🌳 Week 13: Well, they're happy... almost too happy! The canopies are filling up again and getting incredibly dense down below. Especially with the squatter, Indica-leaning strains, I'm honestly getting concerned that they might be too dense, and cause mold issues. We do not want that! So, they all came out of the tent again and got their most aggressive cleanup yet. I took more bottom branches off and made more clones, and then also just cut out some other smaller branches, particularly ones that were growing back inward or in some cases even crossing over others. The differences between the indicas and sativas are starting to become more apparent as the plants stretch, and some of the sativas are almost 16" tall. I actually ended up topping a couple of the very tallest branches before they stretched any further, again in an effort to keep the top of the canopy as level as possible. I'm also experimenting with using some wire rings as inserts to spread out the top of the canopy, and pretty pleased with the initial results.

Week 2 flowering for the girls! We already see the streching, some plants are a little smaller but i will put a support under the pot if they continue smaller, we want to have a quite even canopy. We also removed some lower branches.

Buds are lovely and fat and very sticky. The smell is very strong.

Northern Dragon Fuel has been growing good. She has gotten really hungry m, which caused my ph to start tracking upward. I have flushed it back down, and increased feed. Beside that it looks like flowering is right around the corner. Best smoke I've had in years!!!!

Day 1 drying: Really nice strain! Easy to grow, medium dosage of nutrients. Smells amazing, I’m really curious how they will end up after the drying. Let’s see in some days. Drying day 7: finished and damn the terps are amazing! Smells and taste amazing. It reminds me of amnesia but in a mix with mimosa. Super special. I do really recommend trying this one out. But I would recommend using living soil over coco!

Girls got topped this week. I decided to only top once due to the herming last time. But they are growing well after the transplant last week. I'm happy with the growth and we'll look to flip over the next couple weeks

So only after two weeks of curing these buds are becoming more and more refined! The texture of the buds is beautiful, it crumbles and grinds up effortlessly in my space case and is light, fluffy and almost “goopy” coming out of the grinder. I guess goopy is my description of ground bud that sticks together as it comes out of the grinder. It almost resembles goo or putty! That’s always a great indicator of a strain that has lots of sticky dank trichomes 😎 Now onto the high... I must admit, I was a little disappointed at first. I was initially caught off guard by how smooth the smoke went down, but usually after the first hit I feel something. After the first hit of this strain I didn’t, so I packed another bowl and sparked her up... not much different. Around 15min after my second hit I started to gradually feel a trippy/tingly full body buzz and strong head buzz come on. Once I sat down on the couch it’s like it fully kicked in and I really felt a truly euphoric full body high along with a head high that felt incredible. She’s definitely what some would call a “creeper strain”! To me though, the high is reminiscent of the first hour after ingestion of some top quality cubensis! In a nutshell the high is euphoric, energetic and crisp. I don’t feel groggy at all when I smoke this strain, I can be extremely productive with work and still articulate my thoughts with ease. I also noticed that I don’t get anxious in public and even though this strain is extremely uplifting and energetic I have zero issues getting to sleep at night. I could truly classify this strain as medicinal and I know if I was still a caregiver this would be on constant rotation! I will update more after 2.5-3.0 months cure!

Day 85. Few days ago I trimmed most leafy Northern Lights and she loved it ! So tomorrow two most mature Alaskan Diesels go to chop room. All other plants will get defoliation too, will have space to reach all plants. Third Alaskan Diesel is catching, but he is a week behind. Green Cracks will fall in 2-3 weeks, Northern needs at least 4 .... Will move my Bruce Banner's to main tent. I still feed Northern , but all other plants are on pure water. Day 86. Rearranged all girls, trimmed them heavy, gave new positions. One Northern lights is still in dark part of tent, I think I need 7-10 days til last Alaskan Diesel will mature and it will be only 8 girls left. Brought other diaries girls to main tent and added Mars Hydro SP150 as supplemental side lightning ... They miss height a lot compaired to older plants, so I hope it will help a bit . as the second week of June is just on it's end and the weather has had it's ups and downs with a lot of rain and some nice sunny days the plants keep growing day by day. The tallest plant reached a height of 86 centimeters or 33.85 inch so i'm getting close to the 1 meter mark. But hopefully they will grow much bigger as they have plenty of time left. Last year i a grew Blue Dream and a Chocolope in pots which reached a total height of 1,38 meter, which both yielded 30 grams each. What i should mention about the plants from last year is that the seeds weren't bought but came out of a friends weed. So this year it was all out with premium seeds, more knowledge and experience, great soil and hopefully the best weather
