She’s growing like a champ . I couldn’t ask for more. I’ve began light defoliation of lower leaf sets. I also am experimenting with what I call “grooming” . I had a theory after about 5 weeks of growing my last run & decided to see if it pushed any limits . I haven’t begun training any lateral branches yet I think I’m gonna hold out until flowering is initiated or try to anyway . Only watering when dry still . No additional feedings or compost teas yet although I am considering . I think that’s all , another week on the GreeneScene in the books 📚

Week 17 Nothing really moved this week. It’s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment … waiting for blossoms and flowers 🙄🙏. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now it’s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didn’t touch spiderwebs…good insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Psicodelicia is still a pretty plant but I saw some bad leaves covered by white spots… behind I notice some little light yellow grubs: it’s certainly a thrips attack. I treated the plant with potassium soap and wait before the Neem oil. The numbers of blooming sites are well identified and growth is totally fixed.

Loving the way this strain is bushy but yet so compact. I plan on vegging her for atleast another month or so before I throw her into flower. I definitely recommend this strain especially if your looking for explosive vegetative growth.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. In all this was a terrible harvest, and because I also do videos for my YouTube channel I don't update on Grow diaries properly which I will start doing with future grows.... Well on my next harvest will definitely do a better job of documenting my harvest details. But in regards to the Dark Phoenix, yeah not a strain I'm a fan off. At first I kept telling myself that I done a terrible job that's why i don't like it... But I need to keep in mind that I'm not going to like all strains, all strains are different and we all have different preferences. Some people might like the Dark Phoenix, me personally I'm not a fan. It has that earthy taste to it... Hashy/kushy...... Smoking it as I'm typing that's why 😅 and even with a longer cure I doubt it would make much of a difference to make me like it. But in all still a nice smoke, good high from her, the high hits you straight away and keeps you active and creative.... Don't know what else to say about her really, just trying to give you guys the best most accurate review that I can without bringing my own personal thoughts about the strain. I might not like it but its still a good smoke. 👍🏾😎

The smell is so strong that I have to change my ACF. Cherry high shows her autumn colours. I'm just curious to see if the thin branches will hold the flowers, because they look very solid and keep growing. The problems in the veggi are gone, great genetic. I dont like to seem like a "know it all" but, if you want the buds too be thiK and have little leaf mass, pick out those bug fans forming inbetween buds when shes flowering from the start of buds forming, to the end... But dont over do it! If you havnt noticed - ive shared pictures of her flowered ( this is a clone of that plant) ✌️💚💖

Week# day14

De nuevo familia, estoy de vuelta para actualizar la 5 semana y la verdad que mal, que no esperaba tantos errores en un cultivo , pero el trasplante no les sentó muy bien , empezaron amarillear por abajo por falta de nutrientes , ya aporte N nitrógeno para ponerlas verdes pero bueno eso ralentizó algo el crecimiento a ver si las recuperamos al 100% y las pasamos a floración, veremos cómo crecen estos días. Seguiré aportando algún riego Rico en N nitrógeno para estimular el crecimiento y que cojan buen color. Volví a colocar el humidificador, en principio lo quite pero también pienso que les falto humedad esos días y tampoco ayudo , hasta ahora esto es todo espero no cometer más errores aquí, Buenos humos 💨💨

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.
