The start of week 5 is going well. Blueberry is smelling nice and my seedlings should be showing preflowers soon.

This flowering week 4 is full of pleasures. 91 Octane is producing her trichromes as much as she can - I’m so happy with it. Banana Daddy is following to bloom like 91 Octane, her pistals are taller than previous week enormously - I’m so proud in that. Sugar Cane, the last baby, starts showing her pistals today. So in the next upcoming weeks I‘ll see the flowers of my three girls, can’t wait to see them As I’m a beginner in this growing, I’m so in love with this very much.

The Bubble OG plants are looking awesome! My tallest one is stacking up with super dense buds. It's crazy to think that the other one is almost ready to chop – the colors are so vibrant. And then there's that short and squat one with the purple leaves. It's definitely the oddball of the bunch, but I kind of like it. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

***Video Added March 14th*** March 13, 2019 Update: We’re getting to the end of the road here. DinaMed and all three Cherry’s were cut down on Saturday and hanging. The Critical+ and Cream & Cheese CBD are flushing with straight water and will be cut down this weekend. I’ll be taking samples of the DinaMed and Cherry to the local dispensary for potency testing this weekend. Pics were taken both with lights on and lights off. I used a flash when the lights were off. The first round of pics are with the HPS off and the flash on, the second round is with the HPS on and the flash off. I probably won't update this diary again until I have the test results back and final dry weights for all plants - 10 days or so. 🙏 p.s. I'm starting a couple new diaries next, check em out! 👍

Pollen was dropping like crazy as the male flowers got ripe and ready. The females got good and coated and fully pollinated. I harvested the males to collect and preserve the pollen. Some dried and I veiled it up. But the bulk majority is still drying up. I left just the bottom portion of the male kicking for some extra pollen well the females throw off. Week 3 Day 2 8/27/2023 Topped her a little and took a little from the bottom. The PH was just a little high so I added 4mil PH down to get it to 5.86. Week 3 Day 3 8/28/2023 Topped her a little and just enjoyed her beauty. Week 3 Day 4 8/29/2023 Topped her a little, and started cleaning up the lower 1/3, I am starting with the fan leaves that are touching the clay and some of the lower, lower portion but leaving the stems for when I take clones. Week 3 Day 5 8/30/2023 The temp has been getting to 79-80 the last few days and I don't like it that high. I lowered the light to 29 inches and decreased intensity to reach the 350ppfd for the plants. By dropping the light it should also drop the temperature. I took a few bottom leaves as I start my clean up, leaving the lower stems for clone material for now. Week 3 Day 6 8/31/2023 Found out why the temp had been getting so high in my tent and my grow room, the controller for my other light for my other tent was malfunctioning and overheating. I guess this was the unknown contributing factor to the sudden increase in temp, how am I sure about this, because the light no work no more. I am working with Spider-Farmer Warranty since the light was under a year old, very sad day yesterday was to replace my SE 7000 on my breeding plant which was in week 9 of flower with a VS2000 I am thinking I am going to have to cut my losses. On a good note she looks Amazing full on Growth Spurt happening, I adjusted the PH up slightly to get it from 5.81, to 5.89. Tomorrow Measurements incoming. Week 3 Day 7 9/1/2023 She is looking beautiful this morning! I took off some lower leaves cleaning up the bottom 1/3 but I left some of the Stems because I know I am taking clones in a few weeks. She has grown 5 inches over this last week.

in veg to allow humidity to be high I had plants on risers and left water in the bottom tray of tent after feeding. I cleaned the tent and reintroduced drip trays under pot risers and now I shop-vacuum all water out of drip tray to keep rh lower for flower. also increased exhaust from low to high and added a 4 inch booster fan to bottom of tent as intake to draw dry air in. sour 76 #5 (fastest largest grower) was male got pulled out of tent but later eaten by my cats :( rip didnt get any pollen collected

Big lady, what a wonderful bush full of sweet and fat black cherry punch flowers I'm growing man, I'm so happy to be able to grow this strain 2 phenos are a little small but very sticky and full of quality, super sweet aroma very fruity, I love this strain, I hope to be able to select some phenos with this genetic in the future, very recomended guys!

I pollinated a side bud of this girl and her seeds are developing quickly. Which is exciting for the sake of future grows. Other then that the buds are not super big at all but look super quality so I am happy with how things are progressing. As the week comes to an end the trichromes are really coming in and she is starting to smell very nice. I think one more week of flowering to fatten up a little more and then I will flush to finish. I learned that I started to feed flowering nutes to early and so my first two autos did not get super tall as a result. Learning a lot with my first indoor grow and first time with autos, I read a really solid breakdown of Autoflowers lifecycle that was super informative. I'll leave here, and post it with my final harvest post here. Knowledge is power 😎 LIFECYCLE OF AN AUTO A common question I see is when to switch autos from veg to bloom. Many people are under the impression that as soon as they see the first flowers it's time to switch. Perhaps a little explanation of the life cycle of autos will help to clarify this. Weeks 1 - 3. Once you've started your seeds and they break the surface of the soil, they are in their seedling stage. The first set of leaves to appear will usually single fingered, followed by a second set that may still be single fingered or perhaps 3 fingered. Once that second set appears growth will start to accelerate as the new leaves provide more photosynthesis. This process will continue, more new leaves, faster growth. Depending on the type of soil in use, mild vegetative nutes can be introduced at week 2. By week 3 most plants will start to show their sex. Males will start to produce pollen sacks and females will display pistils. Weeks 4 - 6. The plants are now entering a pre flowering stage. During this time the plants should exhibit explosive growth, often as much as a new set of nodes and 1" vertical growth a day. This is the time when they will gain most of their vertical height. Many people make the mistake of switching from vegetative to flowering nutrients at this point, assuming that since they see flowers it must be the proper time. This is incorrect. If the switch to flowering nutes is made at this time the vertical growth will stop and the plant will put it's energy into producing buds. If you need to keep your plants small, or want them to finish earlier, they by all means switch nutes at this point. But if you want to get the most out of your plants continue feeding vegetative nutes until you see the vertical growth slow and stop. Depending on the strain that will usually be sometime during week 5 or 6. Weeks 7 - 9. By now vertical growth has stopped and the switch to flowering nutrients has been made. The buds will start to fill out and put on weight, becoming hard and tight. Pistols will start to change from white to brown, orange, red, etc. By now the plants will also have developed a strong smell. Toward the end of this phase the large primary and smaller secondary fan leaves will begin to turn yellow. This is an indication that the plant is moving toward the end of it's life. Weeks 10 - 11. At this time flowering nutes should be discontinued and only plain pHed water fed to flush the remaining nutrients from the soil and improve the taste. Yellowing of the fan leaves will continue as the plant draws the stored energy from them. Eventually they will die and fall off. By the time that the smaller leaves that come from out of the buds will also start to turn yellow. Then it's time to harvest. I know that many of you are thinking that the seed bank said the plants will finish in 8-9 weeks, so why are you saying they take 10-11? The claims made by the seed banks are somewhat deceptive. If you switch to flowering nutes at week 3 or 4 the plants can finish in the times the seed banks say but they will remain small and not reach their full potential yield. Years of growing by myself and others has shown that autos do best if you follow this time line. Of course, there will always be variations depending on the strain, the environment, nutrients, etc. This information is meant to only serve as a general guideline.
