The ladies has been having issues since day one, but im not giving up on these fighters! I have only been feeding ph 6.3 water, with no nutrition. Because of how early I topped her, the base was very dense with foliage so I did some defoliation. You can see the four main branches (2 of which were topped) and the central FIM with its supercropping scars in the 4th pic. Still running a 1000w MH bulb at 50%. Looking at getting a SMLED/COB LED combo light to replace my cool tube and associated fans and ducting. Water level was down to 50%. I'll have to start topping up. July 04 I rearranged my setup a bit while switching the MH bulb for the HPS. I think next run I'm going to grow 2 autoflowers and stagger them and try to run a perpetual harvest. I'm going to try to stick with the HID lights if I can manage the heat effectively. It was working well when I had the 6" cooltube and the 4" carbon filter exhausting out the window, but now that the smell is more intense, I don't want any air going out except through the carbon filter. I've thought about running filter-->fan-->cooltube-->outside but they're different sizes so it would lose efficiency. I've also thought about running clean air from outside the tent through the cooltube and then outside as it was intended, but I just don't think that's going to work with the space. July 05 I noticed shiny spots on the leaves which seems to indicate I have thrips. I can't see any actual larvae even with my glasses on, but the sucked out spots are fairly distinctive and I can see small black particles that must be excrement. Temperature seems pretty good in there and humidity is ok at about 45%. I have some peppermint Dr Bronner's castile soap so I made a foliar spray of insecticidal soap by just pouring a few drops into a big spray bottle. Just worried about when to spray so I don't burn the plant. Just checked the reservoir and temp is 26c, PPM 860, Ph 6.5. I'm going to add plain water and try to bring the Ph back down to 5.5. It's possible that what I'm seeing is due to the Ph being too high. I'm going to start checking the Ph at least every couple days. It's annoying to unclip all the training wires every time I open the reservoir. It's also not very convenient to fill it. It's at an awkward height. I like the 5 gallon bucket because it was easy to set up and understand but I might be better off with a different type of reservoir. 3:45pm I just sprayed the underside of one section of leaves, I'll see how that section does under the lights. My concern is that if I spray under the lights, it will burn, but if I spray at night, it could cause mold. Hopefully I can get away with spraying all the leaves once or twice a week and it will go away. July 06 She looks ok but I'm thinking it might be a Ph issue. Ph was 6.2 so I decided to just pitch the water and start again. I changed my method so I'm mixing the nutrients in the actual bucket the plant lives in and testing it there, instead of mixing in another bucket and pouring it into the DWC. Ph is now 5.7 and PPM 700. July 08 just noticed that RH is 70% when the lights come on. I feel like I'm going to need a solution for overnight humidity. Maybe dry rid bags. Rh is 60% after a couple hours. Leaf, solution, and substrate temp down to 24 which is nice. Ph is back up to 6.3 again! I pH downed some tap water to 4 and added that to the reservoir. July 09 Pistils just started coming out :) The Ph is still back up to 6.3 again but PPM is 750. I'm going to change the res again and lower the nutrient content a bit.

Calyxes are starting to fatten up. Trichomes are building nicely on all 3 plants this week. The aroma in the tent is getting stronger daily. Switching to a lighter nutrient feed this next week before flushing. Really pleased with how flowering is progressing in all 3 plants.

Hey guys . A wonderful week goes by with a super growth :-). After I topped it for the first time last week, it recovered very quickly and showed great growth. I braided the shoots of Dr Grinspoon under the hooks with LST every day. It still looks a bit uncoordinated and funny but that will change as soon as it is allowed to grow in height while it is in bloom :-). Depending on how long the other women in the tent still need their vegiphase, I then switch to 12/12 hours for flowering. I think it will be ready in the next 7-14 days 👍. This week it was poured 3 times with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). The tent was cleaned and the health of all women was checked :-). After the photos she was sprayed again with neem oil so that the last little tripse disappeared. Even if you can't see any more trips I will spray it one last time next week to make sure :-). Que pasa familia. Noticias buenas y malas, de 3 ejemplares, uno nos salió hermafrodita. Empezó a formar plátanos esta semana y al estar tirándolos en ramas distintas, cortamos por lo sano y ADIÓS. Quedan 2 subimos cantidad de comida, pegaron buen estirón, y las flores están formando sin problema alguno. Dejo muchas imágenes y vídeos de esta semana, y ya deducen ustedes.

Start of week 9 and everything is filling in nicely, 11 more days and it’s harvest time. Not much to report except the smell, fruity, berries, sweet and sour. except pheno 6 the sativa dominate that one smells like grape fruit / hazy.

Happy New Year Growmies! Wishing everyone good health and lots of stinky buds 😄💨🥂 Flower week 3 and the girls are behaving nicely. After the heavy training they “only” stretched about 15 cm, so we’re sitting around 95 cm (37,5 inch)now. They look amazing though, super healthy and everything seems nicely dialed in. With the drier weather outside the VPD is perfect, and I’ve found the sweet spot for the extra additives on top of the base feed. EC is around 1.6. On feed days I slightly reduce calcium to make room for Bud Candy and Bud Factor X, giving them a bit of extra magnesium and carbs during this important stage. The missing calcium is then made up on the second watering, which would normally be just plain water.💦🧑‍🌾 We’re also seeing pistils stacking into real budlets now, getting denser and chunkier, and there’s a noticeable increase in smell and stickiness as trichome production really starts to kick in. The light is set to 80% intensity and positioned approximately 40 cm above the canopy. Have a lovely weekend to everyone! Peace✌️

Cleaned up what I thought was a good amount of lower veg to get the top veg supercharged and man has it really shown within a few days I would say everything I took from the lower has migrated to the top. The girls are loving the new light. Think I have the perfect environment for these girls. As the growth is exploding now when they reach the edge of the net I’ll flip into flower.
