Ok my friends, i have to end this growing season with a bit smaller wedding party than planded.. becouse nasty weddingcrashers who came have ruined the cake! (caterpillers, blackflies, spidermites and mold!!💀) At first i thought i had to cancel the whole party.. but i could, luckily, still save a small amount of buds...(very small, most of it i had to throw away 😿) Those i had, luckily, already cut off days before(tshtf)..i was affraid to vape it but(mayb make oil from it) luckily, when it was dry i could see it was safe enough to vape👍 ..its a pity but no worries, love conquers all! 😻 This cake is so sweet, gonna save this for xmas😇 happy growing for all ✊ smoke/VAPE REVIEW: Wedding cake is a beautiful name for her becouse my eyes are getting abit teary 😂..and i have a feeling of bliss and unconditional love for all 😘 Chronic pain fades to the background for a while too.. So far so good. Lowering the light was a bit of a mistake as the main cola started to show light stress. The main cola is 7" higher than the rest which is a bit of a PITA. I'll be much more aggressive with the LST next time around - comments on how to prevent such a taller main cola are welcome :) I've trimmed about a dozen or so leaves to get more airflow and I moved the LED strips up to support the middle section of the plant, seems to have helped (I think).

overfed with K so they are looking a little rough, so I will not be feeding them anything but water for the next week at least, see how they recover.

I upped the last feed and a couple of days later her tips were burnt so I gave her 4 litres of ph 6.4 water to get rid of some of the excess before her next feed. Been pretty busy lately but these girls just keep at it. I did go several days with out topping them off this last week, probably only had a gallon left of water in thier buckets when I switched to transition. Only problems is a little bit of light burn and maybe a little bit of pest damage on one of them.

Doing great, flushed her today with 5 gal of ph'd water and started a new feeding schedule as seen above I will alternate watering and feeding. One week water one week feed. I'll keep this gradually increasing the strength of nutes. As far as everything as a whole couldn't be better. Looking forward to her bounty.

Weekly update: August 6th Looking great, major spurt of growth on both girls, #1 (sativa leaning girl) had major final stretch to end off stretch in 3 days (hopefully). And #2 (stockier indica leaning pheno) has had a big increase in flower size in 3 days which is promising, and is also producing a very sweet and tropical fruity gas smell, this is TCP after all! Oh yea and I’m running about 1700 center 500 outer ppfd and tapering down if I see anything but nothing so far all good nice genetics, may drop in the next week even if no signs or symptoms, to prevent and not be too greedy. Now for the not so good… been getting 10% runoff almost every feed, but my runoff of #1 was 3500ppm and pH 4.5 and #2 at 5000ppm and pH 4.5. Been giving around 850 ppm input at pH 6.0, never went over 1000ppm input. So I have to correct with 25% increase in feed volume, 300-400ppm input at pH 7.0 for what I infer to be 2-3 feeds until runoff ppm is significantly lower, and pH is at least 5.5. UPDATE Aug 8: To address the toxic/locked-out root-zone I did a regular feed with runoff (1.5 gal total volume per pot @ 820ppm bloom focus), runoff consisted of pH 4.2-4.5 and 4000-6000ppm... OUCH. I then fertigated with 0.5 gal plain pH 6.5-7 dechlorinated tap water each. I repeated this a total of 3 times, to which the last flush had 3 ml/gal cal-mag. final runoff ppm @ 1000-2000, pH 5.3-5.5. To conclude, I more than likely wasn't achieving enough runoff per scheduled feed, and did not cycle a few plain pH adjusted waterings. I had almost the same thing happen last run with autos, except they were showing signs of lockout, these photo girls are not. I must do a regular watering every 3 feeds, achieve 20% runoff with high ppm feeds, and 15% runoff at least with mild to moderate ppm's. Lesson learned, I hope I get a full run in the future without hiccups like this. Basically I'm taking this as new hobby. I don't smoke but since I was 16 that I wanted to embrace a grow project. 18 years later, decided to get my hands to the work, bearing in mind that it should be as simple as possible. Ordered 3 easy bud seeds, germinated all 3, only 2 survived on the soil, mostly because of my technique. For me, it's all about learning so I did some experiences. 3 different soils, 3 different planting techniques and this is the result so far. The one that died, was due muddy soil, so she drown. No oxygen. Started this project with a simple indoor greenhouse, 160x40x60cm size, 2 daylight lamps 11 watts, 6300 kelvin and roughly 700 lumen each, 1 usb cooling fan. Distance from the lamps to the seeds +20 centimetres, which you can see on day 3, we had a lot of stretching (video). Nevertheless, started to see some life!!! Decided to take the project more seriously. We are now on the day 4, with a new setup. Adequate soil, carefully buried both plants in bigger vases and new lights. 4 cfl lamps, 1297 lumen, 97 watts and 6300 kelvin. I was about to buy the cfl pure light lamp 125 watts but found these cfl's at leroy merlin. I wanted to keep this low budget/experimental project as much as possible, therefore after doing some calculations I found that with these 4 lamps I would roughly get the same lumens and watts I would get with the pure light lamp.
