I got a double scrog setup and I'm gonna let it grow into it. This is my first grow and I'm excited. General Hydroponics nutes (Flora series). Kingbrite QB 288 v3 from alibaba. I'm just gonna let her do her thing until about week 3.

Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

Trimmed a few of the bottom leaves off that weren't getting much light. Pulled down the net to stabilize the limbs and train them outward a little more. Nothing much else to report. Growing nicely.

I started to defoliate her a bit. So she now looks a little lolly popped :) I think I'll do some more later but for now it looks good to me. I guess it was a good idea to seperate her, since she got more space to evolve that way...

Auto Maxi Gom is still flowering, and looking kinda crappy. I have had this happen once before like this. I dunno if it is genetic or something I did. I plan to finish her out, and use flower for infusing. AMAZING WEEK! The environment is reading for flowering. Lighting, feeding, watering, air temp and CO2 are all stable and should give my plants a stress free life. Humidity is still high, so I'll need to come up with a plan for dealing with that ASAP. I've introduced CO2 into the grow with my brand new AirBomz unit. It uses a light sensor that releases CO2 when the lights turn on, and then uses a timer to release every 2hrs until the light switch off. I doubt I'll reach the 1200PPM stated by the manufacturer, mainly because I'm running an extraction, but I figure some is better than none. Cool controller also included. After doing some reading I can see there's two things that I need to look out for: A) Switching off the extraction so it doesn't suck away the precious CO2 before the plants have had a chance to absorb it B) Making sure the room doesn't get too hot whilst the extraction is off, causing heat stress My solution is: A) Switch off extraction for 15mins at the AirBomz 2hr interval B) Use the Temp Controller the switch off the circulation fan when temp exceeds 27C C) Controller then switches on the active intake when temp exceeds 28C D) Temp is held at 29C whilst the extraction is off D) Extraction turns back on after 15 mins, temp drops below 27C E) Temp controller switches off active intake... F) ...And switches on the circulation fan G) Repeats every 2hrs NEXT WEEK: Work out how much the girls are drinking! I'll know when I change the reservoir.

A big hello to all the cannabis growing gardeners...and all the other visitors that came across my grow journal. This week was very relaxing, i add only PH+ (again ;), Calmag and PowerZyme. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now cannabis smell is overpowering in my grow room I can finally write something about Spider Farmers 6-Inch Inline Fan with Smart Controller and Carbon Filter :) As my grow room gets really stinky at times i always invest in a top shelf carbon filter almost twice the size of the one provided by Spider Farmer, to my shock Spider Farmer carbon filter absorbs the smells wonderfully well. No smell leaks and that just when the fan is running at 5 out of 10 levels of output. The smart controller is something completely new to me, and had a lot of fun experimenting with it during the veg and early flower, when the smell began i needed it to run full time at level 4 or 5 to rid the fragnance. All in all the whole combo is a great deal. If you are not as keen on technology the set without the controller is awesome on it's own. But to have some extra options open, the controller at the device throws at you a ton of settings you can use to optemiase you grow enviornment. Smells are getting progressively stronger, smelling like tropical punch still. Showing signs of purple, possible with the dropping temperature at night with the AC. They are cover with trichomes and looking lovely!
