Had rain For 2 days high humidity buds also added another wave of pistills on 1 cheese strain

Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards the finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. This blackcherry punch is just impressive. I love her purple buds, decent size colas, and dank skunky aroma. She has swelled up a lot the past week. I'm thinking she might be the first to ripen. Will probably move her to the front of the room sometime this coming week so I can start watching her trichomes.

A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Long time since update but I’m unsure on what to do with the Og because of what happened during veg it’s definitely a week behind the gelato so it’s either risk overflowering the gelato or cut the Og 1 week too early, like to hear your opinions if possible as I’m thinking of prioritising the gelato.

The Name of this cross. Then i Mixed Cali Genetics Purple Milkshake female with with a Lady Spider Male. The New Strain is called Black Venom. I believe it wil be Blackish/Purple Like The parents. About the Taste, we will know it maybe in a few weeks :) I Hope this 4 Babys Are females.

Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. I received the clones from An out of province breeder. It reached me after three days of driving on the road with no light. Their future was not certain. I didn’t think I would need that many fans for the clones because they are so tiny, I figured they didn’t need that much maintenance. I was 100% wrong when I’m working with this many plants. I ended up getting mild mildew on top of the soil on the first week because there was barely any air circulation. At this point I didn’t have any Ventilation put up yet. And one fan on the floor. I ended up installing three fans in one room. No issues

They have super citrus and lemony mixed with floral notes it's just absolutely awesome,I'd love to get a few bags of these nugs,I'm growing using nothing but organic dry amendments,I prepare a super soil recipe using guanokalong nutrients and also florians living organics,love the organic aromas,I definitely want to grow this strain just because of that characteristic like lemon with floral notes it's awesome,but I feel like they are not going to be very productive.

Another week closer to the finish line and the Chicken N' Wafflez continued to mature beautifully. Temperatures remained stable at 24°C during lights on and 20°C at night with a steady 50% RH, creating a comfortable environment for late flower development. 🌱 The most noticeable change this week was the continued increase in resin production. The buds and sugar leaves became even more coated in trichomes, giving the plant a frosted appearance from top to bottom. ❄️ The fade also progressed significantly, with deep purple tones spreading across much of the foliage and adding a lot of visual appeal. 💜 Bud development continued as well, although the flowers seemed to stack more vertically than expand outward. While they did gain some additional mass, the most obvious change was their increased length and structure rather than overall width. The main cola especially continued to build upward and now stands out as an impressive spear-shaped top. 🔥 Feeding remained very simple this week with only water and CalMag. Water consumption stayed consistent, showing that the plant is still actively transpiring but has likely entered the final stages of maturation. 💧 The aroma profile is becoming more defined. Alongside the sweet jam-like notes, a subtle spicy character has emerged, backed by a light gassy undertone. The combination creates a rich and unique scent that becomes more noticeable every day. 🍯 Trichome development is progressing nicely, with the majority now appearing milky while a smaller portion remains clear. Harvest is getting closer, but there is still a little room left for the plant to finish ripening. ✨ Overall, Week 12 was defined by increased frost, stronger colors, continued bud stacking and steady maturation. The Chicken N' Wafflez is looking healthy, highly resinous and is shaping up to be a very attractive late-flower plant. 🌿

It’s so sad grow looked pretty good and know noting left.

Se nota una producción de resina notable en esta genética que nos ha gustado mucho por su olor y estructura de las plantas . hemos creado un video por cada una de las 14 plantas del seguimiento, hay varias muy llamativas que están "pre-seleccionadas" para mantener a futuro, el olor que se llega a sentir es muy florar y dulce, si tienen alguna pregunta no duden en preguntar saludos.
