This week I have made a video to show The progress over 4 weeks trying to be a bit different on GD! Hope you like! Was a little worried when this one didn’t pick up her pace but I gathered I had over watered and put a heat mat under her for a couple of days! And that sorted her right out! I have trained with pipe cleaners to hold those stems down as they allow the lower coverage to rise! Everything going smoothly! I hope you like buddies!

This was my first experience using Mapito and Ebb & Flow, together with the new LED light. The plant turned out to be unusually low. 👌 The variety is quite fragrant, but the smell appeared only in the middle of flowering. At the time of trimming, the plant smelled of mint candies 😁

Constructive interference is the phenomenon where two waves combine to form a new wave with a larger amplitude. This occurs when the peaks of one wave align with the peaks of another, and troughs align with troughs, causing their amplitudes to add together. For example, if two identical waves meet, their amplitudes will combine to produce a resultant wave with double the original amplitude. Constructive interference is a fundamental phenomenon based on the universal laws of nature, specifically the principle of superposition. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work. Oxygen is the alchemist's "fire"

20/02: The plants are overall reacting well to the larger dose of nutrients especially the ignitor - there are lots of bud sites throughout. I was under watering some plants which has resulting in wilting stems and leaves - will move onto 1 litre of water every other day from next week. 1 OG kush and 1 White Widow is lagging behind but we'll get there. Good strong stalks mostly for all the plants. Gave the a hefty defoliation this week also trimming the fan leaves and letting light penetrate the lower branches and bud sites.

At day 98 from seed, 52 days since the switch to 12-12, she is looking fine to me. Based on a 10 week flowering period, assuming it starts from when I switched her to 12-12, she is 18 days from harvest. If you assume the 10 weeks started when I observed the first flowers, she is 35 days from harvest. I'm guessing the actual harvest is somewhere in the middle. I'm guessing she'll be ready in more than 3 but less than 5 weeks from now. Time will tell. I'll mainly be using trichomes to tell when she's ready. For now, she's not even close.

21.11 Middle of the last week i start to saw that plants are giving sings on soon harvest(pistons darker color, curled in bud, trichomes (big transparent-cloudy, middle cloudy-amber , small also transparent-cloudy) From yestrday they are in rest and dark mode Didnt do water flushing becuse i am using bio nutrients, last watering 18.11 Environment in tent is solid now without light,lower temperature( 0-5°) and more humidity(50-55%) ,so thats good I will wake them up soon, but need to wake up myself in morning also😴 Gn 🥦🍀💚💆‍♂️ 23.11 After 71 day of which two days in darknes , looking for 40-45% humidity and solid temp 20-25 i did cutting part and take them in more darknes, for drying 😁🤤 24.11 Situation in tent is how i want, becuse of the smell in room is colder then it should be so humiditiy is bit lower ( now 47-51%) but temp is also low ,i hope that will do solid exchange with not drying to fast becuse of lower temp, they look more frosty after few days in dark, smell is better and more aromatic, but i guess when you grow in tent, it could not be intense smell like outside, on constant fresh air,condtitions in real time, but its good, checking every day situation with buds, 24/7 good good air flow in all directions , ifan and carbon filter also doing solid good job with killing smell thats going down the pipe outside. Whole run was very good and i didnt have much problems or questionable situation, setup from mars hydro did well and equipment didnt make any problems in work, nice amount of watts for 3 plants, good size of tent to work normaly, from 1 place reach everything you want, and yea biobizz soil and nutriens also show up quality and results, with good dosing of nutrients and accurate ph level, resault was there. I also see flaws and thing that i could do better, but in total i am proud on me for doing my first grow, think that this change perspective about lighting buds and enjoying them. Week 14 - August 13 Back from holidays. One week without carrying plants. All is Ok ✅ the Blumat irrigation system worked perfectly, Aphids are totally eradicated: the Garlic mixture is a miracle. 🐛I found 5 caterpillars on 2 plants: it makes lot of damage on a Bubble Gum I didn’t mention in the diary, but the other are safely. caterpillars are the Enemy N°1 at this point: must check everyday. Flowering stage not engaged. -GMOxZombie Kush, was pretty shocked by aphids and sunburn too but problems are resolved: the plant is not too bad, starting a pre flowering period. 115cm -Flash Back #2 start flowering. Perfectly healthy, no pests, diseases or deficiency. Gook stretch last weeks, lot of ramifications and booming sites.130cm -Brake Pad Breath is the most advanced with a flowering stage engaged since 2 weeks. Hey folks, sorry for the late week update. Life happens haha. I finaly water the plants today with the usual 50mL of molassas to 5 gal of dechlorinated water. I topped the leading colas and defoliated the plant a little. Next update I will be top dressing with 2-3tbs of 70/30 4-4-4/2-8-4 gaia green mix. I will also be topping off of the soil levels. Plants are very bushy!

See comments in videos. I will say, I am loving my AutoPots. It has taken a huge burden off the growing process, not having to water everyday or every other day. So much, that I have purchased a 4 Pot XL system for my smaller tent. Grow easier, with #AutoPotUSA.

Día 57 (16/12) CBD Auto 20:1 #1 ha empezado a bajar el consumo de agua... pero sigue creciendo! ¿Tendrá fin el stretch de esta planta? CBD Auto 20:1 #2 empieza a perder hojas por senescencia. Está a punto de cosecha!?!?!?! LSD-25 Auto está increiblemente dura y brillante. Un color morado oscuro casi negro OG Kush Auto ha bajado un poco el consumo de agua, pero empieza a formar unos cogollos monstruosos, completamente cubiertos de resina+ Día 58 (17/12) CBD Auto 20:1 #1 empieza a tocar la lampara! Vuelvo a subir la lampara.... Además presenta una ligera coloración morada en las puntas de las hojas... ¿Coloración natural o deficiencia de P? CBD Auto 20:1 #2 tiene un montón de hojas con senescencia acelerada de un dia para otro!
