Wow well she has jumped up!! A week ago I scraped off a couple of inches of the soil/perlite mix and replaced it with brand new compost. My grows for the last few months have been unimpressive to say the least and I've been trying to figure out the problem. I've had a few theories but the one I've settled on is my soil. I think I need to change it much more often than I have been doing previously.

Hey hey growmies Week 3 went by without a hitch, however I transplanted a bit late, cause the roots of the plants to tangle, I had to snap a few roots, mainly the one from the Runtz pheno, she's a photoflower and will recover, the Wedding cake is already in pre-flower, so harming those roots would damage harvest. this is also the last week these plants will share the spotlight, they are now officially seperated from eachother. check back next week, ill go over my end goal of both diaries. Juli 26: begining of week 10

Another great week here. Defoliated the girls throughout the week. Continue to do well and very healthy. They drink a good amount but nothing crazy. The frost is unreal! It's even on the fan leaves! I have a picture that shows the frost on the fan leaves. I can't believe the smells as well from these ladies! Cherry smells are strong! I love smelling the plants and my fingers when I defoliate the leaves. Watering daily or every other day. Also adding water to to self watering pots as needed. Starting to use the UVB today!! 🤞😎 Gonna start now at 30 minutes a day for a few days. Then slowly increase as we move forward. They already have a lot of trichomes, as you can see, and I'll look to increase those. I plan on harvesting these girls at week 8 to save the terps as much as possible. Let's go!

I think she is a beautiful strain, but man is it a pain in the ass to trim here and there, and to LST. Her stems were always very fragile no matter what i did, not to break but to bend. Stayed short, and grew bushy, I couldn't get them to strengthen up. But overall I would say its pretty to look at and grows densely and might be worth a try.

This week is sunny 🌞 . Started giving Big bud. Watering 2-3 liters per plant.

Lst went well. She was all in the hips and limboed with ease. Gave her a top feeding of ecothrive charge for the intense training in the next few weeks. She bounced back from lst the next day and I topped her for the first time on the 5th node. It was a bit daunting as this is my first time topping. Looking forward to the next few weeks with all the girls. Seeing them grow into thick lush women. I am considering scrogging all these girls. It will be my first time doing this so any advice would be really appreciated. Also I will be super cropping them as I have never done that either. You can’t really do many things with autos, apart from watch them and lst. Photos are way more forgiving and I think I will be doing this type of growing from now on.

Week 4 and we're watching the grass grow. As Trichomes start to develop upon touch I smell a strong lemony limey smell, best way to describe it is a strong lemon Cleaner scent, it is a Very pleasant scent actually. The foliage is starting to fill back in a bit after the Defoliation. The free seed Pheno is doing amazing and handled and has recovered from the Defoliation quite well as well as the other phenos. The second larger Pheno #2 I've noticed in the past week some purpling of the stem and it's doesn't seem to have as fast growth as Pheno 4. I don't know if the purple is being caused by the Defoliation or if it due to the temp drop when lights are off which would be an average of about 68 degrees. I will continue to monitor to see how it has effected the plant of if it causing and color changes in the buds.

Its been very hot these past days in Ontario and the outdoor grow loves it! Plants have been growing nice and tall, growing some fatty leaves, I wanna see how they grow without any human interference so I will leave them without training for now. The soil is still providing nutes for the looks of it, I have started spraying some natural homemade pesticide you can find the recipes on my Instagram @girlgoneweed (under the highlights) I have been spraying 2x a week to keep rodents, aphids, mites, and mildew away. *The video is a dark angel as well but this one I have it on my roof garden.* Thanks for following along, see y'all next xoxo

I sure need to get used to the Auto way of growing. My methods and system with soil for regulars are not directly portable to cultivating auto's, so it seems. So what started out as a comparison/battle, is now just a normal grow, since it's not fair that the battlefield was tainted. It does seem the XL Runtz adjust better to my climate and growing style than the Forbidden Runtz. Also looking for ways to keep my tent cooler. Considering growing outdoor this summer with seeds started in the tent. It gets way too hot in here as it is now, with outside temps just at 10 to 15 degrees C. I'm just watering, alternating with a bit of BAC Bloom and Calmag, and some Topmax. From here I hope its some smoother sailing and hoping the other three will pick up some pace. The experience was good. Easy grow and attractive plant. I wouldn't grow autos with 1212 again tho. Only if in 20/4 because I think yield was effected dramatically. Maybe not, but in going to testit next veg cycle to tell. Beautiful plant otherwise tho. Violets and purple hues.
