4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. I will be taking two clones from each to breed over the next few weeks depending on when I am going to flip them. 4/3/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Veg (Day 61 overall) A little FIMing, A little Topping, and a Little bit of defoliation. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

8/3 Went over to treat the 10th planet that needed water with plant doctor around 10:30. I was in the garden at 6 but didn't have much time. That plant seems to be curled up or "droopy". It DID need water. I defoliated a few sep leaves off it but I didn't see any today. I guess I don't ever really see the leaves "up" or praying like I do with the rest of tge plants. It's starting to flower like the rest though. Today is the day everything is supposed to get its second or third plant doctor dose but I decided to wait until they need the water. I don't think 24hrs will mean much. I've been staying on top of defoliation but I'm seeing some pillar damage. I'd like to spray bt but what my buddy said about spraying with septoria is still in my head. Maybe I can use citric acid. That way it won't "wash away" spores it will just eat them. At least I think. And I hope lol. Birds get most of the pillars but I hand pick some too. I need to pick up nutes. Wondering if I should just get grow big again. I don't use much but plants are switching to flower and leaves are fading. I have big bloom and kool bloom bit neither have nitrogen. I still need some sort of nitrogen. Especially since that could be a deficiency. Not sure if it's the transition or a condition with the sep. I see some interior small leaves bleeding out and some dying. I'm wondering if what I thought was earwig damage years prior was really a combo of sep and they just ate the evidence. I'm super grateful though. I've got some resilient girls and they're doing well. The special kush in flower is gorgeous as well. Looks like I'll have an early plant. Short flowering time on this strain. Smells pungent. 8/4 Treated everything in the garden with plant doctor except the 10th planet I got yesterday. I need to take a closer look at that plant. It rarely looks "happy" like my others. I'll check it again later. 3tsp per gallon and 1gal a plant. The 10s got a half gallon. This seems to be working great. I have some defoliation to do on the tenth planet I was talking about earlier. Everything is in some form of flower. The flowers on that early special kush are getting bigger. I'll update this later. UPDATE: WENT BACK OVER AT NOON TO TAKE A LOOK AT THAT OTHER 10TH PLANET TO SEE IF IT PICKED UP AT ALL. IT DID. IM GLAD I CAME OVER TO CHECK THOUGH. MAKES ME FEEL BETTER. THE OTHER 10TH PLANET LOOKS HORRIBLE O. FILM FROM ONE ANGLE LOL BUT ITS REALLY A GREAT LOOKING PLANT AND IM USUALLY FILMING AT LIKE 6AM. JIST WANTED TO STICK UP FORCMY GIRL AND HER BAD HAIR DAY. ITS BEEN HIT AND A FEW OF HER LEAVES ARE TACOED. SHE GOT HER FIRST "PREVENTATIVE" DOSE OF PLANT DOCTOR WHICH WAS HALF A TSP/GALLON. IT REALLY SEEMS TO BE DOING SUBSTANTIALLY BETTER. EVERYTHING IS. IM HAVING TO LOOK HARDER AND AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING LEAVES EFFECTED BY SEPTORIA. KNOCK ON WOOD. IM EXCITED. THIS IS GOING BETTER THAN I THOUGHT. IM STILL GOING TO BE MONITERING LIKE I USUALLY DO. 8/5 Watered the 10th planet I dodnt get yesterday. Looked and didn't see any sep leaves. Phone was dead so I vouldnt do a video. Went back over at like 130pm and did a quick video and checked out the girls. Everything is looking good and transitioning well. I WANT to use a diy Dr. Zymes with citric acid as I've noticed a few pillars. Only reason I've hesitated is because my buddy said not to spray it. But if what I spray it with "eats" it I would think it's ok. But what do I know. Birds get a great deal of them. I watch them on the camera sit on the cage and wait for one to stick it's head up before snatching it up. Still need to get either more grow big or a bloom product with nitrogen. I was able to defoliate that other 10th planet of anything suspect. It's hard work but it's worth it in the end. 8/6 It's like 81 at 4pm. I didn't have time to video this morning but i went back over. WATERED EVERYTHING THIS BUT THE 50 AND THE 10TH PLANET I GOT YESTERDAY. Temps are supposed to pick up soon and it will be in the 90's again. We've had like NO rain. I searched for leaves that had signs of sep to defoliate. I may find one or two but for the most part things are doing great. Overall I'm happy. 8/7 Bought a new bottle of grow big. Wanted to switch to the roots organic teas but I cant do that invthe middle of an already complicated grow. I'll switch nutes next season. I'm noticing some pillar damage. Not much amd I've been hand picking them. I've found a few in curled up leaves. I watered the 10th planet in the front corner that didn't get it yesterday. I hope the watering yesterday will hold them until the morning. I'm still thinking about doing an application of diy Dr. Zymes to clear up any random pests. I'll ask a question and see what other growers on here have to say.

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary. I started the flush but noticed the leaves haven’t really been praying lately and some have been clawing. I’ve only been giving ph water since last week. They also don’t seem to be fading either 🤷‍♂️. Anyway I’m going to take them into week 9 and chop em start of week 10. By then maybe I’ll see some fading

Can autos thrive in a solo cup-sized fabric pot without stress? 2. Is it possible to reach harvest without bi-weekly top dressing of dry nutrients? 3. Skipping Cal/Mag—will it still work? For nutrients, here’s the plan: - Bi-weekly: Great White (until flowering) - Bi-weekly: Home-cultivated microbe solution (alternating with Great White) - Every feeding: Homemade liquefied dry nutrients (I'll document the process soon) What I’m aiming for: - A super simple KNF-style organic grow - A 100 to 1,000x reduction in dry nutrient usage - Consistent, quality harvests This is my perpetual medicinal plant harvest, and I’m just hoping everything stays on track! They took a while to all pop up, but we are on the way now!! Got them back in the tent as new grow space is still very cold.

Start of week 5. after heavy flash and run off correction i need to wait til it dries and dial up the root zone to stable 1.2 to 1.4 EC and 6-6.1ph I need to water @ 5.8 ph and 1.0EC to achieve yesterdays final runoff of 1.6EC 6.4PH Good thing i rescued her yesterday as i found some slight tip burns.

Was a pretty smooth week for most the girls. Showing some steady growth. I topped all of the plants around day 12 other than the slurricane 7. Ph got a little high since the nutrient level was too low to buffer it at the beginning of the week. Slurricane 7 and sugar cane are the ones that took some damage. I think they will be ok though. I upped the nutrients to 1/4 tsp per gallon and the ph has held stable since then. Should be able to start some training the middle of next week and looks like we might be going 2 more weeks on veg before flipping them to flower depending on how this upcoming week goes. Guess you will have to show up next week to find out...
