Week 2: The adjustment Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the second week and have continued to grow. But they also faced some challenges that I will tell you about. The adjustment My plants have adapted to the new conditions in my room this week. I realized that I had my lamps too close to the plants and that they got too much light and heat. This resulted in them not developing as well as I had hoped. I therefore hung my lamps higher and reduced the intensity of the light. I lowered the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) from 400 to 280, to give the plants a more comfortable environment. The PPFD is a measure of the amount of light that the plants receive per square meter and second. The higher the PPFD, the more light the plants get, but also the more nutrients and water they need. The plants accepted the change very well and recovered quickly. They started to grow stronger again and formed more leaves. They also got a nicer color and look healthier. One plant that suffered a lot was the Frosty Nightmare. She was overwatered and had trouble developing. She was smaller and weaker than the others and had yellow tips on the leaves. I therefore gave her less water and moved her away from the other plants, to give her more space and air. She recovered and grew again. She is still the smallest of all, but she has potential. I also increased the temperature in my room by 1 degree, to give the plants more heat. I set the temperature from 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, which is still in the optimal range for the plants. The plants liked that and showed me that by their growth. I let them vote democratically, by observing the plants and interpreting their reactions. :D The water filter I also want to introduce you to my water filter from Watertrim, which I use for my grow. It is a great product that saves me a lot of time and money and is also better for the environment. The water filter has only two connections: an inlet and an outlet. So it has no waste water, which would otherwise go into the drain. It has different options of the filter, depending on how much water you want to filter and how high the EC value of the tap water is. The EC value is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the water, which depends on the dissolved minerals. The higher the EC value, the more minerals are in the water, which are not always good for the plants. My filter filters at an inlet EC of 1.0 1000 liters, before it needs to be renewed. Since my tap water has an EC of 0.5, I can filter 2000 liters with it, until I have to renew it. That costs about 100 euros and works easily and quickly via the post. The flow is almost 1 to 1 in speed, so no more waiting. I can tap the water directly from the filter and use it for my grow. I use the filter as follows: I tap water at the filter. I pour normal tap water on it, until I have an EC of 0.3. I add fertilizers etc., depending on what the plants need. I check the EC again and adjust it if necessary. I also adjust the pH value, which should be between 6.2 and 6.5, to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. I give the water to my plants. The water filter is really a great product, even if it is not very cheap in the purchase with once of 240 - 390 euros. But it pays off in the long run, as it saves me a lot of work and costs and also improves the quality of my water. u can find it here : https://watertrim.de The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the second week. My plants have adapted well and recovered from the problems. They have grown further and formed more leaves. They have recovered well and showed a great growth. I am very excited about the next week, where it goes to the repotting and the ladies can try fertilizer for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a little late, even if I use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well alone. Lemon cherry cookies has grown really well in the Agrogardens nutrition, under the Medic Grow Mini Sun-2. I did not have any major issues during the grow. The buds have a slight purple hue to them. She has a strong sweet but sour cherry and citrus aroma. She was a good grow. Day 46 flower GDP is starting to show them purple genes and lookin great, The buds them selves look great but man she is a leafy girl. I either did defoliate enough or theses colas are just leafy af Sour diesel, shes still frosty as ever and has the most amazing smell I have ever smelled from a plant in my life, just straight orange peel with a follow up gas. stubby little dense buds, this is gonna be really good smoke Northern Lights, I mean they speak for themselves, this plant has done great at stacking. ALotta big colas and are rock solid. This one smells like straight gasoline. I been checking their trichomes and alotta of them are about 80%clear. I wanna see 80% cloudy and 20% amber. I really need to get these girls down in the next 2 weeks.

Adding a bloom booster to this week's watering, they don't look like they changed much from last week. but I will check the time lapse movie to see what is happening, looks like they are ready for a big PK Cal mag blast as the last feeding until week 12. i am hopeing these will turn purple. with out the cold treatment.

La settimana scorsa era rimasta un po' indietro rispetto le sue amiche (diverse genetiche) ma adesso ha veramente dato il suo scatto è ha rivelato che è all'altezza delle sue compagne di crescita! Anche lei sembra che si stia iniziando a riempire bene e ho deciso di togliere qualche internodo centrale per favorire l'areazione ed evitare eventuali sorprese di muffe più in là( anche se non ho mai avuto problemi meglio prevenire che curare)...non vedo l'ora che si inizi a gonfiare un po' perché sono molto curioso di questa genetica! Ha un 29% di THC quindi dovrebbe essere adatta a me .... speriamo bene e incrociamo le dita! Nel frattempo volevo ribadire la potenza di questi prodotti di Cannaboom! Sto usando tutta la linea full cream (con qualche aiuto della linea minerale tipo il loro CALMAG(SI) ) che oltre ad essere un semplice Cal Mag contiene anche silicio e ferro! Veramente adatto a le piante per fare assimilare meglio potassio e fosforo! Credetemi che con solo due applicazioni ho potuto vedere delle differenze esuberanti! Infatti speromtanto di continuare a usare i loro prodotti perché mi stanno veramente aiutando a spaccare questa growbox da 100x100! Quindi ancora grazie a CANNABOOM! Day 14 and the Cali snow is growing pretty well. I upped the maxigro to .5 tsp per gallon and started them on a little armor si so they can build some strong branches. Still running them on 24 hour light and 24 hour irrigation. They are going to stay under the blurple lights for a few more weeks until I can get them in the big room under the quantum boards. I'm hoping they will flower around 4 weeks but my autos seem to enjoy staying in veg so we will see what happens.

Light is now at 100% intensity, and I have begun adding RAW BLOOM Microbes to the soil. Going to let it go another week before I defoliate again.

Fue una experiencia nueva utilizando este ciclo de cultivo 12/12hrs, encuentro que es una excelente producción para el ciclo utilizado. Psicodelicia es una planta que recomiendo, buen aspecto, de un excelente desarrollo. Además de una excelente producción. Las flores cosechadas están perfectas para realizar extracciones, contienen mucha resina pegajosa y olorosa.

He sido muy estricto con los riegos, dejando que el top hasta el nudillo se seque completamente! Día 14 (07/05) Hago una mejora en la tienda. Hasta ahora tenia intracción pasiva, pero ahora he instalado una turbina para que impulse aire fresco dentro de la tienda Día 15 (08/05) Con el calor que hace me sorprende que las macetas sigan aguantando la humedad, pero al hundir el nudillo sigue húmeda. 18.06 A way more late update of this grow as I usually provide for two reasons - first I didn't had any time to control or keep care of this grow during the last weekend, second: due to the first point I run into a problem I needed to identify before I update my journal. As you can see in the video there is one plant with some kind of brown leave tips and yellow sugar leaves. I am not 100% sure why this happened but I think it could be some kind of wind burn. I didn't noticed that one slot of my power strips wasn't working anymore, this slot was turning on and off some fans. So the fans just blow straight at least for two days in a row against the plants. Beside that I raised the speed of my main fan a bit a week ago and the plant that is the nearest to this fan show the signs on the leaves I notice here. So I fixed the fans and observed the plants a bit more in detail the last days. The problem didn't developed further so I think this is fine now. There can also be some other reasons, as I wrote last week I changed a bit my nutrient scheme but since I wasn't above EC 2 at all I am not really comfortable with this theorie. Anyway, I closed the tank from sunday to monday so the plants just had what was left in the autopot system and used that until the next light schedule. Afterwards I changed my nutrient scheme back to the classic Hesi scheme. The plants are really well, the trichomes are still clear so I think we have at least until 3 weeks to harvest. The plants will become next week full scheme, afterwards I will check the trichomes again and decide if I start to reduce the scheme or not as we come closer to the harvest.
