This was my first time growing this Wedding Cheesecake Auto strain. It was easy to grow. I will order this strain again.

28/08/2023 I just water them and trim the leaves that are completely yellow. I'll wait a few more days, but this week I'll probably trim all the big leaves to leave only the small ones near the buds. At a certain point during the day, my humidity can drop down to 35%, but typically, I'm around 40%. The smell might seem strong when I open the tent, but it dissipates rather quickly. But what a delight, it smells really good. Still no nutriments

Day 7........

01/24/25. Start week 8 veg I messed around with these a lot the past week. I could see they had plenty of branching and bud sites but most of them were hiding. I used some lst clips to move things around and get more exposed. They were watered yesterday with calmag and next watering will be with a feeding. Theyre drinking about a gallon every 3 days each currently. They’ve exploded with branching now. They like to keep hiding under the big ol leaves though. They’ll be getting flipped soon. Would have already done it but one of the friends had been a straggler and trying to get her right. That about covers it. Update: forgot to add the pictures of lst. They’re at the end now. Whoops 02/27/25- did some more last minute training and cleaned up around their nether regions and got rid of lower growth. Also added video. Thanks for lookin. ✌️✌️

One of the last days of 2x 16 colas and 2x 4 colas mainlining 4 month growing. Jamaican Dream and Green crack potted together and the experiment was successful. Three Blue kings was stressed in vegetative period by iron excess and overwatering. This is the reason that lower buds did not developed better. Amherst Sour diesel have one of the biggest buds I have ever seen. Jamaican Dream should be developed smaller, like Green Crack, but 100% sativa genetics showed it's greatness. Green Crack was growing like Jamaican Dream in vegetative period, but in flowering period its growing was slowly and now it has become very thick and full of buds. My growing box is very cheap but I tried maximum of my budget. 600w HPS is one of the greatest lamp for indoor growing. At flowering stage I have increased 600w to Super Lumens on my digital ballast for maximum yield. Main mistake is that I have used very cheap and primitive pots and soil was not enough good too. In these days I'll cut diesel and kings tops, because they are almost ready and lower buds need 7-12 more days to be ready for harvest.

Week 7. Just watering now while the plant matures. Buds are getting heavy and needed support so I ran a few twines to hold them up.

Diesel Automatic is doing OK, growing slowly and still with the mosaic pattern on the leave. @James from RQS took a look and said: I would say that you might have a potassium deficiency on your plants. the deficiency might be caused by an excess of fertilizers and nutrients. Excess salt is especially common as it tends to build up in the growing medium. Nutrient lockout is a very common cause of most deficiencies. When the pH of the soil is too low, it makes the medium too acidic. This causes stress in the root zone and prevents the uptake of potassium. 📆 Week 9, 7-13 December 2023 7-13 December - Continued with simple adjustment of branches to receive maximum light. There was no defoliation of any leaf this week. Her growth rate has slowed and I believe she is heading in to the bulking stage. I’m satisfied with her size at this point. 8 December - Turned light power from 50% up to 75%, and raised lights from 18” to 21” from top of plant to facilitate the bulking phase of flowering. 📑 Let’s briefly discuss light and umol/m2/s or PPFD. First of all its all about numbers. Is there an agreeable starting point on these figures - the cannabis plant requires between 100-300 PPFD in seedling, 400-700 PPFD in vegetation, and 800-1000 PPFD in flower. It can go up to 1500 PPFD with certain C02 concentrations. I believe this may be generally accepted. Never being much of a numbers person, in ways I avoid it. I’ve grown indoor weed for a long time without a fancy device to tell me what this number was, the plant did that. A quality light and the plant itself will talk to each other in a matter of hours sometimes, days in others, I just need observe. But what I have come to realize the past few years is that these numbers, found in simple instruments (apps for smart phones) give us a very specific area of where she is within all these spectrums. It allows us more precision and insight to what would otherwise be a possible weak or vulnerable spot within our grow. I’ll use mine on a new strain, and to verify any questions. They are easily accessible tools for the common gardner. When we adjust our lights we can measure what will be optimal for our plant. Using my case in point; from: 50% power or 890 PPFD at 18” to: 75% power or 1080 PPFD at 21” **if not raised 3” - that number would have been 1320 PPFD - likely damage the plant - or raised any higher there would be no real benefit in what I’m attempting to achieve - likely waste of power** The 2023 ViperSpectra XS2000 lights (the ones I use) come with a new switch now that go from 25, 50, 75, 100% power and no option in between. So that kind of put a kink in a week or two during my grows I have to work around. Going from 50-75% power is a big shift in light intensity, and these lights are bright. Knowing what that number is and being able to adjust the height precisely to avoid damage is reassuring. I appreciate advancements that make growing a little easier. In most personal grows during flower I’ll go well over 1000 PPFD depending on the strain tolerance, without C02. Here are my experiences why: 1) my set-up allows it, 2) that number only reflects the greatest reading at the highest point on the plant - my reports, 3) when the plant is budding it is absorbing much more photons than when in the leafy only stage - everything is accelerated - this is a totally different discussion, 4) the additional light provided will proportionally increase a higher yield, and finally, 5) some of todays theories on light will change in 5 years, as it has from 10 years before, we still have a lot to research. LEDs are definately cream of the crop, but there is something new to learn I’m sure. Until then I can only tweak what I have in search for a tighter bud, higher in THC. I said I would briefly discuss this subject. Everything is possible with lights. It is science that says the cannabis plant does not have to produce secondary metabolites (trichomes and cannabinoids), in some cases it may not. It produces them based on its environment. She returns to you what you dedicate toward her.
