Day 15 - The new week meant a change of water, nutrients and an adjustment of lights. Chong is looking like a short, but sturdy little seedling with broad fan leaves and big roots. Max is 10cm vs. Chong at 7cm and her leaves are perky and the stem is thick. They both look good for their own individual reasons. Looking at the roots specifically, Chong seems to be facing similar problems as Cheech in the Cookies Gelato grow - the aeration in the bucket appears to have “dead zones” because of the colour the roots and the manner in which they are sticking together. I’ve adjusted the air stone to be more central in the bucket and cleaned the air tubes because the nutrients stick on the tubes. Other than that, I’ve controlled the PH back down to 6.0 after the addition of the nutrients using the Milwaukee PH controller and decided not to adjust the height of the lights because there was only about 2cm growth this week. Also added the first wire to give Chong a bit of a better bend in her stem, gently starting off the process of LST. Day 20 and the ladies are getting closer to topping. Both are showing clear third nodes with the fourth node opening up. I am sure we will be topping during this next week of veg.

Week 27 december - 2 January Happy new year!

I’m not too happy with the rate of growth but I knew I would be as I didn’t put dynomyco in (purposely) I’ve been feeding every 2 weeks (top feed) with Phyco myco (started last feed) and am seeing some beneficial changes! But will see in time just how much! I was 1” ahead last time and 10” ahead the time before that! So will be running the organic fertiliser next time with dynomyco and just feeding water and seeing the outcome of that! Autos are my testing ground now! As I know exactly what to do with photos! 😉 plus I feel I wasn’t to go back to 19-5 or even 18-6

No deficiencies thus far adding some molasses each feeding 1 tbls per gal water

The Gas Tax x Obama Runtz plant is looking really good. It's got these super pretty leaves and it's stretched a whole bunch. I think it might be my favorite plant in the tent. The new year is off to a frosty start! We've had snow falling for what feels like forever. My kids are loving it, of course. They're building forts, having snowball fights, and turning everything into a winter wonderland. It's been a lot of fun to watch them enjoy it. All this snow is really making me think about how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays, and now here we are knee-deep in winter. I'm looking forward to warmer weather, but for now, I'm enjoying the quiet beauty of fresh snow.

First week of flowering. Added a mixture of hydroponic nutrients, added a 50w lightbulb (for a total of 250w) and did some more and final defoliation; now she's ready to bloom at peace.

Everything going strong. Baby Yoda spreading his ears. One leaf started to curl a bit. Maybe too much water? Starting nutes tomorrow. The more leaves. Wanted to start nutes but soil is too moist. Will hold off for another day. Just misting the surface. Started with Fox Farm at 1/3 dosage as my soil had organic nutes in it already. Starting slowly. Saw a gnat running around. Stopped water and misting. Put some packing tape in. Should be ok. 😁 Temperature is creeping up as I add more light. Maybe increase distance soon. Increased the light distance. Leaves were looking a little baked. Maybe too hot as well.

12/25/2023-Germination Day 1 Merry X-mas 2023 I decided to start a run of SolFIre Gardens Hoodz Candyz S1. I am going to do a cup filled with RO water a touch of Hydrogen peroxide and let it sit for 24-48 hours until I see tap root then I am going to put it into a rapid rooter.. Tap root Down and put it about 1/4 of the say down the Rapid rooter. I made some modifications to my basket on this run.. I have taken a few Pods that I use for my cloning machine and decided that I am going to try and use them as sure plants, so that I can take my water right up to the bottom of the basket this time and see if these can make my planting more consistent.   12/26/2023-Germination Day 2 Tap root achieved Planting Commencing 12/27/2023-Germination Day 3 Misted the dome lightly misted the rapid rooter and added a little water to the bottom of the pan to encourage root growth to the pan. 12/28/2023-Germination Day 4 Ground Hogs day 12/29/2023- Germination Day 5 She is up, she has broken surface, I misted the root riot, and around the bottom of the tray to try and entice root growth down rapidly. 12/31/2023- Germination Day 6 Ground Hogs Day 1/1/2024-Germination Day 7 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!.. I did it I planned it out so my planting day would fall on New Years and it worked.. Yay!!! 1/2/2024- Germination Day 8 Since the roots are not to the water yet, I am pouring one cup of water lightly on the hydroton around the lady to try and encourage root growth down to the water.. 1/3/2024- Germination Day 9 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. 1/4/2024- Germination Day 10 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Shouldn't be more than a few more days. 1/5/2024- Germination Day 11 Ground Hogs day, will continue until roots hit the water. I am going to change the water Sunday and kick off Week 1, I will just continue to top feed until roots are in the water.. Very Nice looking and good Smelling Plant. Buds after Trim are medium dense but very tasty. Flavourwise it goes into ripe Berrys with a hint of Citrus and Soapyness in the background. The Plant looks exactly like on the pictures High-Giraffe-Seeds shows on their website. All in all definetly a recommendable Plant to grow.

Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! Se instaló malla scrog, first time. Se riega foliar con delta 9. Entrando a floracion. Se accidentó una glueberry que mantenia un alambre en su tallo, el sustrato se seco demasiado y el tallo cedió. Quedaron buenos brazos restante por lo tanto será interesante ver el desarrolla de esa planta versus sus hermanas. Primera semana de LSD-25

Soaked 7.27 for 36ishhrs, into paper towel for 12 hrs then into a solo cup with greentree garden supply pro ultra (coco/perlite). No plan on veg time I dont know when I'll have an open tent for flower but it could be a very quick veg kinda pheno hunt deal. First feed was a diluted leftover feed from my auto youngins. Basically about 1 ml/g of grow, 7ml/g humid acid, 1ml/g more roots, 1ml/g orca, cannazyme, hydroguard and a sprinkle of living organics in the nutes and on the top of the coco. Usually the ppm will be higher than I want it so I just dilute with r/o water until I'm down to 200-250. It makes it so I cant be accurate on ratios so that's why I'm tellin ya, but it's how I always do it no matter what nutes I use.

Grew really easy chunky and frosty didn’t stretch hardly at all and very close nodes which had gave me really dense buds
