Sorry not many pics this week, struck down with man-flu! Few pics of the new 600wt lumni fully adjustable light I picked up and have replaced one of the smaller kingbo’s with it, thought about having the two kingbo’s either side of this lumni but I really didn’t wanna forfeit the 400wt cobs! Also bought another double output air pump, so going into flowering phase, watt/plant ratio has increased and so has aeration to the air domes inside the smart pots. I’ve also added a small water pump to the nutrient tank to keep it moving/oxygenated while it’s waiting to feed into the drip tray.

Starting to have a sweet ripe banana's smell that's getting stronger every day. Day 54 it's still smelling amazing but is having some sort of deficiency.

Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

I think I was pHing wrong. My cheap digital meter isn't helping. Switching to drops shows that my run off is pH 4. I am currently doing a flush with 2 tablespoons per gallon of Hurculean Harvest pH'd to 8. Questions: 1) For the flush, do I just keep running water through all at once until the run off changes? 2) How do I save this plant? 3) When do I begin trimming? 4) How and what do I trim? 5) When do I begin Sog or Scrog training? 6) How do I flush and avoid root rot? 7) When do I switch to flowering? I am super happy with this strain, the pictures and videos truly don't do her justice. She absolutely reaks of blueberries, and the buds sparkle like diamonds. LAST WATER 6/4 6/5 The sun has been relentless and has caused some bleaching and burns on some older leaves. It seems that the gmos ate having the hardest time (except one). It's been extremely hot though. It's overcast and we are supposed to have thunderstorms and a few more mild days. Plants loved tje water yesterday. I hope it does rain. Plants are growing and seem to be surviving. Burns are on old growth. If I notice more I'll put my back tarp up which will block the sun in the afternoon and put them in shade. I wish I had done that earlier. Oh well. With what these girls have encountered and overcome I think I'll be OK. EDIT: IT WAS IN THE 80'S TODAY. PROBABLY HIT 90. I HAD TO GET MY CAR INSPECTED AND WAS GONE EXPECTING IN THE MORNING THAT THE THUNDERSTORMS WOUKD START. INSTEAD WE HAD A VICIOUSLY SUNNY HOT DAY UNTIL 4PM. AT 4PM SHIT HIT THE FAN AND IT RAINED SO HARD I WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE. I LIVE IN MAINE SO I KNOW HOW TO DRIVE IN INCLIMENT WEATHER. THIS WAS ANSOLUTE ZERO VISABILITY. I WANTED TO PUT A TARP UP TO SHIELD THE GIRLS FROM THE SUN BUT I WASNT ABLE TOO. WHEN I GOT TO THE GROW RIGHT BEFORE THE STORM IT HAD RAINED A LITTLE AND IT SMELLED SO GOOD. LIKE SOIL. I THINK THIS DOWNPOUR WILL REALLY HELP THE GIRLS. ONLY TIME WILL TELL. 6/6 Plants faired ok through the storm. The 3 earliest transplants and what WERE the nicest looking gmos are getting some burns and bleaching. It's all on old leaves though. I think they're pulling out of it and will grow through it. Some plants seem to not be stressed at all. With tje elements being the way they have I'm suprised they aren't far worse. I was going to put up my back tarp to block sunlight later in the day but I didn't. The burns are on the other sides of the plants and it's supposed to be overcast with showers for a full day. It's clear right now but the new growth and tops of the plants seem fine now. When I got there a few were limp. As soon as the sun came up though they all perked back up. Only time will tell. 6/7 Showers today. It's good to have a break from that horrific 80-90 degree weather with 90% rh isn't run for me or the plants. Plants are recovering from the burns quite nicely. Obviously the burnt leaves won't repair but they did a good job of shielding some of the others. Things are going. 6/8 Still overcast with showers. I removedc a couple burnt fan leavesxand accidently ripped off a bud site. 6/9 Another overcast day. Rained last night. Soil is saturated from all the rain we've gotten. Plants seem to be settling in nicely. The 3 GMOs that WERE the best looking plants are the ones in the worst shape. The got transplanted a day earlier in a lot of sun and wind. They're coming back though. I've noticed that after it rains and they get even a little sun they grow significantly. Those event horizons are tough. The toasted toffy is a reveg but it looks like its going to be a huge plant. I have the 3 seedlings still in small pots. I'll transplant them soon. 6/10 Overcast and a chance of showers. I removed a few bleached fan leaves on a few of my GMO'S that strain took the most damage. They are bouncing back though. We've had a few dayscof rain and milder weather. Few more days with a chance of showers then back to the sunny days. Plants seem to have come out of shock and out grown the light burn. After the rain, when the sun comes out they grow a noticeable amount. Things are still going fairly well. 6/11 Rained and I didn't do

Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

2 girls 1 cup week 3! Thanks for stopping by and checking out my experiment. They're getting a little big to be taking individual overhead pics everyday now. They always both end up in the same shot no matter what. Will still update daily with pic. Got a new cam that can do timelapse. Almost sent it back until I said fuck it and tried TWO layers of sunglasses. Diff colors too. One more of a FLD filter color, one more of a UV filter color. Both are polarized as well. I'm sure the night vision footage will be trash with the IR behind the lenses, so the timelapse will have res checks/changes and night prob edited out. Stay tuned for that! Going 1/2 strength GHE week 3 light feed and actually changed RES last night. Was looking at em and already noticed WG was drooping more than it should. Normal transportation and growth/energize cycles are expected, but was looking overwatered. GC if you look in vid "d14" in first and second set of fingers showing interveinal chlorosis. PH has been between 5.52 and 6.4 (lowest and highest), and averages a swing in a 12hr shift from 5.71'ish to 6.17'ish. Not uploading notes again like last week, but you'd get the idea if you saw them, I take notes lol. So PH wasn't an issue. They've been averaging a 7-15ppm drop in res per 12hr and has only been climbing again due to ph down additions. I should prob change RES mid week so it's not a high concentration of ph product. So they're DEF eating proper, have stable ph swings, optimal res Temps and dissolved oxygen is good. WG taking on more water to get the nutes, causing leaves to droop from excess water. GC moving nutes from old growth to the new growth. So they're hungry. Ghe claims 62.5ppm nitrogen, 275-375ppm target per mixture below. Mixed and measured in between each addition to get my numbers. -2gal Water/calmag/hydroguard 215ppm -Micro 4.9mL - 170ppm -Grow 4.6mL - 100ppm -Bloom 3.4mL - 60ppm Nute concentration - 330ppm (nailed it again GHE) Water - 215ppm Total - 545ppm Ph'd to 5.6 final tds 563ppm Mars Hydro TSW2000 on theeee way to finish these girls off right.. some of my worries are settled. For now... *they just ate 32ppm since this mornings RES chk/adj... I was thinking I'd have to swap RES once mid week once they get older, but think they may benefit from it sooner than later. Marked the tube in the same spot as the clear, but it was almost a gallon more in reality at the same mark. I was drowning them with no air gap below the upper growing chamber. After measuring, it was submerged by about 5/8th inch. Sorted that out, and took almost all day for em to perk up. On top of that, the new light and adding another oscillator changed my environment. No more humidifier in the tent. Thought I lost both of them.. Soggy leaves, spotting, etc. Backed nutes back down to 3/4 strength wk 3 due to slight curling in new growth and one lighter tip on one new finger. Shortened the training rods tonight and started with some bondage. Prob the last time they'll get tied down before the net gets used (if needed) here in a week or so. Backed off to 16 DLI from 20 until they really perk up. End of week 3
