This week was terrible for her just as she was ripening the humidity increased…prompting an early harvest.

The Girls are EXPLODING Switch to Bloom nutes has been made, The Stardawgs have absolutely taken off. The runt which was discoloured and small seems to be stacking up nicely behind the rest. The Two which have been mainlined are now showing their potential with the main two colas looking like 2 fat bum cheeks! 1 has been untrained as an experiment for my own conclusion to the old age question.. 'can you train an AUTO?' The GG's are still growing rapidly but seem to be slowing down and bud sites have gone from a few pistils to little crumbs of furry goodness!

MAGIC STRAIN This strain easy to grow and beautiful to look at. Nice colour, incredible taste, great smell. This strain takes well to LST. Made a few mistakes, but the bud came out great overall. Very pleased and will grow again.

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. Very Indica bud structure, well formed, perfect filling. Plant is suffering now from mild rusty fungus infection probably attached by tomatoes. For now only 3-4 branches are affected and only fan leaves. In any case there's nothing to do at this stage and luckly my Special Kush is resilient and is growing very nice. Outdoors it happens. Expected harvest time September 4th week.

This week marked the full transition into active bud development 🌸 The plant has completely finished stretching and is now focusing its energy on building buds and increasing resin production. • Final height stabilized around ~100 cm • Stretch fully completed • Energy directed into bud growth and trichome production Bud sites are now clearly developing across the canopy, though they are still in the early stages of stacking. Trichome production is steadily increasing, with a light frosty layer already visible on the sugar leaves ✨ Canopy management was adjusted this week. After a light defoliation in the previous week, additional leaves were removed and the plant was lollipopped to clean up the lower growth ✂️ Toward the end of the week, branches were gently spread apart using wires to improve light penetration. This significantly improved light distribution: • Each main branch now receives ~800+ PPFD ☀️ • Reduced shading compared to previous weeks Light intensity remains high and well tolerated, with light praying still visible, indicating the plant is comfortable under the current setup. Water demand remains high: • ~4L every 2 days based on pot weight 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x Orgatrex • 1x Greenhouse Bio Enhancer • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment: • ~24,8°C temperature • 47–50% RH 🌡️ Aroma has developed noticeably this week. Evening all...back on it AGAIN!!!! Worst is, in the middle of a heat wave (Hottest day every recorded in this part of the world a couple of days in a row!!!)...still need to finish trimming my last crop!!! :'( Will get that done over the next couple of days as these girls need rehoused!!! So, got a cloner at the start of the year...was planning on clone a spare wedding cake I had but that sort of went to pot and life got in the way and that didn't happen. As I also got a hold of an Ultrasonic Mist Generator, I thought I'd give this "Fogponics" Germination thing a go!!! Seeing as @Sweet_Seeds donated a few Magical Beans to my cause, I thought I'd give their genetics a whirl. The Red Hot cookies looked too cool to pass up on!!! So, got the beans popped on the 12th of July and by the Thursday, they were showing their wee heads. One though was also showing its wee tail - I hadn't buried it enough and it popped itself out of the Jiffy Coir plug I started them in. I did get it reburied and it has started growing but you can see its the runt in the pic...intend on keeping this one as a cloner (And will give the cloning a fair whack this time!!!). Since I was worried that the one that popped the soil was going to be impacted, I dropped a 3rd bean and true to form, it was out of the root riot in 4 days also. Got them into the 'fogponics' machine and let them rip (Under 2x11W T5 Sunblaster 6400/k's and a Amazon Special LED light for extra Spectrum) and they seem to be coming on grand. Noticed some yellow spots on the leaves and in 2 minds if it was: A. calcium (As starter plugs are Coir and I didn't put calmag in the plug hydration mix - Jiffy Original plugs are supposed to be buffered for this!!!); B. if I should have broken and washed them out of the Coir and put them into straight Hydroton (The fog could have been saturating the Coir and choking the internal roots a bit) or C. if its just the abusive heat we've been having here (In a country where A/C is basically unheard off as heat doesn't exist outside!!! 😋). Roots are ripping out of the net pots now so they're about as ready for transplant as can be...just wanna give a day or 2 more to see if the heat here settles as I can't adequately cool the area they're going too - but then again, under LED so heat may be good as it doesn't heat the leaf surface up as much! Plus I have a couple of plants to trim...still hanging in their humidor tent when is needed again for growing! Think this will also be the retirement party for the Wilma. Going to build an Undercurrent Fallponics system when this run is done (Wont have time to get it setup before these girls need forever homes!!!). Have the crates bought and a bit of research done on how to DIY a build so hopefully this turns out to be a decent run. Also have a few people with building experience on hand to give advice. Since last grow: Lights have been upgraded to a Geekbeast 630W Pro LED (3500K Spectrum - UV 385nm and Far Red 730nm built in [won't use the 730's as they can't be run independent of the Main Lights...be wary of this if you buy one off Alibaba for the 730's built in!!!] - Will run the 385UV's though throughout the grow for more blue...will run then 3 hours after lights on to until 3hours before lights off). Also procured an InvisibleSun LED 730nm Flower Initiator (Will use this for EOD Far Red treatment to try a 13/11 flower cycle) and a Migro UVB310 fixture - For the Trikes!!! 😝. Have a Haliea 300A winging its way to me as we speak. Have some Non-Stick Micro-tips flying in from the Grand old US of A a will to get a better, more consistent yield. Germination was successful in 24 hours!

previous watering was fed with liquid nutrients, my temperatures are not low so the nutrients come slowly with some intervals giving only water without much runoff occurring a mixture of soil and mycorrhizae for better performance i know i needed calcium and magnesium good the problem was money, i will continue with epsom salt the option i have direct sulfur in the soil has helped me hear a visible change. water ph 6.2 solution temperature 20 ° - 0.50 g of great white mycorrhiza 2 days earlier were sprayed with water without ppm via leaves - lights off to serve as a cooling shower in the heat is great for stomata . Simple led panel added as main light source 260watts being divided to 3 plants in the fullspectro tent model, did not get much difference in temperatures compared to HPS, is more the same spectro ratio and UV to reach more directly in the trichomes and terpenes. Large leaves, like a true sativa even if they are long, go in equally straight and thin shape, trichomes with glands larger than their sister, but this one in front really does not hear physical stress from something just high temperature training, but are very resistant To this, I imagine later on taking this same genetics at favorable temperatures and hydro. A strong smell that I will have to turn to buy a filter, I can not with curious and malicious neighbors need to really contain the smell.

Still chugging along

This is my second grow. Started from seeds. 2 in big pots (I don't know the exact volume, around 30l-40l) and 4 in smaller 18l pots. I assumed that not all plants would grow nice so I thought it would be a good idea to start with 6 plants, and if they all grew I could give three away so that I have enough space (3 plants for 1 square meter). Problem was that the people that wanted the plants, could only take them in like week 14, and then they should already be in flower. Remember the word "should". So I sticked with 6 plants in a very confined space.. As described in the Video, this was before heavy defoliation. A few days later I flipped the light schedule from 18/6 to 12/12. At this point I had already done LST and a combination of FIMing and Topping. The two big ones and one small are Mandarin jam and the other 3 in the small pots are Super Skunk. I think it would have been a better idea to put them in flower earlier.
