First week of veg and all 3 are growing at the same pace. Will try to monitor and bend if one of then grows freakishly tall for some reason.

Starting to see some purple on some of the leaves and I smell them every time I open up the tent . Just giving them regular ph water now and waiting for the harvest. Older leaves are also fading yellow .

I am happy with the outcome of this grow. This was my first time growing autoflowers and ILGM genetics. Total wet weight was 1301 grams Total dry weight 8.5 oz These plants are very hardy and grow tall very quickly with the tallest plant reaching 4 ft tall. Each plant grew very different bud structures which resulted in some very dense and very fluffy buds. If you are looking for a very uniform growing plant with dense buds you may need to look for another strain. The smell from these buds are strong and amazing. I would describe the smell as fruity glue with rubber. I am overall very pleased with how this grow went and I cant wait to grow some more!

How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. Very easy plant to harvest, didn't have too much leaves, so very easy to take out fan leaves and prepare to dry.

This plant is a slow growing strain heavy on the Indica side. Is a connoisseur strain not recommended for commercial Grow. To slow if in it to make some money. But was a pleasure to grow. It is definitely a head turner and is more potent than most purple stains I have tried before. So if ya got time and like something truly special give it a go...happy growing guys0

Pues seguimos controlando ph, lo bajamos un poco a 6,2 a ver si chupan mejor los nutrientes, temperatura y humedad controlados, siempre dentro de los parámetros correctos, hemos bajado un poco la distancia del foco, ahora en floración lo agradecerán. Así que esto es todo, ya veis que va bien tiene buen color y no hay problema ninguno, nos vemos la semana que viene fumetillas.

Plantas en esta semana crecen mucho sobre todo las 3 de atrás de Purple City Genetics, Royallife1 y Orange sherbet, plantas van reaccionando muy bien al cambio del fotoperiodo presentando las primeras pre flores. Tuve que sacar 2 plantas las mas chicas 1 de Tropicanna Poison y 1 de PCG, debido al alto crecimiento de las demás.

Petite taille effectué, j’ai coupé l’apex et j’ai laisser seulement le noeud juste en dessous de celui qui étais le plus développé, pour vois si les deux repousse de l’apex et celle du noeud en dessous arrive à la même taille/croissance , afin d’être le plus symétrique possible. Car avant tous je suis passionné par l’art végétal et le bonsaï, j’ai commencé à cultiver du cannabis il y a maintenant 3ans, un été j’ai planté une petite graines dans un bête terreaux vide de nutriments, et là tout a commencé. Mais comme dis précédemment j’aimais l’art, et ce plant en question je l’ai transformé en bonsaï, un magnifique bonsaï, un chef d’œuvre, au quel j’ai perdu toutes photos. L’année d’après j’ai recommencé le même scénario, une graine et on recommence, la se fut un échec, plant trop gourmand et trop sensible au stress, il m’a lâché à 3/4semaine de floraison, puis maintenant 1ans que je cultive en intérieur a rechercher une bonne recette de living soil, toujours à la recherche de perfection jusqu’à couper avant même la fin de floraison car j’étais pas satisfait du résultat. (C’est pour ça aussi que j’ai supprimé tous mes journaux) J’ai coupé deux cultures comme ça et j’ai fais qu’une récoltes sur la troisième. Maintenant celle qui m’excite le plus est la petite graine d’extérieur, oui comme on dit jamais deux sans trois, plus de 1ans que j’attends cette variété, la Frosty purple freak. Le mutant violet de chez Khalifa Genetic. Que je vais bien évidemment travailler comme un bonsaï, mais symétrique , je vais éviter de trop le stresser comme j’ai eu du retard sur la croissance du a certain imprévu de type limace et temps catastrophique. (2 graines bien planté dans mon derrière.) je vais essayer de bien le diriger tous en essayant d’avoir une certaine récolte, en faire un bonsaï crée d’énormes stress au plant et ralenti considérablement la croissance, pour essayer de récolter 50/100 grammes sur le plant en extérieur faudrais approcher les 3/4 mois de végétation si tu implique des haut stress training et de la coupe a gogo. Et j’avoue que j’ai pas payer plus de 50litre de living soil juste pour 15/20 grammes de récoltes sur le plant, même si la satisfaction d’avoir fait une œuvre d’art, ça ne vaut pas le coup, je ferais mieux l’année prochaines, je dois accepter cette défaite. J’ai mis des vidéo de mon deuxième bonsaï, il étais en début de floraison et il avait environ 4mois, sans nutriments ,je lui estimais 30/50 grammes en fin de Flo, mais il m’a lâcher. Dans les deux dernières vidéo, il y en a une où on voit bien le dépôt bactérien et nutritifs du thé de compost oxygéné. Recette du thé pour la semaine 15litre d’eau de pluie 30 gr guano guali 15 gr Meal wormcastings 15 gr nettle 7 gr spirulina 7 gr Hydrosolat Kelp 225 gr wormcastings 15 gr hydrolysât de poisson 15 gr Comfrey 10 gr levure saccharomyces cerevisiae souches lycc 6420 60 gr Zeolit of chabasit 15 gr Azomite 45 ml de mélasse 15ml d’acide Humic et fluvic J’ai arroser 6 litre pour la purple freak et le reste a d’autre plantes Et un autre arrosage avec 500ml d’eau neutre avec 1gr bacilllus amyloliquefaciens x5 qui a été effectué le lendemain du thé La culture se passe bien, du côté de la purple freak Aucun problème à déplorer, plant très résistant, au changement de température et condition climatique supporte très bien les orages et les temps pluvieux et chaud, pas de signe de maladie, j’ai actuellement des ravageur depuis le début de la culture, pas un signe de problème. Réagit très bien au coupe, j’en suis plus que ravie, elle fait partis de mon top1. Seul truc qui m’inquiète, c’est ce mauvais temps. Un mélange de chaleur et de pluie, qui a amené de l’oidium sur certaine de mes plantes extérieur, j’ai peur que cela se propage sur la purple freak. Je vais devoir traiter tous cas, sans traitement agressif bien sûr.

For those who follow me could see that I was absent and I apologize to you and the ladies in this tent. These seedsman northern lights are tough. I was out of town for work during their prime stretch phase and all they got was straight water added to the res. Two of them are specimens still and the one without the floraflex feeding cap isn’t getting the nutes distributed they way the plant likes so today I’ll modify one and see if I can make her happier. In the end I know they’ll end up strong but it was during the crucial stretch period and they needed more than they got. All we can do is move on and try to make them flourish. Thanks for looking. This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆.
