Seedlings 🌱 are doing great! They are looking very healthy and happy. Routine this week was was just checking the humidifier every morning, and spritzing with my spray bottle x2 daily (very small amounts) starting at the base of the plant, but also making sure to get the exterior edges to allow those roots to be searching for water. Changed the light cycle to 18/6 around day 7, and also adjusted my BloomPlus BP 2500 to have 140 watts at the wall. Didn’t lower the light as the increased wattage seemed to slow down the stretch they initially had. Still using my small 250 watt heater behind my intake fan to draw some heat in and keep the tent nice and cozy, even during lights out (about 75-76 *F) By day 14, I started to water with a measuring cup, still using my 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag plus. Watering only about 1/4 cup of water all around the pot, and will wait until the soil is dry’ish (the old finger poke) before I start to increase the watering amount gradually. Sometime around day 21 is when I will begin to introduce some nutrients, I will be using the Advanced Nutrients- Grow, Micro and Bloom along with the Sensi Cal Mag plus. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

Week 3. This is where the fun begins. The smell is amazing. The stretch is crazy and the stems are stiff like bamboo. There's no loss in terps. They're actually getting a lot stronger!!

Transplant was a success! Big girl has been moved to a 10 gal. Pot using the same soil mixture and within 2 days, despite me forgetting to use Mykos during transplant but remembering to mix in soil, she is happy as can be! The droopy leaves were certainly the indicator I needed to show she was ready. Her roots were even starting to grow through the bottom of the fabric pot but fortunately I caught it in time to be able to pull it off with relative ease

Hello This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week 5 of veg. This little plant was in need of water when I look in this morning. So it looks a bit wilty. Got a big drink as soon as I realized it. She's looking good other than that. Got a weird leaf mutation. Hope I get some more... I like different or strange. Makes life interesting. Last week only lots of tap water for my Mexican Ladies. Her leaves got a bit yellow but that was expected and planned. Today was the day to thank them for their service and I cut them both down to drie, with all leaves included except for the fan leaves. Can't wait to see and test the results! She is not a heavy packer, in weight it won't be a lot but I am aiming for Quality > Quantity 😏

acho que ainda consegui produzir uns tricomas com as correções da água, mas como o estágio da floração já estava bem avançado, as folhas começaram a descolorir muito cedo, tive que colher 3 plantas precocemente, as outras 3 menos vou tentar seguir mais 2 semanas, não estão mostrando tricomas Ambar ainda!

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great week. The Glueberry OG is still hanging in there, she is only 10 inches by week 5, but she appears to be fairly healthy. I did some LST this week, mainly readjusting the uppermost mains to try and allow the lowers to catch up. I did go out of the state for a few days and when I got back the PH in my reservoir was at 7.1 which is way too high. I miscalculated how much it would rise while I was gone, I should have had someone swing by and check it, but i will next time. Fortunately it doesn't appear to have affected this Glueberry OG as all her leaves are still lime green. It did affect the Strawberry Banana from Fastbuds slightly, as the lower leaves have a couple rust spots but nothing major. Fortunately the two youngest plants were not even hooked up to the reservoir yet. I am still very pleased with this Medic Grow light, as I still have her on the V1 Spectrum at 60% now and she is keeping the plants short and bushy. I believe this Glueberry OG is about to start stretching maybe this week or next at the latest. I will do my best to limit her height as much as possible, as this light is way too powerful to have her colas getting any closer than 10-12 inches at most. Not much left to do with this Glueberry OG except continue some minor LST to keep her level, and determine when to switch to flower nutrients. I see many growers switch to flower nutrients as soon as they see pre-flowers, pistils, etc, but I disagree with this method. I continue feeding veg nutrients until I see my lady stop growing vertically. The reason is if you cut off the nitrogen too early she will stop stretching and just produce flowers, so the length of her colas will be GREATLY reduced. If I am running out of vertical space during the stretch, I will make the switch a little early. First grow since 2020, with around 250 grams for an outdoor which has kept me going as I'm not a big smoker. No option for outdoor this year so with summer coming to an end indoor it will be in my tin garden shed. Bit of a heat wave this week but likely to cool down by the time I plant. Then just hoping the weather gods are nice for the next 4 months. Not too hot. Not too cold...just right🙄 Soaked seeds last night and now in paper towels. Planning on 5 plants anyhow, will veg for 4 weeks and flower for 9 to 10 or whenever ready. Hoping to harvest early winter before it gets really cold. Coco coir perlite mix this time and using the whole Mills range. Should be fun anyhow. Not expecting the same rewards of my last outdoor, but anything over 100 grams I'll be happy with. Anyhow, as far as germination goes I have 5 seeds to play with. In a glass of water for 8 hours, then paper towel in a zip lock bag in a warm location, including my pocket and next to me sleeping. Within 24 hours 3 of the 5 had germinated. I have doubts that 1 of the 2 remaining will germinate at all as it's a small mongrel seed but who knows. Update...all seeds germinated even the last mongrel seed. I like keeping em warm, in bed with me, in my pocket when cold and not in bed. The last seed that I didn't think had a chance from the start popped 2 days after the rest, after I put the zip lock bag with the paper towel in my pocket for a couple of hours. 100% ain't bad that's for sure. Every time I grow I do the same thing, no u may not see this method recommended but it works for me. Last few grows I've germinated them in my underwear, while wearing of course. Nice and warm thats for sure, maybe its the fluctuation 🤣 Go on, do a google search on the underwear germination method, doubt any hits will be found 🤣

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. This week, I started defoliation and tying down. So far, no signs of pistils. The smell is beginning to emit. PPM remains at 1000, and the pH is 5.8. While waiting for the harvest, I'm enjoying the last Rosin I made.
