No escape with the weatherโ€ฆthis may be her last week because of the high humidity. If not I risk losing the entire plant.

1st week 2nd day - Gelato popped through, removed water bottle. Swapped intake and exhaust fans about to get new fresh air from outside. Used diffuser to raise humidity and ice cubes to lower temp. Intake running on full, exhaust at 70%. Cookies popped through. Removed water bottle. Misted tent and lightly top watered. Intake at 70, exhaust at 50 for overnight. Diffuser to hold humidity. Day 5 - First watering - 1l ph water each. Misting tent throughout day. Day 6 - Added 180mm cyclone fan for air movement. Removed runoff. Both seedlings doing well. Slightly further development on cookies.

This week was a busy one in the gardens! After a 7 day dry my harvest from last week was ready to come down! It did dry out a little quicker than I'd like, but still went in the jar around 57% and still smells really terpy and not like hay. I kept the humidity around 50-60% in the dry room however I didn't supplement humidity with a humidifier, i do have an ACI humidifier, but I didn't wanna run it in the summer and accidentally mold the crop! I just ran my dehumidifier at that setting so maybe it got a little dry in there! I trimmed all 5 plants in one day to prevent over drying in about 13 hours. I used a trim bin, trim brush by canna brush and a normal pair of springed shears. I'm curing in Mason jars now. I was able to move the plants in the tiny Mars Hydro Clone tent to my flowering tent. My Vivosun 4x8x6, under my HLG Blackbird at setting 1 to get adjusted. This week I'll get my par meter back from my grow bro and get a good reading. Im going to be transplanting these plants to their final containers as soon as I hit the local grow shop and grab a little more soil! After that I'll adjust the par for full veg and let them really rage! It feels good to finally get some space for them. My larger tent is way better equipped ventilation wise as well, I have 4 clip fans and my 8 inch exhaust fan in there. I currently have the tent sitting at 74-71ยฐF and 56% Humidity. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This Seedling has a decent internode spacing between it's branches and is keeping them mostly even with very little low stress training. I have been bending the top most branches to help the plant get a little bushier! It's leaves are very dark and doing a little clawing so I'm holding off on the Trinity by Roots Organic! It doesn't appear to bad! It's main stalk is very thick and reminds me of Raspberry Ripple #1! When it's in veg! I'm excited to see if this plant is one I'll keep around or not! I'm definitely hoping it's stretch in flower is containable in my shorter space! Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- The Number One Phenos are looking beefy already, one plant is starting to yellow just a little bit and looks like it could use a transplant here soon! Other than that these ladies are raging as usual. The higher ppfd has kept them really bushy and symmetrical. The Number 2s are still looking really healthy but are the smallest plants in the garden as usual! Finished Flowers (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- This harvest definitely hits a lot harder than my last one! Having the microscope to really get a good look at my trichomes and pushing the plants and extra two weeks really made a big difference! Ripple #1- These buds are big and purple! Decently frosted! The leathery, black licorice smell Ripple #1 gives off, is really strong this round! The harvest weighed 7oz 25 grams, 6 oz and 16 grams of "A" Nugs, and 1 oz 9 grams of popcorn buds! Ripple #2- The Ripple #2 is a little less dense than the #1 but it is pretty frosty and smells like a mixture of yogurt and hazy weed. This harvest weighed 5 oz 20 g, 4 oz and 6 grams of decent sized nugs and 1 oz 13 grams of popcorn nugs. Giving me a total harvest of 13 oz and 17 grams, 10 oz and 20 grams of "A" nugs and 2 oz and 23 grams of popcorn nugs. In a 4 x 4. That pretty much sums up the harvest and this week! Thank you for checking out my growdiary! -Starfish

July 27: start of second week of flowering and she is really stretching the last few days. Looks good. It seems this F1 Fast plant is indeed quite fast flowering. Until last week, there was really no size difference with my other photoperiod that was started at the same time (Euphoria) but this Blueberry Pie is now about 7 inches taller. With the flowering started last week, she should be done in early September which is great. We run out of strong enough sunlight before it gets too cold in October and the earlier the finish the better. July 28: watered with Monster Maxx last night and with molasses this morning. Still misting leaves to counter low humidity during daytime. Watering a bit more than a litre several times a day as needed. July 29: looking pretty dark green today and growing strong. Fairly hot again at 27 C so extra watering and grow bag spraying again. Iโ€™ll try to stick to water here for a bit to make sure sheโ€™s steady and not being over fertilized. Iโ€™m thinking sheโ€™s doing really well and this could be quite a big yielding plant. Weโ€™ll see. Aug 1: about 28-29C today so pretty hot again. Bright strong sun all day and they were a bit wilted when I got home in late afternoon. Quick watering and misting with hose water on leaves got her back looking happy in no time. Probably 7-8 L per day when hot which might seem low but the bacteria from the compost tea work to retain water and you donโ€™t need to water so much.

๐ŸŒธ Sundae Driver โ€” Week 9 Flower / Week 12 From Seed When the plant decides itโ€™s timeโ€ฆ you listen! Another beautiful, crazy, unforgettable week in our Sundae Driver adventure! The tent has been full of aromas, colors, and emotions โ€” and this week brought a little surprise twist. Our Pheno #2, the bold one, the heavy one, decided she couldnโ€™t hold her own weight anymore and literally bowed to gravity. When I arrived, half of her was on the ground, saying: โ€œItโ€™s time, my friend. Harvest me.โ€ And honestly, she was right. Perfect trichomes, perfect colors โ€” it was exactly her moment. So, we harvested her with love, laughter, and respect. Sometimes, nature tells you what to do, and all you can do is listen. We didnโ€™t dry her whole as we usually do โ€” since she broke herself in half, we had to go with a different approach this time. A reminder that every grow has its own personality and surprises. We took it as part of the adventure and had a good laugh about it โ€” because in the end, thatโ€™s what growing is: learning, adapting, and enjoying every step. Meanwhile, her sister Pheno #3 is still standing tall and absolutely shining. Sheโ€™s thriving under the LUMATEK, with her buds swelling beautifully, trichomes sparkling like sugar dust, and her structure holding strong (for now!). ๐ŸŒฑ Nutrients & Environment This week weโ€™re keeping the mix balanced โ€” still using the Plagron PowerBuds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation, together with Aptus Regulator and CalMag Boost. Our pH sits nicely around 6.1, EC around 0.7, and the soil is still rich enough to carry the girls through these final stages. Temperatures hover around 28ยฐC, humidity slightly high at 60+, but both phenos have been adapting beautifully. ๐ŸŒฟ About the Harvest For Pheno #2 โ€” the early harvest wasnโ€™t planned, but it turned out perfect. The trichomes were milky with just a few ambers, the aroma intense, and the density incredible. This shows that sometimes the plants truly know best. Her colas were so heavy they couldnโ€™t stand anymore โ€” thatโ€™s a good problem to have! ๐Ÿ’ช Super Crop & Structure The earlier super crop training clearly paid off โ€” the buds on the bent tops were some of the thickest and frostiest of all. Itโ€™s beautiful to see how resilience leads to strength; those stress points turned into power centers for growth. ๐Ÿง  What to Expect & What Not to Expect โ€ข Expect Pheno #3 to keep maturing beautifully over the next week or two โ€” trichomes are developing wonderfully, and aromas are getting more complex by the day. โ€ข Donโ€™t expect her to rush. Sheโ€™s taking her sweet time, and thatโ€™s perfectly fine โ€” every flower deserves her full moment. โ€ข Expect me to keep double-checking the branches โ€” after what happened with #2, Iโ€™m making sure no more girls decide to โ€œself-harvestโ€ behind my back. ๐Ÿ˜‚ ๐Ÿ’ฌ P.S. โ€” About Holding the Weight For those reading this โ€” always support your branches properly during late flower! When the buds get heavy (and believe me, they will), the stems can only handle so much. Itโ€™s always better to tie, stake, or net them before nature makes the decision for you. Trust me, itโ€™s a funny story after the factโ€ฆ but quite the shock when you find half your plant bowing to the floor. ๐Ÿ’ฌ P.P.S. โ€” About Super Cropping & Experimentation For anyone afraid to try new techniques โ€” this is living proof that super cropping works beautifully and that plants are incredibly resilient. Donโ€™t be afraid to experiment, to bend, to learn, and to adapt. Each grow is a new journey, and your plants will always reward your courage with lessons and beauty. ๐Ÿ’š Final Words & Gratitude As always, I want to send a massive thank-you to everyone following this journey โ€” the readers, growers, dreamers, learners, and friends who stop by the diary. Your presence, comments, and good vibes make this all worthwhile. A special thanks to Zamnesia for the genetics, LUMATEK LED for the incredible light performance, Plagron and Aptus Holland for the outstanding nutrients and additives, and of course TrollMaster for helping keep everything perfectly dialed in. And to everyone out there โ€” whether youโ€™re just starting or have been growing for years โ€” remember that every plant, every week, every harvest teaches something new. The plants are growing at a good rate now and drinking a litre each per day. I feed them by hand and each plant gets 2litres every other day. Didn't do anything else this week other than install the trellis on the last day. Love the way these genetics grow and fill out the tent. When I was growing the mother in the pheno hunt I remember remarking how well this plant took to being topped. These 2 plants are front and right in the timelapse video.

The weather's finally starting to warm up. It feels so good to have the sun out and to open the windows. With all this extra sunshine, my pound cake plant is really taking off! It's growing so fast, and it's starting to look really full and healthy. I can almost see tiny buds on the ends of the branches - maybe it'll even have flowers soon!

These ladies did'nt stretched much so far in week 2 but that could be due to the light intensity and distance I had it at in week 1 of the stretch period. This strain is really starting to show signs of that Gassy, Sweet, Creamy smelly that I was looking for and so far these ladies have been a breeze to grow.
