They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Wow. The gruntz is insane. I left for work and when I got back, WTF! The gruntz was touching the light. It wasn’t burning but wow we had to fold over the tops and put a net in to hold her down. It’s been 3 weeks of flower and this girl is still reaching for the moon! Nasha genetics ( we take freebies for the name drop!) whatever you do, holy cow. They are starting to hair up now. I think the gruntz could’ve filled the tent by herself but there are 3 other plants in with her. I’m wandering if the widows will get enough light. We might have to raise the pots off the floor. And with spring coming (well it keeps snowing here but they say it’s coming) we are getting busy with the garden and life. Anyways we didn’t do much with the gruntz other than water. Now that she is getting some hair we will top dress some build a bloom and or some craft blend, just to help. Around a tablespoon per pot. Over all it was a good week, we just hope the gruntz stops stretching soon. Wish you all the best. Spread some love and share some bud!

Start of week 10 and today I have noticed that she is looking a bit droopy so not sure what's happening ? I water her every other day woth roughly 1 to 1.5 litres and always check to make sure its dry before I go for the next round of watering, she has been lovely and healthy up to this point and 100% sure this is a photo not a auto so maybe thst might be the issue and she is crying out to be flipped on lights ?? Any suggestions welcome 😊

Another week of veg for our Fast Version A from super sativa seeds club. At the beginning of the week we gave some bactrex and orgatrex from biotabs. The plant is evolving good! Nice and green

Week 8 Veg – Go Big or Go Home! 🌱💪 Hey, Grow Fam! 🌿 What an intense week it’s been in the grow room! This was one of those “go big or go home” moments, and I decided to take it to the extreme. I’m holding off on flipping to flower for just one more week because the plants are filling up the space beautifully—I can’t help but push things to their limits and see just how much these ladies can give! 😎✨ This week was all about maximizing growth and creating the best canopy I can. I did a light defoliation, just here and there to open things up a bit, and then came the bending—LOTS of bending. 🌱 I’m working hard to create an even canopy, though with all these different genetics, we’ll see how close I get! 🤞 Regardless, I’m giving it my all, and I’m super pumped to see how everything will respond in the next stage. The final touch this week? I ended it with a bold 36 hours of darkness to prepare for the big flip next week—flower mode, here we come! 🌸 What Went Down This Week: 1. Canopy Work – Bending and training all over the place to try and keep things even. It’s a real challenge with different genetics, but the payoff is going to be worth it! 2. Defoliation – Just a little bit of leaf removal here and there to help with airflow and light penetration, prepping them for that final veg stretch. 3. 36 Hours of Darkness – Closed out the week with a full day and a half of darkness. The 36 hours of darkness is a technique I like to use to help signal to the plants that it’s time to transition from veg to flower. 🌒 By giving them an extended dark period, I’m mimicking the natural shift from summer to fall, when daylight hours start to shorten. This kick-starts the plants’ flowering hormones (phytochrome), helping them shift into flower mode more smoothly and quickly. In my experience, this method helps speed up the flip, reduces early flowering stress, and often leads to a more uniform bloom across the canopy. It’s like giving the plants a little nudge to let them know, “Hey, it’s time to bloom!” 🌸 This technique is especially useful for growers like me who want to maximize the efficiency and performance of their plants. 😊 4. This grow was educational. I had major problems not with just germination, but actually getting the seed to grow .... I am majorly pleased and happy over all... Her buds are super dank sticky icky... smells of fuel, citrus, earth, wood... visable THC/ Cannabinoid Crystal's all over her buds... her buds are THICK... MA2 definitely yielded more than MA1! But both plants very similar in "body type" she took longer than MA1, but shes definitely fatter... I can not wait to try this sexy hot mamma....

She is now a skinny 17 inches tall. Defoleated all the bottom crap and cleaned her up. A little newt burn last week at 600 ppm. I have raised ppm to 680 so she may not be happy come the end of the week. She will have to get use to it. I'm sure she will be fine. Added second light, so it should get interesting.

Neither has blown me away with their growth but, the conditions are far from optimal. RH is too low. 10&15% of fan leafs removed, 24-36hrs apart from pheno1 "topped" & 10% from Pheno 2 on Day 28 DIET Has been kept on a 3:1:3 / G:B:M Ratio. 635-670ppm feeds. 5.9-6ph. 15-16c temp. And once a wk. They get enzyme feed(s) each. Both are kept on the exact same nutrients and ppm/ph/sol.temp At the moment, I'm dealing with fungus Gnats aka fruit flies. Yes, they are somewhat harmless but the young feed off the fine root hairs, that and their disgusting. Hammering the shit out of them with Fruit Fly traps. Just waiting for all tops to dry. And will dose with DE "Pesticide version" is very fine and cuts into and kills larva without causing any damage to your plant or its roots. It's 100% organic and washes into the substrate.

Kept the same nutrient mix almost the same, have had to use some others just to get by until more rock up 🙃 Floramax Veg 1: 1000ml Floramax Rezin: 400ml Floramax Organabud: 400ml Floramax Flowering Enhancer: 400ml Cyclo Platinum Silica: 200ml ISN Cal-Mag: 400ml (still waiting on my main one to be delivered, so using what’s left of this) Green Planet Massive Bloom: 200ml Green Planet Bud Booster: 4 scoops (30ml each) Sleeps with the Fishez: 100ml — used some hydrogen peroxide today while waiting for the next batch to arrive next week I’ve been looking into a flushing additive called New Millennium Winter Frost for a nice clean finish. Pistils finally popped up yesterday on a few of the top sites! Should start seeing some solid stretch from LA punch soon, guessing around 30 to 40cm at least, who really knows right now 🤷‍♂️ I’m letting her do her thing and reach up into the net for now. If she starts getting crowded before the end of week 3, I’ll kick off some early defoliation. Also got two AC Infinity IonBeam S11 lights set up sitting about level with the top colas. I’m aiming the light to hit the middle and lower sections instead of blasting the tops directly, trying to get that nice even coverage. Still debating whether I even need to scrog this run, but a few people keep telling me to give it a go to see the difference, I guess only one way to tell 🙌
