Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Day 49 Flower Hey Growers. I did a flush last week to get my runoff closer to 1050. I’m not sure why this happens that I get tip burn doing FFW. Maybe I start ramping up flower nutes too much too quickly. I have tip burn on my Blue Dream too. I’ve gotta come up with a solution as it buggers everything up. Flushing and Dealing with tip burn instead of packing on size. This is a 10 wk strain so I’m not as concerned cuz there’s lots of time and I think I got ahead of it. The nugs are smaller, marble to golf ball sized but hard as a rock already. The smell is of over ripe lemon when it get that sweet and Hazey earthy woody characteristic. I’m going to feed 2 more weeks and try the Advanced Nutrient Overdrive that I have kicking around. Then flush heavy for 1 ish weeks and hopefully get a nice fade. The Vipar spectra XS2000 is doing a great job, it has me wondering if I could use it to flower a 4x4 of autos. Its super strong. My poor man’s light mover has the plants getting a ton of light every other day with a nice rest in between. There is no light burn or yellowing, a tiny bit of leaf edge curl that goes away during its rest day. I am very happy with this light and know it’ll blow up whatever I run in here next. And here we go into flowering week seven. The buds are looking impressive by now. I feel like they're starting to bulk up - hopefully, those internodal gaps fill in nicely. Temperature and humidity are stable. I aim for 25°C during the day, and at night, it drops to around 21.5–22°C. Humidity stays between 45–50%. I could probably lower it further, but that would make things too hot, so I trust my airflow and ventilation instead. On day 70, I noticed a couple of leaves showing early ‘autumn colors.’ I’m curious how much longer this will take. Plagron additives like Sugar Royale, Power Buds, and Green Sensation are said to accelerate ripening. DNA Genetics suggests 9–10 weeks of flowering, so it’s getting exciting. Amber trichomes are a must for this Kush diva! 😉 Some parts of the plant seem to be purpling! That’s interesting since nights aren’t particularly cold. Could it be phosphate-related? Light stress? Just the strain? The smell is changing more and more towards citrus - like a ‘sharp, earthy lemon.’ It almost reminds me of a wood polish! 😄 I'm gradually removing any drying leaves at the bottom, but other than that, there’s not much to do - just watering, keeping an eye on temp and humidity, and relaxing. Here we have herbies grandmommy purple , its my third attemt at indoor , so this plant and another plant got put in this after my first ever go at indoor failed so i got new soil cannaterra proffesional and put these in and once they both filled the tent i put this one outside until i got my new tent and swapped the plant over so she started to bud outside as its winter (tail end of it ) and then my new twnt arrived and i put this in here a week ago and she has been loving it , it was very purple from being outside in the cold but its slowing fading away and the other one witch is (grandmommy purple 2) has no couler just green

Semana 3 Del 31 de diciembre al 6 de enero Entramos en semana 3 desde el cambio de ciclo. Realizamos una defoliacion bastamte severa, será la ultima rn principio. Seguimos con la tonica de riegos de siempre. Sigue haciendo mucho frio y las temperaturas son bastante bajas. Minimas de 13°c y en ON rondaremos los 18/19°C Para ser semana 3 veo que todo va un poco lento, pero bueno, veremos como avanza. 5 de enero Los frios no cesan y lo estan notando bastante, creo que no se estan desarrollando al 100% o que tal vez vayan con mas retraso y la fecha de corte sera mas tarde de lo esperado. En estas cepas creo que cometi un error al hacerle el cambio tan rapido o mas bien que debi dejar que se hicieran mas grandes porque al hacer el cambio a 12h se han quedado cirtas para mi gusto. Rondaran los 48/56cm de momento, eso si, las 3 muy equlibradas entre si. Eso si que no sean grandes no quita no vayan bien. Las ramas de los satelites se ven muy fuertes y tienen pinta de que la mayor parte de los frutos partenocarpicos estaran en la porra central. Seguiremos informando de como avanza la cosa.
