Flower Week 5

1/11/25 these two phenos are literally the complete opposites. i labeled them from most sativa looking seedling, to the most indica looking. i believe #1 to be the closest to the mimosa parent and #5 may be the closest to the king kush parent. im not positive on this but one things for sure is that these are the most dramatically different phenos out of my 5 seeds. everything else kinda feel somewhere in the middle. its interesting and so far, every pheno has been something great. 1/12/25 checked the trichomes well today. #1 is interesting, she has a mix of clear and amber but not very many of them are cloudy. #5 has about 50/50 clear cloudy.

6.12.25 6th week flower started on 6.9. Just like my other 2 grows going right now this one got stunted really bad and started putting on flower way before recovery so here we have it another miniature plant, one of the smallest I ever grown maybe even seen! Oh well excited for next grow! Thank you for looking at grow I appreciate it!!!

Update of the garden

Auto run finished. Flipping photo's to 12/12 next week! Going to install trellis netting, attaching it to the HV kit framing. Going to throw a 3rd LEC 315 CMH in the tent with plans to replace with a HLG 650R LED.

Everything is perfect

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. like my previous experience, easy plant, the Fast Eddy grows almost alone, a real pleasure. a little disappointed by the wet harvested weight, but nice big nuggets. let's go for the dry

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

Leaves are starting to fade almost time to chop. Prob going to let it ride into week 10-11 into flowering as I’ve read the flowers can boom hard if you are patient w this particular strain.. but, as soon as I see some amber on the trichomes “TIMMBBERRRR!” Really looking forward to the smoke 👽🤙🏼

This smell ... sweet, very sweet, like sweets, lemon smell slightly noticeable at the very beginning, but when you touched her... on your fingers start to appear sticky and rich smell of juicy lemon. It is unbelievable that my babie can smell and look so great. I just can't wait... :D

Esta variedad me encanta, huelen genial y sus cogollos son super densos y llenos de resina siempre. Poca tolerancia a los excesos y es muy fácil de estresar. A pesar de todo sigue siendo una de mis variedades favoritas ya que su aroma old school con toques ácidos me fascina!. Actualizaré luego del secado y después notas de humo. Saludos!

Topping has gone extremely well. I expected to see more signs of flowering by now, certainly nothing definitive yet. Starting to wonder if it might be a photo and not an auto. Time will tell. Added an organic CO² producer on day 37 after noticing signs of deficiency.
