Last vegetating week, I'll flip tomorrow on the 14th. I got an auto drying in the tent which is the only place where I can do it, so she's now waiting for let's hope less than 3 days in my bathroom. I fixed the light to the ceiling and to the walls in the same set-up as in the tent. With one less plant in the tent, I was also able to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the center. Week breakdown: 2021-03-07: Nothing to read. 2021-03-08: Nothing to read. 2021-03-09: I could finally identify one male plant and removed it from the tent. Plus the other auto plant in the tent is almost done. I will do the switch at the end of this week. 2021-03-10: Nothing to read. 2021-03-11: Nothing to read. 2021-03-12: Last feeding before the flip, still with 8ml of each in 2L of water. 6.5pH 23,7C 1284ppm 2021-03-13: She's now in the bathroom waiting for her sister to dry in the tent. Final week of veg. Seems like a lot went on. As you can see, the canopy is virtual all even. The branches that were tied down 3 weeks ago were allowed to let go and reach for the light. In contrast, the taller and much stronger branches now became tied down. This took some work - these branches are thick and sturdy - pulling on them too much I am afraid will detach them from the trunk. That happened to the Gelato. It took a little bit of repositioning the wire garden ties everyday to achieve this. I'm happy to send them into flower like this. Speaking of Gelato. Her soil has been hot from the beginning. She has shown signs of high nitrogen levels and the run off from the pot is never clear. I purposely held off from feeding her nutrients bc of this, until this week. A day after feeding veg nutrients at 50% strength, there was yellow-browning and burning new growth leaf tips. This occurred for about 24 hrs on a few leaves then did not get worse. Next watering cycle will get only cal mag. Of note, the pH of any liquid going into Gelato has been consistently at 6.5. A few notes about the environmental conditions. According to VPD charts, the temperature / relative humidity ratio has not been ideal for vegetation. What would have improved the environment would have been the addition of a humidifier to reach about 60% RH at temps around 65 degrees F. Now, we are on to flower...

Pre is starting around 40 days.

Since the humidity stayed at a very high level, it was only a matter of time...HORROR!😱 I FOUND BUD-ROT! 😭 On day 73 (=Flowering Day 49) I spotted a white fuzz on my ZHEETOS #2 plant from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS. I took it out and inspected her closer and found budrot on the main stem and in the main bud. I immediately cut off the infected parts and tried to save the rest of the plant. (see first video above) Since I do NOT want to spray my plants with any chemicals, because they are my medicine, I resort to UV-C light. I use the CLEANLIGHT HOBBY UNIT (a UV-C plant protection light from the Netherlands, that kills bacteria, viruses and fungi) and shine the UV-C light on all my plants and the soil-surface in the pots (see second video above). This will kill all the remaining spores of bud-rot (which are a kind of fungus) in my closet and stop it from further spreading to my other plants. I also immediately stop giving any BIO NOVA nutrients from this moment on, although the plants LOVE THEM. But I have to do this in order to flush the plants before harvesting them. I cannot risk and wait until the plants are fully matured, I have to do an emergency flush and harvest as soon as possible, so I dont loose the rest of my medicine to bud-rot. Hold your thumbs that I can save them for a week longer...👍

I must say it’s been a great week for Pineapple 🍍 Express,,she has really taken to her environment and feeding well,!! Her leaves are telling me that she is really happy,,so the next couple weeks are gonna be important for me as I will be doing my best to get her pinned in the 2x2,,as well as i can before she races off to flower 🤞🍍🍍

03/12 - Day 68 Girls are putting out some really nice aromas! I’m assuming this is the last push for this strain, buds are really tight and super hard when squeezed on (B) & (C) All around the trichomes are still pretty clear and no amber yet.

In this dairy I will be growing two, Critical + 2.0 photoperiod plants alongside 4 others (see other dairies) using the methods of Topping, Low Stress Training, ScrOG and slight defoliation under the screen. I am growing in a 4x4 area and will be using a 250W MH, 400W & 600W HPS over the grow period. The other 4 plants will be grown using the same technique and environment, I am just splitting the dairies into separate strains as recommended by GrowDairies. The seeds were placed directly into solo cups that were pre-soaked with plan, pH'd water overnight beforehand. After three days all seedlings had emerged, and I placed them in the shadow of my other plants currently being grown for three more days. After this I transplanted them directly into the 11L pots that they will be in until harvest (see photos). I will be growing the plants until the are roughly 6 weeks old or 1m tall, whichever comes first. I will be bending them and keeping the branches low to build an even canopy, so this time period could change. All of the seedlings are being grown in BioBizz all-mix soil, so I will not be using nutrients either for the first 1-2 weeks. Any questions or recommendations, please let me know! Thanks :)

After she finished draining, which took around 5-10min, I turned her pot 1/4 turn. 12/15- Yesterday I just watered the Zkittlez Auto with 0.5g of well water with a base ppm of 100 which I ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. Today I fed/watered with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 to which I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Bloom 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g each, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 1050ppm(500 scale) nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC (2.1 EC), I ph'd the solution to 6.4 @ 72℉ then watered until I had runoff. These guys seem to have some stunted growth from being in that shitty rock wool dish setup I had but they are making up for it now that they are in the air pots. I transplanted them into sunshine #4 because my other plants have had problems with N tox in coco loco, the only other soil mix I have...probably won’t ever be using fox farm soil again. Too expensive for what it is and it’s a pain in the ass dealing with nute probs. Day 8: into the new grow tent tomorrow

Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next.
