Hey all, this week has been very good and productive. Lots of flower points and looking like I’ll have some very mixed size flowers in this lady, she very big and starting to slightly show yellow in places, so I might give her a little extra in her feeding this week. She’s off and running now, nice sea of green and will have a nice flat canopy of flowers in the coming weeks.

This is the home stretch!! Buds had their final little burst in size and all the trichomes are nice and cloudy, so for me, it’s time to harvest. I’m doing one more flush with ice water and putting her in total darkness for 48 hours. Gonna chop her in a few days once the soil has dried out and just take off some big fans leaves and hang her up to dry for a few days!

Night 41 - 02/11/19 Time for a new week again and damn has the Quick one stretched since last week. was 18cm 1 week ago and now its 30cm. im really proud of myself for getting this far :) wondering how tall its gonna grow lol. Still not much of a smell to the plant, i dont think its fully flowering yet. I flushed tonight again to decrease ppm further and rid the medium of salts. runoff ppm was 800 last flush. runoff ppm is 650 this flush with a ph of 6.34 compared to 6.22 (i think) last time. going to calibrate my ph pen after this grow :) hoping im near the harvest now as im having panic attacks when i get into bed at night, my mind is racing so fast :/ On a better note my other diary fast eddy may not be tall but is soon to be heavily flowering! finally i added a few videos and pictures and I was watching videos on breeding birds last night, completely fallen in love with nature and living things :) il see how things go but i might end up taking care of some cool animals! would be amazing to have them in the videos of my plants lol! will update sometime later in the week folks so take care until then :) Day 43 - 04/11/19 Quick one is 35cm now :) if it didnt go above 30cm by harvest then i definitely could have done better but 30-40cm is what iv think a good beginner attempt is :) if it goes to 50-60 il be excelling for a new grower :) the more the merrier haha! one of my chilli pots finally germinated today along with the diesel strain from my new diary :) Still no smell from this plant tho, maybe a slight lavender/veg smell. looks to me like it developed flowers and went back into veg hahaha. the next 4 weeks will tell i guess! keep an eye out for the next picture update, everything is looking great and im hoping for 20g of bud from this strain but il be happy with around 14g :)

For vegetative stage I kept the lights on for 20 hours and off for 4 and then at the first sign of trigger I set hed the lighting to 12/12 I used pre amendment soil so there was no need to add nutrients the plant was in a city slicker sub irrigated planter that I would refill when empty this was my first time growing in a sub irrigated planter and it most definitely will not be the last this planter rocks out to say the least only regret is that I didn't buy more of them as for the smoke report I'll try and do an update I'll be drying for 16 days at 60 degrees Fahrenheit and 50% humidity

Started with 2 Sour Chelumbians and 2 Lemon Haze Autos. Neither of the LH autos wanted to live so I started a bubba kush and a white widow to be in the same tent. They will be about a week apart in life

More purple starting to show everyday and nuggets became rock hard

This week the GMO cookies is just blew up. Started the week with a transplant to 1gallon pots. An the took to it very well to it. both ended w2 at 6in & 7in tall. Hand watering 300ml daily to these girls at lights on.SF light set to 35% @ start of this week. With a 60-65% humidity level.

I keep finding these little green caterpillars eating leaves 😑 Thankfully I also keep finding praying mantis. I really hope the Sensibloom with PH perfect fixes my soils high PH of 7.2.

This week was mainly about making sure there are no leaks in the RDWC system. I germinated the seeds straight in to the easy plugs and placed them in the the net pots surrounded by clay pebbles. The Fastbuds genetics did the rest and came through with a 100% germination rate. I will leave them running on clean water for the next couple of days. I will be making sure to monitor ph balances closely. In regards to oxygen for the roots I constructed a waterfall system with added air stones from my air pumps to cater for healthy root development and sufficient oxygen. Even though I have a lot of light in there, I have them all dimmed down to their lowest percentage.

Flowering day 73 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Felt like growing was slow going this week. I know they’re only 7 days from breaking ground so they’re establishing their roots but there was two days I felt like they didn’t grow at all. I germinated two more seeds, was going to have a total of 5 in my 4x4 but I somehow managed to kill both my master kush seeds despite having a beautiful tap root when I planted them into the soil. (Any advice/methods for getting seedlings going from germination to 🌱 is welcome and appreciated) My two Gorilla Breath plants struggled for the last 3 days of this week and went pretty yellow, which I presumed was a lack of nutrients since they’re only in solo cups right now with Fox Farm soil. They most likely used up all those nutrients and thus began showing signs of nutrient deficiency. I plan to make the next transplant into pro mix with added perlite so I have Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom on standby with RO water for that process. I ended up giving the two gorilla breath a 1/3 dose of micro, grow, bloom in 1L of water for one of their feedings to attempt to get some color back. It seemed to start working as you can see on the pictures. I was into my local hydro store today to buy some perlite to add to my pro mix next week and the guy talked me into some foliar spray (see attached image) to address the nutrient deficiency. I sprayed it on the leaves right before lights out on day 7 (February 6th) Hopefully that helps them out. Time will tell. I also struggled with humidity this week, ended up using a wet towel temporarily to keep humidity levels around 50% but I ended up ordering a humidifier on amazon and got that set up today.
