Day 42-49 (Day 43) I was at the dollar store today and I found the best little plant risers. And they all link together in perfect 12” squares. Fits in my tent perfectly and only spent 15 bucks. That should help the dry downs quite a bit. I’m going to transplant the euro genetics into 1.7g pots with amended sunshine mix #4 for their final containers. I moved all of the non-marijuana seedlings into a small greenhouse out of my tent so I have some more space and light per plant. I also set up an exhaust fan to keep the humidity at a perfect 65-70% night and day. (Day 44) Everything is looking a little nute burned and droopy. The garlics are showing signs of overwatering and nitrogen toxicity. They look like they want to flower so badly. Node spacing is weirdly short too. I picked up the American genetics to look for roots and they were busting out of the bottom. They’re definitely not rootbound as they’re not even a foot tall yet. This is likely from having soil that is too compact (from using too much rock dust and not enough drainage) causing my waterings to not even reach the bottom of the pot. This was also happening to my other grow. I will make sure to very lightly pack soil into pots for now on because you can always add more later. I’m going to fluff up the pots and see if I can loosen the soil a bit. If that doesn’t work I’m going to look at transplanting into 3g fabric pots and lightly shaking off most of the old soil. Luckily I added a shit ton of drainage for the euro genetics when I amended the sunshine mix so they won’t need a transplant. (Day 46) The fluffing didn’t do much. In fact it might have made it worse lol. I just went to the store and bought some Destiny Organics soil and have decided to transplant. I dusted off 90% of the old soil down to root ball which will cause an insane amount of stress to the plants. The plants started in the aero garden were being choked out by the shitty sponge plug it was germinated in. I took a razor blade and carefully cut them down the middle so the stem can expand. I might have cut a few major roots one or two plants. Other than that everything is transplanted. I cut all my amendments in half and I packed the soil very loosely this time. The situation is not ideal by any means but I’m hoping they will bounce back in the next week. This should at least set them up for a more successful flower. I can’t really expect much quality from botched run but who knows. I might come out with some fire. Since this is my last grow here I don’t even have to pay the power bill for the next few months! (I have a very generous landlord as he’s letting me finish my grow until mid September now 😂) (Day 47) I’m going to give them their first good watering and test my fluffy soil. I watered in approximately 700mls each making sure it soaks to the bottom of the pot. (Day 49) All the plants have bounced back except for the ones with root damage. They are still looking droopy and sad. The black garlic #1 has recovered really nicely and is looking happier than ever. The apical growth tip is so tight it has like 4 nodes within an inch somehow. I recently learned that hormones contained in kelp and seaweed extracts can act as plant growth inhibitors and shorten node spacing drastically. I only added a very small amount of kelp meal to the soil so it must be leftover from the previous foliar sprays Velokelp. I’m going to pinch the top off bg1 and see if the lowers can catch up. Sucks to do that so close to flip but oh well. The euros are looking fully recovered from their burn a little while ago. The sunshine mix is quite thick and water retentive as well but at least it has some extra drainage. They’re all looking quite healthy.

It has been very difficult keeping the temperatures down due to the hot summer weather. It has been over 90 degrees 3 weeks in a row here and I'm running lights during the day... bad combination. These plants haven't slowed down though...

OMG guys , won't believe the amazing progress my girl Cosmos has made in just her second week of flowering! She's like a shooting star, bursting with growth and vitality. And let me tell you, in the world of autoflowers, the second week of flowering is like the equivalent of a plant's teenage years. They're growing so fast, trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in, and just generally being a little rebellious. But with Cosmos, it's like she knows exactly what she's doing. She keeps throwing these three beautiful little shoots for each node, and they're just thriving! It's like she's saying, "Hey world, look at me! I'm growing like crazy and I'm not afraid to show it!" All in all, the second week of flowering with Cosmos has been an absolute joy. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks have in store for us. Who knows, maybe she'll surprise us with some even more incredible growth and beauty. One thing's for sure, with a plant like Cosmos, anything is possible! Finally this diary will be almost up to date...maybe one day delay ;)) On october 19 i moved my plants to my 140x142 cm. growroom. As i'm quite a lazy f##k i did not make any special nutrition feed for the Blue Cheese instead i used to water the plant with the same solution as for the DWC which is three times less then what i should use for a soil mix, thats the reason my Cheese shows yelowing leaves....I promise you i'll get her beck on truck soon ;) The powerful Mars Hydro TS 1000 is kept at 33 cm from the top of my plants is is running on full power. Day 79 17/09/24 Tuesday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Seeing good developments, buds forming nicely, divines are smaller denser structures but the buds are not lacking! Damn I'm surprised by 2L pots. Day 81 19/09/24 Thursday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 83 21/09/24 Saturday Another feed to push this week they seem to be handling it 💚. Fattening up on the buds now and pistils starting to mature. Day 84 22/09/24 Sunday (End of week) Damn!! Noticed I have leaf rollers!!! Damn caterpillar, from moths. So I have removed affected leaves and areas and this AGAIN will affect yeilds on all plants...but I have determined the strains I will re run ! Let's hope we make it too the chop 😅💚

New nodes who dis?! Well as you can see she’s loving every bit of her last nute feeding. I don’t plan on changing too many things other than the upping the micro/gro/bloom just a bit. Her roots are looking great. No deficiencies on the new growth. She has surpassed her sister in coco soil.

She's almost ready for harvest. Right now, she will be on plain water for six days. Next, I'll give her one final big flush, let the coco dry out, and then it’s chop time. This strain is looking very dense and is covered in a nice amount of trichomes. Most of them are cloudy now, with a few amber ones starting to appear.

Day 15(27.05)= Very well today. I watered the plants with water (ph 6.5). To water them I used 10% of the volume of the pot (0.65 liters per plant) Day 18(30.05)= the weather was very bad today. He started to hail and the plants were hit by the hail and a few leaves broke. I put the plants indoors to avoid damaging them even more. Day 21(02.06)= the weather continues to be very bad. it seems that the plants are no longer growing. unfortunately in this period they are taking little direct light because the weather is always cloudy. I hope the situation improves.

It’s finally getting a nice green colour This week I changed the scrog net , it’s about 7” above the top of the pots . upped the nutes to 1.8-2 ec. Sprayed with canna cure Watering every morning to about 10% run off Lollipoped an defoliated ,Waiting to fill the net a bit more but will be switching to 12/12 very soon.

It's week 9 of flower and she's been fed her last bit of nutrients. I'll start flushing with BushDoctor's SledgeHammer 2 tsp a gallon. Then just straight water until the chop :)

Saw spidermites setting up camp on the dark side of the plant on 1 bud site. There was no sign of them anywhere else. This plant is becoming more trouble than it’s worth and I’ve decided to chop her early after.

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is doing her thing. She is shifting into a bulking stage. She did show a major ph drop yesterday to today. She is likely due for a solution change. I will try to redo her solution this next week when I get a chance. Her smell has not really started up strong yet. I feel that will change over the next few weeks. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.
