Die Blue Dream hat sich zu einem wahren Monster entwickelt. Der Sativa Einschlag drückt richtig durch, so langsam hört der Stretch aber auf. Die Blütenansätze und Stigman sind richtig dick und breit, was ich zuvor bei noch keiner Sorte so stark wahrgenommen habe. Die Interniodenabstände verkürzen sich nach oben nun wieder etwas. Der Geruch ist bisher eher erdig, würzig, hazeig. Ich bin sehr gespannt wie die weitere Entwicklung verläuft.

The bud development is going great, did some light defoliation to reduce the humidity and increase the airflow. The tips are turning a bit yellow, the light was a bit close due to the recent grow. Moved the light up a bit. Too make sure it’s not a nute burn I also decreased the Nutrients solution compared to last week.

22/08/22 - W04 - D22-28 : the girls are responding good to the training. So far so good. Made tranfer to another reservoir. In the last day D28 I see first sign of SOG

Week 2 of veg is in the books. Despite making some changes and dropping back to a 300w fixture, also upping the nute ratios - growth has been pretty decent for a single first week of veg. Got some yellowing on the leaves which is somewhat concerning. Again, hopefully rectified now that we’ve regulated to more acceptable temps and humidity. All are fairly uniform to start and the new bucket system has been issue free which is a bonus. Figure another week to the fim and then another week of veg before the flip. All on pace to get em to flower as quick as possible👌. We’ll cull as soon as able - if we pick up 3/4 spaces after losing the males that would greatly assist to free up some more space elsewhere and move in some new fems that have been backlogged recently. Finally back to focusing on quality buds and it’s and great feeling👍. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, crossed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower. These beans were the product of a shotgun breeding run that presented an unexpected opportunity so there’s quite a bit of testing that should flow from the various F1’s we’ve produced.

Day 63 Flower Well we’re coming to the end of the grow cycle. These plants are looking great. They’re starting to get a bit of purpling on the leaves and trichomes are clouding up. I flushed with 7 gallons of plain water with typhoon cleanse. It’s stripped about 300 ppm per gallon, got my runoff down to 110, and probably do an RO flush if I need to push it longer. I am very happy with the stank, quality, density and trichome coverage on these buds. The smell is a ripe sweet lemon with and earthy hazy musk. Could use more lemon but I’m not going to complain. My house is rank and can be smelled outside even with the carbon filter going 24/7. I’m super excited to see how the effect is on this strain. It’s one of my all time favorites and I’m pumped that it has turned out to be quality!!! Happy Growing 🌱

Flushing a bit this week and letting the leaves turn yellow on purpose so I know all the nutrients are used up in the soil. Gonna let it plump up a bit more for maybe another week and let it dry out before I harvest it.

Scrog, 15-22

Welcome to my Wedding CheeseCake Fast-Flowering sponsored by Fastbuds, also thanks to Spider-Farmer who's lights will be used. SF1000 for veg and SE5000 for Flowering (10-20 days after Flowering started "when pre fower is over") Mis information across the board about set-up, methods and so on: So, I decided to go ahead and use 1 seed. After looking at her Height she's XXL. So, I've no doubts if I decide to do a Scrog, I'll just use 1 seed, fanning the phenos out. I'll start it more at the corner and bend it down across the pot and no defoliations will be done as I'll need all leafs to extend the nodes growth. I'm not 100% gone on doing a 50cm2 scrog. Taking up 1/4 of my tent isn't something I like doing while strain hunting. Coming off how the bud is then I'll possibly do a scrog. I've so many plants going this crop. I think doing a Scrog will take a lot of my attention away from my other girls. I'm using my 70cm2 to veg my autos and a few of my fems, giving me an extra .5m2 space. My SF1000 is back at it again. She's a fantastic light, I always get excellent young plants from this light. Its from their old led setup. It has a small touch of Far Red. Days since sprouted: 0-7 Seedling Days; Came up showing a yellow set of leafs. Meaning I put the seed to deep into the substrate. And it broke its shell long before popping its head above the sub. Growth is good. Hopefully coming into day 9 or 10 she should have left the seedling stage and into a veg phase. Nutrients/Substrate used. Royal mix from plagron will see her through at least 4 weeks. (Alga Grow will be introduced at the end of week 2, as it takes time for organic nutrients to kick in). Power Roots & Pure Zym will be used for the next few weeks in earnest help nutrient uptake via the nutrient rich soil. Bat Guano Soil from plagron will be added upon the flip, (again been fully organic it should take a few weeks to kick in), Nutrient feeds are once a week, topped up with water if and when needed. But as they're seedlings you really only need to give its 1st Feed and keep a high RH. 118 CM! What-a-stretch!! Lol I forgot to give her week 2 ferts and gave her week 3 ones instead (removing Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, adding B-52, Big Bud and Nirvana). No problem because she already had two portions of fungi and bacteria when I had problems with the timer some weeks ago. Well she’s getting bigger and bigger. I’m a Sativa lover, and this is definitely a big gift to me.

9.2.25: Purple Punch P1 and P2 are near the end. Trichomes are looking good. Starting to turn cloudy. I think another week or 2. P3 is a different story. She is pitifully small still. The buds are also not developing as fast as the other 2. Will keep checking the progress every few days (if I can get in the tent)! 9.2.25: The plants had a good watering, they're all still drinking a lot. Which is great, as that means growth, which, at this stage, we desperately need! I went ahead and gave all the plants a thorough watering each with: 2ltrs of dechlorinated water, PH'd to 6.5 with:- ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid I don't know how this scrog net is going to work out. I think the squares are too big. It's elasticated, which I like. However, I'm extremely cautious with watering and moving the net. It's only a matter of time before I break more branches. It's such a hassle with it in there, honestly. I can't get in the tent properly to even check the weight of pots, as it's all weaved through, and again, I will snap branches. I did have a free net with the tent, which I think was smaller squares. I think I will use some other training next run. It's really not my kind of setup. I'm too interested in moving things and inspecting the plants constantly. The net is driving me up the wall. 😣 I'm considering removing it and trying something else, but it's also a bit too late for oldest plants. 9.2.25: Gave the plants another good soak. I used 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. It contained the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Bloom Booster ♡ 4ml of Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ 4ml Seaweed extract liquid ♡ 0.5g of Ecothrive Biosys. The plants are undergoing explosive growth at this stage, which I'm thrilled by! Purple Lemonade is turning purplish hues. Pink Mist has so many bud sites and is looking very healthy. Do-sì-dos is growing vigorously and looking promising, especially considering all my unfortunate mishaps! 😅 Watermelon also has considerable growth. Week 3 flowering for the Green Papaya from the super sativa seeds club. All looking good at the moment, the buds are showing a nice layer of snow on the buds, very sweet and fruity, we love the Green Papaya. We did a complete defoliation already and will do some maintenance here and there.
