Fed them 1x flower girl last week, maybe a tad too strong. Saw some subtle burns on the tips but not very big, must of just been over in nutes. Tallest plant is 29in and I do not think it will be growing any taller. I should have 3-4 weeks more of flowering so we will see. Will assess at the end of the week whether I should flush at the end of next week or the following one. Hoping to see some major growth change in buds at the end of next week. Other then that, plants are looking healthy, strong, frosty with a nice green color. Smell is there and when I brush the white hairs it releases a very sweet, candy-like smell which is delicious!

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Im so happy with how these girls are turning out..these are both photoperiods and are in grape containers from the supermarket. They are taking the training very well and im very pleased with the development and growth

Day 36 (Second Grow): Hey everyone! We’re starting a new week and have officially entered the flowering phase! 🌸 We switched the timer to a 12/12 light cycle, and the plants are responding beautifully, growing 5-10 cm every day. Our SCROG net is doing a great job keeping the canopy even, ensuring all parts of the plants get enough light. The Timor shield mantis is happily patrolling the garden, providing natural pest control. We've placed a hygrometer within the canopy to monitor humidity, which sometimes exceeds 70%. We're considering adding a dehumidifier to keep levels in check and prevent mold or mildew. Any tips on managing rapid growth during flowering or keeping humidity levels in check? Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. She is definitely the more bushy of the two, and flowering is filling in nicely. All is well, easy growing 😎

BUT one of the KOSHER KUSH is going to need a week or 2 extra to bulk up her fruits . I’m starting to see that one of the kosher kush is starting to get yellow leaves working from the bottom up.. a sign that my fruits are finally ripening 🍇🍍

She stretched almost an inch in 6 days maybe more it's truly amazing and this cropsalt stuff is no joke I'll literally challenge anyone to use it by direction and not see why it's the best!!! PERIOD!! other then that she is drinking alot more and eating steadily more as well, I am going to cut clones by this week or next and then start that GD foenthe large tent, this girl is fairing really well considering the home conditions I have with her but otherwise she has been absolutely a breeze to grow!!! This is the first day of week 4. I decided against any form or training or topping and decided to focus on watering and getting nutrients correct for this first grow. Being it’s a tent grow, I can essentially grow when I choose now anyway. Touching the plant leaves the soft but pleasant smell on your fingers that we all know and love. I’ve also drilled more holes in the bottom of the pot and do get some runoff when I water now. Considering switching to 12/12 in a weeks time.

Continuing LST and also did a super light defoliation only took off some of the bottom leaves that were still touching the coco. Also switched on the bloom switch as well at the end of the week. Also sprinkled a bit of Diatomaceous Earth on the coco coir especially at the base of the plant, and also sprinkled a bit on the leaves as well although that wasn't intentional

Hey Cannafam, My gals had another wet week, each day has had showers although its not been solid and she has had time to dry out in between assisted by me going out to shake off water after each rainfall. However at the beginning of the week i found what suspect to be start of rot in one of her lower braches as a sugar leaf had died for no reason amoungst a bunch of healthy ones, so that bits had the chop. I also found a cocoon of some sort glueing to leaves together at the top of the plant and had to cut that out, the consistancy was of latex and i think it was a moths or buterfly. Needless to say ive been inspecting her dayly closley for any more issues. On the positive side of things shes holding up quite well currently, all bud sites are building even the bottom branches which were exposed last week are starting to fill out. Smell has increased again and this gal is absolutely honkin now. In terms of feeding shes just had one dose this week, there is a tiny bit of burn on some of her leaf tips and shes a light feeder. The weathers looking drier for next week so she should be catchin more rays and lovin life again. Thats all from me, thanx for stoppin by 😊💜💜💜

11/10 Week 7 Long week Maggie is responding well to treatment, will continue until I see something that says its gone far enough. I know she needs defoliation but I just hate to take health(ish) leaves when its already stressed. Maybe next week air flow is good. May add some sulfer to the mix but keeping it as is otherwise, 6.8 PH, 1-2% H2O2 and CalMag in a day or two as she drys. Brandy... not sure it did as much for her but see nothing that says stop so will continue as the pot drys. Layla ya got me on my knees... shes my girl. lovely not perfect but has handled things that left other plants stunted and yellowed. Were she a photo I would have cloned her. Continuing feeding as I have, may add Karo may not, defoliation continues as needed. May this continue God willing and the creek dont rise. Last note - Raised the lights up 4 inches to 22" for better dispersal across the canopy now that its getting used. Think this strain likes that. 11/11 Looking better. Did some defoliation on Maggie, nothing stressing and mostly damaged leaves though some were for blocking bud sites Same on Brandy though less so. Picking up some chemical bloom nuets so I can continue lightly feeding them through these treatments, the organics are getting blasted by the h2o2 Layla looking her usual lovely self, buds building, her and Maggie get fed today, Brandy still too wet. 11/12 Brandy still not dry enough, may adopt the feeding I set out for Maggie below when it is time. Changing the treatment on Maggie, for one feed only dropping the calmag and adding two TBS of Epson salts , fish sh!t and recharge to get the bug healthy, and continue the cocotek nuets for the time being, it the only mineral fert I have, to the water at 6.5 PH . Believe the H2O2 has done all its going to do repairing the roots and now I can address the sulfur (i hope) issue. Plant is huge BTW so if I get her producing, yield is going to be huge. IF Layla just continue as before, the Dr Earth is doing a marvelous job of covering all the bases. Will absolutely use this when I go back to organics. Had to reset the lights again... Maggie :) 11/13 New Pics of Maggie as she is the only one causing me concern, no feed today still too wet Defoliated bottom 1/3 of Maggie getting rid of all unwanted under growth. Will continue as it goes. Large leaves looking normal now. 11/14 Feeding time: Maggie and Brandy - 1 gal at 6.5 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt (decided to hit the middle), 5ml cocotek A&B , 6ml Fish Sh!t holding the recharge for next time. Layla - 1 gal at 6.5 5ml Cal Mag , 5ml Bio-Bloom, 5ml Fish Sh!t Getting a bit of height growth on Maggie. Expect more if we are right on this. Decided to hold off a mag/Sulfur foliar until tomorrow if needed. New Vid posted few minutes post feed. Maggie was a bit dry as she is really drinking 11/15 New Vid Foliar feed of 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt / gal unPH water on Maggie primarily though also hit Layla and Brandy. Only the very top of the colas now have the paleness so progress.
