und ein ScrOG-Netz zur optimalen Lichtverteilung. Keimung & Wachstum: Die Keimung verlief problemlos – 4 von 5 Samen sind innerhalb von zwei Tagen aufgegangen. Während der Vegetationsphase entwickelten sich die Pflanzen kräftig und reagierten gut auf das Training. Die ScrOG-Methode half, ein gleichmäßiges Wachstum und eine bessere Lichtnutzung zu erzielen. Blüte & Ernte: Nach etwa 6 Wochen Vegetation leitete ich die Blütephase ein. Die Pflanzen zeigten eine starke Harzproduktion und eine beeindruckende Farbgebung mit einer Mischung aus dunklen Grüntönen, lila Highlights und frostigen Trichomen. Das Aroma war von Anfang an fruchtig und zitronig, mit phänotypischen Unterschieden in der Intensität. Die Ernte fiel mit 300-350 g trockenen Blüten sehr zufriedenstellend aus – für meinen ersten legalen Grow ein starkes Ergebnis. Curing (still in run ): Aktuell lagern die Blüten in 24 Mason Jars (16oz) und einem 2L-CVault, um das Aroma weiter zu entwickeln. Derzeit dominiert eine zitronige Note, während die erhofften Kirsch-Terpene langsam stärker hervortreten. Mein Ziel ist es, die Haze-Noten möglichst gering zu halten und das volle fruchtige Profil herauszuarbeiten – der Prozess ist also noch nicht abgeschlossen. Fazit: Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Grow – die Kombination aus hochwertiger Genetik, gutem Training und präziser Nährstoffversorgung hat sich definitiv ausgezahlt. Die Buds sind harzig, aromatisch und vielversprechend, und ich bin gespannt, wie sich das Curing weiterentwickelt. Der nächste Schritt ist, das perfekte Terpenprofil zu treffen – und das Curing geduldig zu optimieren.

Skywalker putting on tons of frost and seems to be happy with the status quo so no more compost teas for her. Starting to have a distinct Kush scent filling the tent now. In the future I’d probably LST this from the start to increase yields but other than some defoliation throughout, I haven’t done any training which has been nice. Blueberry impressed me with the size of the buds starting to form. Signs of frost for sure. Not very aromatic yet at this point. Stem rub is a different story. She has been showing some signs of calcium/mag deficiency in some of the leaves which seemed to improve with top dressing/Recharge. Been drinking a steady liter minimum daily Glueberry OG continues to explode in growth. I’ve done quite a bit of defoliation to keep tops exposed and it has bounced back quick each time. I can see why this would be a fun strain outdoors, as it is slowly taking up a solid 4 square ft of the tent. I may end up finishing this outdoors depending on its desire to consume the canopy space. Due to the longer flower period, I’ll keep up with compost teas to support all that growth. So far, it seems to be working Week ended 7/20

She's looking gorgeous on her 3rd week it's just a wonderful strain to grow,let's see how she performs,I prepare a super soil mix using guanokalong organic dry amendments so I can't tell you about mililiters exactly because that's just not the way I like growing,I also add lactobacillus which are an awesome bacteria,every time I add lactobacillus to their water they just love it,the next day they get suuper green,obviously all the bacteria and humic acids from batguano worm castings and all of that helps,so I recomend if you're growing organic investigate a little about lactobacillus and how to prepare the lactobacillus liquid.
