Day 80, 22nd of October 2020: 3rd week of flowering! Happiness she needs a lot of boost hard to keep up. She loves fertilization too much..... I mean before always craving for nitrogen now qould need more potassium and phosphorus hard to keep up. I also detect deficiency based on the leaves getting lighter and brown spots but I do feed her as much as I can really. This week i have relised the first nice trichomes started "sitting" on the leaves as well and the pistils coming out nicely pre flowers forming. Let's go.

The final stretch. She MAY be foxtailing a bit, but she’s a 9-10 weeker (more typical?), pretty even throughout plant (so likely genetic?), and I plan to harvest in max 1 week so we will ride it out. First ever harvest! Plant #2 has been covered in trichomes for the last two weeks and with a jeweler's magnifying glass and my camera phone zooming 7x it's clear that many of trichomes have turned amber. I chopped her down last night and have been hanging the branches upside down in a cardboard box with a fan and dehumidifier. I've read I should keep the temperature in the 70s F and the humidity around 50%. I'm doing my best but the garage isn't well insulated so I'm at the mercy of the weather. I'll keep an eye on them and when the branches snap easily I'll get them in jars for curing. Plant #1 still has some time to go. The branches are filling out but to the naked eye there are no trichomes. When I look with the magnifying glass I can see them but I'm concerned that #2 had been coated in them for about two weeks now. Should I just wait? I think I'll just wait

Popped these seeds on Monday (30/03/20). Germination Method: Soaked seeds in Vitathrive overnight and transferred to Jiffy pellets. I used the excess water with Vitathrive to soak the pellets 👍. Two days later, what I’ll reference now as P1, popped out. P2 is two days behind. These seeds were sent from BF over a year ago. Day 5 - Placed both in 1 Gallon fabric pot with an amended Coco Coir mix. Grow medium (per 1 Gallon) in Vivosun 1 Gal Fabric pot. Coco Coir, 1.5 TBSP of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 2 TBSP Earthworm Casting. I debated doing a synthetic run again but love the simplicity of using Gaia Green. I will start early giving the plants some Organic Cal-Mag for General Organics. Outcome of mix TBD LoL... Lights: HLG 65W 4000k QB for the first 2-3 weeks depends on space. HLG 95W - Week 3 to 6 or until the 3x3’ tent is open for business. I plan (I change my mind on a daily so we’ll see) to do a two plant in a 3x3’ flowering tent under the HLG QB 288 (260W 3000k) Game Plan Last grows I had amended my mix with Feather Meal which caused Nitrogen Toxicity in both plants. For this run I plan to start extremely light and adjust accordingly, meaning I’ll top dress with FM as needed or maybe at week 2. Plants currently under humidity dome with vents open as I have the strawberry nuggets on the other side finishing up (need low humidity for the next two weeks). Veg time will be at most 6 weeks if I’m running both plants in my flowering tent. Recommend flowering time for this strain is 9-10 weeks therefore plenty of growth will occur once the switch is flipped to 12/12. Why Phantom OG? We’ll I’m a fan of Sativa Dominant Hybrids. Read great reviews on this strain and looks like a strain that will produce enormous buds, to be seen.

So far 2 ounces under the single mars TS1000 7 oz from the 3 plants at the hps flower room One plant weighed and curing from the hps dark devils x3 First hps dark devil weighing 3 ounces. Dark devil (lighter color) hps grow Look: 9 Smell: 8 (chocolate scent) Density: 4 Moisture: 2 Taste: 7 High: 10 Crash: 0 This dark devil is a little less dense then the other but still looks very unique with its purplish tinge and orange hairs. The smell is a chocolate lovers heaven as the smoke is very flavorful with the delicious scent of chocolate! The taste is diesely with a hint of earthly undertones and aftertaste that tastes even better imo. As for the high, it's a slow and steady mellow high; high function kind of high, not crazy relaxing but not super energetic. It's a very nice and calm get things done feeling. The end of the high is very mellow as well; there's really no crash and my hunger hasn't spiked and I'm an hour and a half into it! Summary: This strain of dark devil is a good choice is your a high functioning smoker and enjoy a nice mellow relaxing high with aromas that make the experience just that much better! 8/10

18.5.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.4 PPM: 780 I added the PK booster this feeding, just to provide some phosphorus without risking an excess. Next time, I won't use it. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. 22.5.25: Well, I had a total disaster with my HulkBerry. My tall, oscillating fan fell over and smashed straight down on her. 3 tops broke, so I had to improvise. I made the repairs and took the photos in under 5 mins. The next morning, the branch closest to the camera had fallen again, attached by only a small membrane. Amazingly, she had turned all the leaves, now on the floor of the tent, upwards towards the light. I patched it up again, and she's not looking too bad. However, I'm going to have to be exceedingly careful when watering the two other plants and moving the pots. I'm going to need to add support, stakes, maybe. I will think of something, no doubt. After all this occurs, I taped her up and watered. I fed 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with; ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Ecothrive Biosys. I also added ♡ 3ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids. I figured she would need some nitrogen and the building blocks to heal. N5-P0-K0. I will water again with the same today. Send some healing vibes 🍃✌️💚🤞🌱😊 24.5.25: I watered with Ecothrive Biosys 3ltrs each. The plants are still drinking at least 2 litres per day. They are increasingly thirsty, and it's important that I don't let them dry out. The soil is mostly coco and perlite, so it can dry out quicker. There are plenty of worm castings, too, so that definitely helps. The buds are developing and progressing very nicely, keeping up with the flowering nutrients and alternating between Ecothrive Biosys, Trace, and Greenleaf Nutrients. 25.5.25: I watered with 2.5 ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 I added Per 6.5 litres; ♡ 1Tsp Sea K(elp) ♡ 1/2 Tsp Bud Explosion ♡ 7ml Trace PH: 6.3 PPM: 840 SOLUTION TEMP: 30°C SOIL PH: 7 SOIL TEMP: 21°C AMBIENT TEMPERATURE: 23-26°C RELATIVE HUMIDITY: 58%. She grew 12cm this week. Now 27cm tall. She seems to be very bushy already. It could be a nice sign!

I was pleasantly surprised by the yield from these 2. Plant #1 (back left this grow) yielded a whopping 4.79 ounces, my 2nd biggest producer this grow! #2 yielded 3.57 ounces, which while the lowest of the 4, is still an extremely respectable yield for a single plant in a 4 plant tent! Especially one that received as little attention as this one did. #2 remained resilient the entire grow, however due to the placement of my tent received the least amount of attention/defoliation, which is consistent with its yield. #1 was more easily accessible, and while it did have cal mag & ph issues early on, still received significant defoliation and care, hence the larger yield. Overall very happy with this strain, I have 3 of these seeds on hand, so there’s a good chance you’ll see another Critical Orange Punch diary from me in the future!
