Alright guys, welcome back — week 7 of veg with the Pineapple Upside Down Cake from Humboldt. This week feels like a big win compared to the last one. The adjustments I made finally paid off. Cutting off the extractor really helped bring humidity back up, and that gave the plant the push it needed to get back into an optimal growth rhythm. I also realized that adding an extra light before was too much — way too much PPFD. So now I’ve gone back to a more balanced setup with a 54W COB at 5000K. The environment feels much more stable, uniform, and the plant clearly loves it. Nutrients are still straight Athena — Grow A, Grow B, CalMag, and Cleanse. EC is holding around 1.4. One thing I’ve noticed is a slight drift between what’s in the reservoir and what ends up in the saucer. That’s why I keep the res around pH 5.5–5.6. Once it drains through to the pot, it tends to rise, landing closer to 5.8 or even 6.0. It’s a bit tricky to manage, but the idea is to aim lower in the res so that the root zone ends up right where it should be. So, the main challenge for the upcoming week is to keep that pH steady in the sweet spot — ideally buffered around 5.8 to 6.0. If I can lock that in, the plant should keep pushing strong. For now, everything looks good. I’m happy with the comeback this week — definitely a victory. Let’s see how it evolves next week. Catch you then!

This plant was quite bushy and I had to get rid of a lot of lower growth, leaves and mini shoots, gave it a pretty aggressive stripping and half ass lollipoping. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. Day 86, 5th of December 2020: Craziest group I have ever had... Honestly I just want to see the end. I will be away for 2 weeks almost. Original Sensible Seeds ladies are dope. Gelato is very nice proper shape one of my favourite she is just nice and not problematic.... :) Runtz Gum is amazing nice big buds are on the way really nice! The same no problem with her at all!!!! Do-Si-Dos OG is just crazy.... She is not an easy lady... problematic... never met a plant like this one. ... Too much strech and now I need to tie and stand her up somehow i broke one branch.... I put a tape arounf so hopefully saves that bud tho....🤣 Her flowers kill her lol Black Ghost OG is sweet and good girl she is the easiest player from them she is good for begginners similar to Wedding Gelato even is shape haha.... Wedding Gelato from RQS is just perfect no problem with her at all... good for begginners as well... :) So This is how it is 5th week has started I just wanna get it done really long journey :) The lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week.

2nd week of flowering and the girls are doing well.

It was my bigger plant) Very good resistance during all season! I want to try it in soil) The buds have turned out dense and crystal with good taste)0

Final 2 weeks what a frosty beast

It's very hot over here..31°C most of the week... 1 week to go...

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. The shorter one is budding up quickly now. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights. 2/12: Today, I tackled the project to raise my ceiling another foot. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: The taller one is still stretching a little bit, but the 2-footer is just budding up. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

for week 11 i will have better image's and videos as up grading to a better camera. day 2 of week 10;frosty some sites already this early in flower form both the gorilla glues and for the grandmommy purple is still stretching with pre flower sites and hairs but no solid foundational bud sites like the gorilla glues have

Start of week 7(May 3rd 2022). I’ve been using Lotus Grow every watering and so I decided to flush the pots with 7x their water holding capacity in the bathtub. I will be alternating between Lotus bloom/boost and a plant based “tea” from Dragonfly Earth Medicine called Fat Flowers. Lights were too close and caused marks on the leaves which look like deficiencies, I’ll keep a close eye until I can be sure. The petioles are purpling on the indoor plants as well(might be genetics though from the Strawberry Nuggets).
