Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Plant 1 is starting to fatten up nicely , if I had to guess its got about 3-4 weeks left yippee... Plant 2 is basically almost ready she is eating herself slowly , I'd give her about a week or two will see , all trics are milky so I don't know if I want to do amber as I have never tried a full milky sativa before .. Also plant 2 went much faster than I expected 10 to 12 weeks but now seems like its done... Obviously more of a hybrid pheno then ..the white pistols you see are just new ones that poped up the past couple of days.. Plant 3 is dying off unfortunately have no idea why..

Day 77 - I have spread the branches even more to create better airflow and now I'm happy how she looks and the buds getting fat and frosty. She will be a frosty beast 😁

Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

Girls had a great week at summer camp! Smiles are found everywhere regarding their new homes. Plenty of room to grow and wiggle their toes in the amended formula 707, which is doing what was expected retaining moisture nicely, bringing the watering to a minimum. All three girls received merit badges for hiking(survived transplanting), water sports(2 liters), light tolerance(supplemental lighting), physical fitness(color and strength)and kite flying(added a fan). They are all looking forward to this weeks activities. Girls seem to like what they’re getting at the chow hall, green and growing daily, strong and upright. Plenty of good stuff in the soil. A fan was added and the benefits are three fold, dry out the top layer of soil, pest control, makes them stronger. I will update as needed. ***update, the girls are looking good this morning, well rested, well nourished, vibrant. Their roots must be really liking the 707 as evident by the rapid growth. Measured them this morning with the H. W. At8 in. the V. F. at 8.5 and the 91 Grapes at 10 in. And at least an inch wider as well. No water will be needed today. Note. The greenhouse may be better suited for growing mushrooms than cannabis. Pine trees and shade. No direct sunlight until after 2pm. Dappled sun all morning long, so installed a T-5 4 foot ArgroLed 6550(k) daylight led fixture above the girls. That was a bright idea! ***update, New Video includes new homemade lighting. *** update, new videos. Before 7/14 After 7/15 videos of the girls being sprayed with a folier dose of silica. I had forgot to add the silica on Sunday when I had watered them and they needed it! I would not be able to water them again until at least Friday so delivered it via a foliage spray. Worked wonders , will apply again in a week. These girls are almost done!!!!😍. Some purple coming out. No sign of amber trichomes, and most are turning cloudy. I will likely harvest sometime next week😜.

7day - One of the bushes turned out to be a hermaphrodite, removed it away. buds fatten up now, The hydro plant is destroying the soil completely, the buds are 3x as big lol. i started this grow during the cold winter temperatures, thats why everything got slowed down a few weeks. i expect to harvest withing 2-3weeks from here.

Start Week 13 - Day 85 07/27: The ladies are looking good. I believe Aaliyah has a few for weeks before she’s ready. Alexis is about a week behind and Annie is about two weeks behind. I had a few problems last week that I’m hoping don’t mess everything up. Annie took a bit of wind damage. Aaliyah has a herbal/earthy smell on her and it’s increasing, but is still pretty minimal. 07/29: Did some measuring and noticed that the ladies’s main colas all measure at about a foot long. There’s going to be a good amount of bud coming out. The burns on Annie have worsened. Now I’m thinking it might be the light, but there isn’t anything I can do about it at this point. Hopefully she pushed through.

Everything looking great. I'm adding pk13/14 starting today at 2ml per gallon for the next two weeks. Leaves starting to sugar up, smells piney and amazing.

Very pleased with the state of the Chemdawg bonsai, the ceramic cupcake reveal is working nicely. Still need to clean up those roots once they firm up a bit. She's also starting to show pre-flowers now. Meanwhile, the main Chemdawg is looking great, the octo-colas are shaping exactly like I hoped, and she's mostly outgrown the overwatered thing. That said, she's a very fast grower and I'm running out of horizontal room. I'll probably need to top her again just to slow her down compared to her tent-mate (Lemon Tart Pucker, growing in a much more indica fashion). Tent is still holding at 600 PPFD, 82 F (28 C) daytime temps, target VPD of 1.0. Did another Rootwise soak across the tent this week, plants seemed to enjoy it.

That’s a wrap! Wow some really sizable nugs. Paid off to wait to stress train til later on as I feel like this plant had a lot more size and cola count to her than her sisters harvested a few weeks back. A treat to grow! On to the next 😘

I was planning to trellis net this tent, but unfortunately I’ve had to water these with a lot of runoff as I had a lot of buildup in the soil. The Recharge magic powder fucked my PPMs all up so I switched back to just the Pure Blend Pro and a little kelp/humic juice every 4 waterings or so. Anyways, I don’t have a convenient way to get rid of runoff right now so I need to take the plants out to water. so I can’t trellis. I have some drain trays on the way so maybe that’ll help

Alright, so I flipped her a couple days ago and she's staying in the big tent for obvious reasons... this should be a big girl... Now i've kept her in veg for longer than the dots say, but she has not been lacking anything , but if she starts asking for stuff, I will have it for her.. i still have some green sensation for late flower, as well as some other bloom boosters, and if she needs nitrogen, I got her there too, but I have a feeling she's not gonna need much aside from a tea here and there...
