She is taking very well too the scrogging not getting stunned from all the bending and massaging. I think that’ll be her last week of veg. Alright, these ladies are mid way through week 7 day 52 of bud. Just 3 days ago i started the flush stage for these plants even tho I’ve heard 1000x that it’s not necessary for organic gardens. I still do it just because. So these ladies got fed 2gal each of plain PH corrected water. With no sugars of any kind added. They all seem to be flushing out very well with most of their leafs turning yellow with purple on the tips. If you see any crumpled leafs it’s from last week when I noticed my soil PH had drifted to high. So I’ve been trying to correct it but these ladies are just about done so I’m not to worried. It looks like we got 1 week left on the Train Wreck and maybe 2 weeks on the OG and the Melato. The Train Wreck actually looks ready to chop down now but when I got up close with a jewel scope I saw that her trichome development is only at 50% cloudy and 47% clear with maybe around 3% amber. So I’m sure she will be ready by the day 58 mark but the OG and the Melato will probably go to around day 65. 6/19 Knowing it was going to be over 100° for the majority of the day I WATERED the garden with 3 1/2 gallons. I went to check around 4 and everything looked amazing. We got some hard rain from a thunderstorm at 4pm but it seems like these girls like it rough and did fine. The take a beating and come back stronger. Knock on wood but I haven't seen any problems on the plant I snapped amd dict taped.. Everything seems to have toughened up and the leaves are an awesome healthy color. They grow observable every day now. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 100 again for most of the day before weather goes back to semi normal. I took a video but it will take way to long to upload. Tons of other pics didn't upload either. 6/20 Another day that's going to be over 100°. Plants seem to love it lol. I can't believe what I'm seeing. Bags still had some heft so I didn't water this morning. I figure I'll check them around noon and then plan on watering tonight if they need it. Hopfully they'll get some rain from thunderstorms. This crop has been through a lot. I think that has helped them significant deal with this unpredictable weather. 6/21 We had a MAJOR thunderstorm with sheet rain yesterday. I missed it but it was intense. I saw some videos. First time dad seemed concerned. Fortunately there was no damage. I was going to water today but I decided to hold off due to the look of the plants and the "praying leaves" at 4pm and feeling some moisture in the soil. Bags seemed to still have some heft. I'll probably water tomorrow. Need to transplant the 1 gals and need to figure out what I want to do for nutes this year. So far I've put in much less effort and I'm still doing great. I just don't have as many plants as usual. 6/22 Rained last night. Not much but the bags were heavy still so I held off watering. Plants looked happy and I can fix under watering much easier. It will rain tomorrow. I'll check throughout the day and update but things are going good. I should transplant those 3 seedlings in 1 gals. 6/23 It Rained last night and is suppised to rain today. It was raining when i went over. Just the kind if rain the plants love. I'll check again before church but I'm eventually going to have to water them. Those thunder storms helped a lot. 6/24 Rained about an inch yesterday. Plants loved it. Bigger everytime I see them. One seedling showed a pistol and I'll transplant it with the rest. It was the only one I was worried about. I've seen a FEW leaf hopper punctures and some other bites that could be anything. Time to get the ipm 6/25 Looks like its gonna be a nice sunny day. 75° at 10am. Plants are doing amazing and growing at a rapid pace. Haven't done anything ipm as of yet but any damage I've seen is localized to "A" leaf on "A" plant. I'll be paying attention and watching for signs of deficiencies. As of now though they LOOK great. I'll try to transplant the 3 seedlings today.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... FBA 2025 turned Frostbanger was a fun grow in many ways. First, my friend gifted me the seed and I grew outside while she grew inside. It was fun to watch the plants grow in different settings and different growing methods. If you have been following me, then you know our weather has been crazy here. We have had lows of 50* and highs of 90*. We had a hail storm and lots and lots of rain. Today, I was. forced to take my Frostbanger down. I found a couple of buds rotting and it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days, so this grow has come to an end. But first, true to Frostbanger's description, "Just keep in mind, this strain’s dank, pungent odor is super strong—meaning a carbon filter is a must to mask the aroma in any grow room and she’ll make her presence known when grown outside" and boy did my backyard smell. Also, just like its name, it is a "trichome-studded beauty." Sticky, sticky, sticky. It also had a nice fruity smell, almost like a cantaloup. I like to wet trim, so I spent the past 2 days trimming. My wet bud weight is 102.19 ounces. Not A big harvest. Had to throw away some bud rot and I had to take this plant down early --But that is how a hail storm, cold weather, hot weather, Rain and more rain will effect a harvest. I'm happy to be somewhat successful. FYI: today's weather: It has rained 2.05 inches in the past 24 hours and expecting 1.6 inches in the next 24 hours.. I am pretty proud of Frostbanger's cola as it is 10 inches long and approximately 9 inches around. Wish I could have seen it with 2 more weeks of growth. I may not have the growing experience of others, but I am super happy with this grow and glad I could enter a contest. It was fun!

All right today's day 50 and this girl is rocking and rolling... She's about half the size as I used to growing but I'm used to synthetics so for an all organic I'm happy because I can fit more plants in my tent.. with that being said she's also in less than 2 gallons of soil she's at 23 in and she is frosting up nicely... Orion F1 Liquid Nutrients grow. 31.5.25: Well, this week has been pretty dull 😅 I was hoping to have something to report on by now. I guess maybe next week 🤞 I've just been keeping the pot watered. I watered twice this week, with about 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Once; I used 1ml/2l of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids, the other watering I used .15Tsp Ecothrive Biosys. ☆ Xpert Nutrients PH down, up to 1ml. ☆ Ecothrive Neutralise 1 drop per litre from the 1ml pipette, which is attached. This is my dechlorinator. I am planning on either topping or FIMing both plants. Things have really begun to take off now. The two toofless aliens are pushing 2 foot tall and have begun their apical cola growth. Side branches are starting to catch up with the tops and flowering mode is in full effect. The two alien vs triangle, one shorter and bushier the other taller bud still wide, have almost begun apical cola blossom and sitting around a foot and foot and a half. Excited to see their progress over this next week as they begin blooming more heavily. Have added snow storm and carbo load to my arsenal and the combo alone in a airated tank will produce bacterial growth with a clear tea brew! Love it, will use this for pre flush watering from now on with a little molasses i can tell it will work wonders!
