GENERAL COMMENT. This week ran nicely for the two girls, of course one is going slower than the other. RQS NORTHERN LIGHTS AUTO The spotting got this girl hard, lock lock lock and stunt. She is packing the buds slowly, very slowly, patience is a key element with her now. But the good thing is that she is moving forward. I don’t expect top shelf or a huge harvest for her unfortunately. I couldn’t ID the early spotting reason, and the late spotting i attributed to salt buildup and acidic medium, but the correction was a real pain.

She looks super small to be 22 days old,I don't know what went wrong man, I did my job just like always do,she's in a very good super soil mix with guano,humus, beneficial bacteria,mycorrizae,I just don't know why she did not develop properly, will see how she ends up.

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

For this week, since its second week of bloom, will give it a P boost to the 1st gen mother to make sure she knows it's time to switch gears and flower. So taking out Flora Bloom and added dry Koolbloom which is 1-42-22 450PPM and also added 100 PPM of Flora Grow and 100 of CaMg for my main macro/supplement. Will be doing silica every other week and Hydro guard every week (since I found brown slime) Will resume with Flora Bloom next week. Been only doing Hydro for cloning and vegging so its my first time encountering brown Slime. Anyone know how I can get rid of it? What I know... - Need to lower PH to closer to 5-5.5 from 6.0 - Added Hydro Guard to fight slim - Minimize Air Stone duration - Been having it on pretty long because I have one large pump and I use it to brew Compost tea for my organic grow. - Need to minimize light penetration to resi - I have a perforated plastic cover laying around the house and I have been using that to cover the resi and sometime I even forget to put it on. Anything else? I run totally chemical nutes from GH Flora Series. And I have been sharing the PH and PPM meter with my organic nuets which I brew for 36 hours before use. Maybe some of that got contaminated thru that? Cause I have been using the same bucket system (without res) to raise my mothers for almost 7 months already and never encounter any slim before. I think I finally understand what tops are LOL: So please correct me if I am wrong... What I understand: - All tops large or small will "stretch" at the first weeks of flowering - Most of the "stretch" only occurs at the tops - The "stretch" will determine the length of that bud - The "stretch" should be as high as possible BUT with short distances between the NEW internodes that develop during that period. for a large and dense bud. - Don't get confused with stretch that cannabis experience under low light. Honestly not much to say about the dry and trim, which is definitely a good thing. 12 days hanging in the tent, and the plants were ready to trim. me & the Mrs. absolutely sailed through it. Stores like a dream, and smokes the same. Not a crazy amount of flavour, but the aroma that it has is lime and cream. And the taste is more earthy and spicy. Loving and savouring every bit of it. Sorry I’m very late with this, but I’ve been busy getting my next plants started! You should see them come up soon, as I’m quite behind in my posting. I’m very happy! 🤟💚

Day 43 flowering: Here is the star of the show for this run. She jas performed brilliant from day 1. her buds are so solid and smell of oranges so strongly. I am looking forward to her finish so much. I do think she will be my biggest yielder so lets see.

Busy week getting the new setup going. GG is going really good has taken to training well. Expecting a bit of stretching off her in flowering. Can notice the sativa traits in her with more distance between nodes, and her slimmer sativa type leaves . Have noticed how sticky she's starting to get when training her, left with sticky resin coated fingers😋 she's a nice plant

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. I plan on using a quadline for them all to keep a control for the comparisons too. Be green folks Welcome aboard and a huge thank you to Fast Buds for the opportunity to try autos.

J-64 rinçage eau (pH6.5) Les Forbidden Runtz sont très collante, petites plantes mais des belles têtes, grosses et compactes 👌 J-66 rinçage eau (pH6.5) J-67 les Forbidden Runtz seront prêtes pour la récolte de ce samedi. Elles ne montre pas trop de signe de carence malgré le rinçage de plus de 10 jours, contrairement aux Fastberry qui en plus ne sont pas prête. J-69 récolte des 2 Forbidden Runtz 😁 grosses têtes collantes, dures et très odorantes ! C'est parti pour le séchage. Toujours en période de rinçage pour les Fastberry.
