Day 15-Day 21 Day 21: I am ready to cut this down and start over with some plants I have in veg. The video is of today and I think the buds being nonexistent at day 21 of 8-10 week strains is a bad sign and shouldnt waste my time and money trying to nurse it into something. I have 2-4 20” plants taken for clone practice from these plants. I could easily have a 10-12 plant sog. If you’re reading this please weigh in honestly if you think this is a waste of time to finish flowering. It’s incredibly discouraging to not have a clue what is wrong, but by this time there should be more than what there is. I have the light at 50%, at about 42” above the canopy. All I know is I’m 10/10 pissed off. I also gave a Pk booster at one pinch per gallon

Apple Fritter is doing good. I changed solution today, and adjusted levels to suit her needs better. She is not showing any flowering signs beside a litter stretching so far. We are nearing the end of this journey with the 5 White Widow Autoflowers from ILGM genetics During week 12 Continued watering with regular PH'd water every 2 to 3 days. Checking tricomes with a jewelers loop every few days. The plants are smelling super potent now coming into week 8 of flower! Buds are super resinous and extremely sticky. Week 13 Last week before chop! The plan is to see how the plants look nearing the end of week 13. My current grow tent is the same tent I use to dry so this may get tricky! ILGM has grow time listed as between 10-14 weeks so Im right in that final phase. Stay tuned for up close shots of the final stage of these plants. I will include final photos, wet weight, and final dry yield in upcoming posts. 👽

Starting from this week I will only use BioBOOST additive because I think that I could have an over K amount in my soil. I defoliated just a little tiny bit to expose even more the buds to the light. The resin is starting to increase considerably and the smell is following with berry and citrus notes gnam gnam 😵 I did not know that Sativa strain has less compact buds through the stalks so I was a little bit worried about it but I think is fine. Welcome to my Lemon Drizzle Diary Sponsored by Spider-Farmer & Barneysfarm. 1 Month Update in 1 Week. Trying a new thing, with so many diaries. I really don't need to be doing so many updates in 1 week. So, for most of my diaries apart from one I'm in contract with. I'll be applying up to 14-21 days in 1 week. This was let go for over a month. I'm giving you a month of her growth. She really is another few weeks ahead in Real Time. Days 15-42 Veg Days 10-37 weeks 3-6 1 month. Plant done very well in her early weeks coming into wk 3 she has 10 days of veg and a considerable root zone. (That was root bound) been a fem. Id no concerns about losing her roots at the end. I then decided to go for another smaller but slightly bigger pot for a few weeks to get roots going again fast that won't be an bound like that. After a few weeks coming into wk 6 I put her into her final 11L pot. And she flourished. She pult herself out of the light green edges she suffered from been stuck in a another small pot (her roots found it hard to catch their breath been root bound) but, roots are literally coming out the end of the 11L pot now. She's at the end of wk 6 after going through hard defoliations at the start of wk 3 well into and beyond wk 6. And I've made myself 4 very nice tight long nodes with lots of inters built up. When she's put to into pre flower this week I'll start to open her up lightly. Not much. As there is only 4 nodes so, there's not much to LST but pulling them slight apart from each other. Light SE5000 is doing a smashing job. I've only had it up to 85%. Really good co2 light. And this lady is far away from the light. So, she's maybe getting 45% of her power. She's getting 40k lux. When its in fattening she'll be getting 65-70k Co2 Is kept between 8-1300. Average is 1000. Temp is between 31-33c slight dip. Thanks to Barneysfarm for their 2022-23 Releases. Fastbuds has done it again I can see why it has strawberry in the name the stems and the leaves all have red hues and lines in them. Seems to be a great stacking plant. If I was better at growing autos I think I could make some huge colas with this plant. Mights grow it again some time. The 1st auto I grew like to years ago was some f1 auto from rqs and it flowered super early and was super extra small and a waste of time so I always thought all autos were the same but fastbuds has changed my mind officially they know what’s up with the auto game

Its Been A Ok Transition From Indoors To Outdoors...

Day 50 overdue feeding and watering. 5g SimPro Bloom half gallon of 6.5PH spring water each. I'll never choose this fertigation method again. So much easier to amend the medium then top dress every 30 days. The plants seem normal for 50 days from seed, but not normal for a plant that is supposed to be harvest ready 60 days from seed. A few people here on GDs ran this strain way passed 60 days and maybe this is why. It's possible some phenotypes just take longer. No smell and no trichomes at this point. I would guess they need another 25 to 30 days to nug up. Day 52 they are both praying but still cannibalizing themselves. 5g isn't enough. Considering a top dressing. Day 54 - pulling 5 yellow leaves per day. This is not nutrient deficiency, these plants are fading. SMH I am behind pissed! Wasted 2 months of tent space and nutrients. I didn't do everything right, but the lesson for me is to stay away from fast strains. This is actually motivation to switch to photos. More forgiving of the small mistakes. In this case I overwatered in early veg. I should have tossed them both then. My preamendment ratios were off and I switched to water feeding during preflower. All of this has resulted in a plant that looks to be done in a week with marble sized fluffy buds that have zero trichomes and no smell. PISSED OFF!!!!! I'm learning through my failure but it still sucks! Day 55 Watered both with rain water, CalMag, and SimPro Bloom. I know CalMag isn't recommended in flower but I don't care about this bull crap plant anymore. I'm popping new beans and am gonna run these two as far as possible to see if I can get a decent top cola at least. Still pretty pissed. Day 56 Pics show how they respond to watering. Sheryl is praying, Candace leaves are up, but not praying like Sheryl. The only smell on either is from a stem rub. No visible trichomes. Not when I even zoom in. So odd! Day 58 Finally have some odor! These plants are growing like a regular auto-flower. I've been freaking out because the breeder says it's a fast strain (60 days). The lesson here is to always listen to the plant. Scrap the website crap and pay attention to pistils, leaves, and trichomes. They look and smell good for day 58. The yellow leaves are likely due to me adopting an abbreviated / hybrid feed schedule to suit 60 day seed to harvest. The day 55 feeding was 6g of SimPro Bloom in 51oz of water and that seemed to hit the spot. I need a good loupe so I can have a strong finish. Day 61 Fed Candace 1tbl of Terp Tea with Azos & Mykos, plus Fish Sh!t. Half gallon of Spring water. Bottom fed Sheryl Azos, mykos, & half tbls of SimPro Veg in 16oz of Spring water.

What an incredible journey this has been! From start to finish, these plants dazzled at every stage. The drying process was a bit of a marathon – 21 days of suspense. But now, they are absolutely perfect. They snapped off the stems with a satisfying crunch – straight into my rolling paper for, ahem, "quality control" purposes. I'm beyond excited to have 2 more seeds ready for the future. Though I won't be growing them in my next round, I can't wait to see what they'll do next time. These gorgeous ladies have rewarded me with a whopping 248 grams dry! I'm in absolute weed heaven. Now comes the hard part – keeping my hands off while they cure and reach their full potential. My trusty humidor will help make sure they become everything they're meant to be. Here's to a fantastic harvest and many more green adventures ahead! 🌿🎉

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
