So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

Hey guys and welcome to start of Week 8! 🌻 Today is day 21 of flower so i went ahead and cut most of the plats Fanleaves off. It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much. From now on they will be reseaving less and less Nitrogen going forward. I hope the colours come through as well 🤞🏻 Thanks for following along and I will keep updating the progress. Happy growing 🍀

Choped her down on day 73. Buds stayed a bit small because I got some ph issues on the early flowering stage. But still happy for outcome. Got some nice frosty stinky buds :) The smaller was 116 days old when cutted down. Got a few full branches of seeds too :)

Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Apologies for the large number of pics, but she’s so photogenic. 😎 #seedsman420growoff #seedsmanseeds

I decarbox it about 30 45 min on 230degrees grind it up real fine and then I double boil it with glass or metal bowl on top with 2 cups of water and 2 sticks of butter I boil for 3 to 4 hrs the longer the better. And I just use a super this strainer it's very thin made of rubbery plastic no cheesecloth for me lol and I drain super well and pour it in a bowl to let sit in freezer a hr and the butter hardens so I cant peel it off and dump the water. And vuala!!

Week 3 is starting off busy. Day 14 I finally got some Bone Meal. So, I added 2 more inches on topsoil. 1st I added 1/4 cup of Bat Guano ea., 1/3 cup Bone Meal ea., 2tbsp of Potassium Nitrate and Calcium Nitrate ea. Lightly mixed into top 1" of coco. Then I added 1-1/2" of Canna coco mix (perlite10%, worm casting25%) over top of soil. Then, I topped it of with cedar chips spread over both surfaces. Day 15, 12noon I watered both girls with 1/2Lt of 6.4PH water only. 8pm I decided to LST a couple of umbrella leaves each. Hope it helps with light penetration. There's a bunch of new growth under those two leaves. How does it look so far.... Day 18: Lot of changes... Switched my lights around. The TS-1000 made heat where the Pro2 Epistar 400W didn't. Was just a hunch but as soon as I changed the temp of the room went down 8degrees. The TS-100 was directly under the exhaust fan. Cool... Took the fan out and modified the base to give some more floor room, then added a humidifier. Was going to install a DIY Co2 generator but my silicone must he too old and didn't dry. I'll clean off, fix and install tomorrow. Ladies look great, I removed the LST wires from the two umbrella leaves. 2 days were enough to get the under foliage to grow past them. Watered 1Lt "water only" PH 6.2 each plant. Added some Epson Salt to foliar spray and cleaned off the leaves on each plant.

GIRL SCOUT IS THE ONE WITH 16 MAIN STEMS: MAINLINED WHILE TOPPING 4-TIMES Absolutely this one is the best one i've ever grown. this girl tastes just so amazing, and the bud formation was great and REALLY dense :) for a third grow also this was a pretty chilled out project, not much in terms of pests, deficiencies or whatever. loved the plagron grow+bloom (terra) and the PK booster (greensensation) here :)

F15 to 21 Tuesday Big big big. Humidity was getting hard to handle especially during lights out so I had to do a mid stretch cleanup. I mostly did a lollipop to get air flowing through the plant. I didn't go too hard even though it looks like I did. I will do the last one in a week. ~1000ppm 3/4-full bloom @ ~5.8-5.9 Lights 100% @ 7-12" 25-26c / ~53rh

Week 7 and 8 in the bag. One more light feed then the flush. Fall colors are coming in nicely and they are starting to purple up. They seem to have wanted a bit more water this week, had one plant start to droop before the watering but everyone perked up. Last dose of Great White microbes this week as well.

Week 15 days 99-105 . I'm am flushing all plants with 1 gallon of filtered water each. I've reduced the light cycle from 18 to 14 hours to reduce heat stress. It may reduce yield as well based on comments I've read in other growers diaries. An oz per plant would be nice. Of course more would be better but an oz makes a pound of cannabutter. Reducing the light hours is reducing the purpleness in the stems of og kush and gorilla glue but Purple chill still has purple stems The Natrona sisters spend their nights in the garage where the temps are 10-15 degrees cooler than in the day temps in the tent. Night temps ranged this week between 63-66 with rh 51-76%. The high rhythm comes after a rain. During the day, I'm keeping the tent open while circulating 2 fans. Day Temps can reach 80 so it gets hot in there. flooded each plant with 1 gal of water. From here forward I will be flushing all plants with filtered water at 1 gal for each plant every other day. Monday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo. This is a stress technique used to force plant phenotype colors. I don't think it will work for mine as I over fed. While I have 3 different strains, they look the same with blue green dominance. Thursday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo Saturday, flushed with 1 gal of water. Starting this flush, I added ice to the top of the soil before watering. See photo Sunday photos I'm not seeing any change in leaf or bud colorations from flushing out the fertilizers nor from the ice treatment. General comments" After putting the plants in the garage during the night, morning soil temperatures are within a degree of the night air temperature. This has been about 15 degrees cooler (50s) than the tent temperatures (75+). This week our weather has been unseasonably warm so the night temperatures have been 63-71 with Rh 51-70% Tent temps in the day 75-80 and RH 47-59%. Special thanks to @DreamIT for showing me how to add music to video. Check out my Gigi video above for a short clip.

Doing a good bit of defoliation this week. Really want undergrowth to start thriving. Using stem clips to space everything out. Day. 24 used tap water with ph of about 7.5. Soil ph down so using higher ph water with out ph balancing
