I’d say another week, maybe a little more before harvest. Been feeding my plants RO Water only and I see the trichomes starting to build up. Buds are getting fatter and frostier compared to last week for sure. Starting to really smell like gas. Super sweet candy like smell.

Week 3 Flower – Sundae Driver From Seed to Now This journey started just five weeks ago from seed. We ran a very short veg, only about two weeks, before flipping to flower. Even with the short veg, these Sundae Driver phenos have been relentless growers: strong branching early on, healthy node spacing, and an impressive stretch once the light cycle changed. In Week 1 of flower, we switched to 11 hours on / 13 hours off to encourage a faster transition, and by Week 2, the girls had already shot past the 111 cm mark. Now, in Week 3, they’re tall, thriving, and showing no signs of slowing down. The girls are reaching for the sky, tall, elegant, and stretching with no signs of slowing down. Each day they surprise me with just how much vertical growth they’re putting on. I’m curious (and a little nervous!) to see how big they’ll eventually get. Nutrients & Additives This week, we introduced a new layer to the feed program by combining Plagron additives with our existing Aptus lineup. Here’s the full mix (all at 1 ml/L): • Plagron Power Buds – Bud stimulator to support mid-flower. • Plagron Green Sensation – All-in-one bloom booster with PK, sugars, and micronutrients to push flower development. • Plagron Sugar Royal – Amino-acid-rich formula to help boost energy and aroma production. • Aptus Regulator – For plant strength, nutrient efficiency, and stress resistance. • Aptus CalMag Boost – Maintaining balanced calcium and magnesium levels under high growth rates. The idea is to test how the Plagron additives perform alongside Aptus products. So far, the results look promising. Training & Canopy Management No heavy training, just gentle leaf tucking. Large fan leaves are being bent or tucked under branches so light can reach the bud sites without removing too much foliage. This keeps the plant energy flowing while opening up the canopy naturally. Environment • Day Temp: ~26°C • Humidity: ~67% • VPD: ~1.10 kPa (not textbook perfect, but the plants are adapting beautifully) • pH: ~6.5 • Soil Moisture: Letting it dry down to ~19% before watering, sometimes even closer to 9% in hotter moments. Lighting & Gear The girls are thriving under the Future of Grow LED fixtures, with the filtered, even spectrum keeping the canopy happy. I’ve also introduced an automated irrigation system in the tents, still testing whether to fully hand over watering duties to the system or keep a hybrid approach with some hand-watering for closer control. Extras & Comfort Yes, I had a little fun with the camera this week, a casual photo session in the "studio" (plants only in their natural “outfits”), and a special shout-out to Zamnesia for their incredibly comfortable gear. Think rugby-polo style shirts, perfect for long hours in the grow or behind the camera. What to Expect Next Week • Expect: First signs of full flower set, with more defined pistils and the earliest stacking patterns starting to show. You may also see a slowdown in vertical growth as the plants redirect more energy to flower production. • Not to Expect: Heavy trichome development just yet, it’s still a bit early for full resin production, though sugar leaves may start to sparkle. • Keep an Eye On: Environmental stability. With humidity in the upper 60s, watch for microclimate pockets that could encourage mold once flowers start stacking. Closing Reflection From seed to now, this run has been a fast, exciting climb. A short veg, an early flip, and now a careful mix of trusted Aptus products with new Plagron additives, it’s been an experiment in precision and adaptability. All the girls in the tent were cooked due to the high light intensity. So I had to dim the light down this week. Under the hard conditions, they still grow beatiful flowers.

We think one of these lady’s are being thrown in to flower by me stressing it. I topped it and I think I shouldnt have , They originally got stunted due to environment technicality difficulties / grower error. Humdifier died , power outages the works , all sorts of obstacles have taken place . But we will see this through to the end for, learning and journal purposes. Happy grows

She popped through the soil in 5 days and is doing great so far. Stretched a little more than I prefer, but it may help with the LST bending I have planned. Just getting water so far.

Day 53 I dont know how i skipped a whole week? But it happens Plants are looking a little rough, i flushed 2-3 times with just greatwhite and water. Its weird because they got yellow so fast but the tips still look clawed im some spots so im scared to go back to full feed. Slowly added 1ml bioheaven and alga mic then 2ml/l bioheaven and alga mic. Tryingnto get back up to normal feeding

Day 7 of flower and it is responding beautifully to the flip!

Day 16-27/12/21 all looking good!!!! Day 20-31/12/21 still haven’t got space in other tent yet so hopefully can move half of them out this one next week!!!!

She is now coming into preflower and loving the new T5's. She is growing nice and bushy with future tops shooting for the stars. The stretch is definitely near. She will continue to be tied down and has been pruned and defoliated as needed to give her that sexy shape i want her to have in flower. Her terpines are beginning to be noticeable and is of lemons, earthy notes, and loud gas. She is now also getting kelp extract added to the nutes. She is growing very nicely and i could not be happier at the moment. So far OSSC has my attention as their phenotypes have been very nice.

I also made a new 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir, there was still 2850 ml in the reservoir, so i can calculate how much they get per watering. Day 63...buds fattening up nicely...currently experiencing worst pollution on the planet with AQI of 300+ for most of the week which i fear is affecting growth..,..the buds look a lot browner in the pics, than i reality.. due to the post-apocalyptical tinge to the sky as the sun sets, though the smog

Fed my girl her last flowering compost tea about 3 days ago. She is absolutely beautiful. Loving her environment and thriving. Bud production looks lovely and even producing tricomes already. I'm very please with this week. Will water with recharge on day 21 and then one last defoliation. Very easy going plant.

Gut

Day 63 - 28 of Flower Changes this week include adding a 4th Maxibright 315w lamp and Agro bulb. I wanted to run 4 but originally could only afford to buy 3. These retail at £250 each per kit so theres now £1000 just in lighting. A huge improvement to overall light spread around the plants and more light penetrating the canopy to the lower bud sights. I've also spent the weekend insulating my space for 2 reasons. Obviously temperature fluctuations being one. I found the temps were anywhere between 17 and 31 degrees throughout a 24 hour cycle and wanted to get a more consistent day and night temperature. With the extra light it needs to be cooler too. 2nd reason was humidity. With the great British weather being as damp as it is the night time humidity has been over 75% some days which now we are deep into flower could quickly lead to bud rot. Insulating the space and running my exterior AC unit has now got that figure to below 56% at all times. I'm very happy with that. Feeding ratio remains unchanged this week. I'm going to continue running the PK13/14 for at least another 7 days or untill the buds finish fattening out. Still feeding 6 litres every other day. No further training at this point just pulling a few colas out of the way of the fan and one main cola from directly under a lamp as it was burning. Also stretch has now finished which is a massive relief as I've no headspace left in the tent at all. I didn't have time to take many photos of the buds in the dark but the ones I have put on show just how frosty these stardawgs get! Really living up to their name considering they are only half way through predicted flower time. The only further upgrade I would like at this point is a proper co2 with digital regulator. I have however read that they dont benefit much from extra co2 from this point onwards?? What is everyone's thoughts on that? Obviously I have my natural co2 generator and will leave it in untill the end of the grow. I realise I really underestimated the size of these plants and 6 sativa dominant species is a stupid idea. The tent is just too packed so on the next run I'll opt for less and go with a scrog. Thanks for checking in! I cant wait to see how the next week plays out.
