First week of flower done. Girls are looking super happy and are going strong. I fed them with a very light mix of FPJ and some fish and seaweed mix. Next feeding will include some banana FFJ. I have removed all the lower branches and leaves, only keeping the top 3 nodes (on some I left a few more). At the end of the first week, they are stretching a bit and really filling up the space. Hopefully they won't be stretching too much.

Week 2 begins. Everything seems normal so far. Day 11: Have produced higher quality images and a video. Day 13: Growth accelerating. Weekly Summary: Enigma is right where she should be, as yet showing no significant dwarfism.

Mar 26 Fed a gallon of RAW GROW: about 15ml worth of nutrients. Continuing the LST. Mar 27 Going to have to look back into defoliation techniques here soon. She's like a forest under that canopy!

Start of Week 11. I'm DEFINITELY chopping this during this week. I have a photo in the tent with it, (also why it's been on 12/12 if you have been following along), and it's getting ready and I just want to dry it all at once so I can do a complete reset. SO... Well it's official the first week of flower is in the bag! All in all not an eventful week but it's always exciting to see the girls start their transformation to flower and seeing the stretch kick in! Netting is really filling in nicely, will be a good clean up job on fan leaves in a week or so. Did a diatomaceous earth treatment because I was noticing some fungus gnats still, had it on for 48 hours and since have not seen any new ones in the traps so 🤞. Added a 6" oscillating fan below canopy, should help keep temps even and keep bugs away. With all the trimming down there the fan doesn't even effect the leaves hahaha. Flower week 2 here we come!

Day 15. All girls will get either first or second feed. Upside down Kush was left in original pot, newwaver Kush was ripped with fingers from soil and transplanted to new pot, never will i have two plants in same pot ever again !!! And just couldn't throw out one ;))) Kushes got middle of the tent, think i will top them only, it will be too bushy with 11 heavily LST'ed plants. Think day 18 - first training day for 8 girls ;) Day 16. Girls are loving life - thats fact !. Now i have to rethink LST plan, thought to train them on day 18, but they grow so compact, that i have two options : A. Top them on 5 or 6 nod and train from there. B. Lift lights and induce vertical grow. But its such a tricky move, usually they repeate that overstreched patern even if you bombard them with light after ... C. Postpone LST to day 24-26. Never i did it so late, stem becomes very stiff, hard to bend her heavily ... Next few days will show ... Day 18. Girls are real beauty, they started to strech a bit, will give couple more days and will train them hard on monday. Day 20. Dice was rolled !!! LST !!! Girls are very compact, will be fun to veg them will have to plan well how to flatten up them. Kushes are behind, but i had to keep tent as dry as possible, need plants dry, otherwise stems crack from such heavy training. Put couple soft wires to lift leaves from soil .. Pure ph water and loads of spray now !!! Next few days will show ... Happy growing !!!

Hey guys, late into week 5 finally have some time to tend to the gals. It's been almost a week since I last watered them. We had 2 thunderstorms roll in so that kept the ladies quenched but when i went to check them out today most of them were pretty dry. Before I watered them, I topped off the soil level with some more promix hp and started our first topdressing. As usual 2tbs per gal @ 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284. I'm my case 21tbs to 9tbs. After that I water them with 50mL of molassas in 5gal of dechlorinated water with each plant raking about 3L of water. I also defoliated some under growth and to clean up the canopy to allow more light to penatrate prime grow sites. Last week I noticed some fungus gnats flying around, so I put up yellow fly traps with bamboo skewers (best way imo). I also did a preventive maintenance and watered the girls last week with neem oil soil drench to kill off any larvae or eggs that may have been laid. So good so far, as the traps did not have many gnats on them. Other than the usual pm items done, the ladies are taking off quite fast, so I need to stay ontop of things when I can! Midway through week 3 and things have taken off since I transplanted this past weekend! Still no nutrients added. Drilled holes in the sides...can't wait to tie them down. Side branching will do much better in the near future Sunday Feb. 10th update -It has been one week since I transplanted -plants have been tied down -trying to manipulate leaves so side branching gets light exposure -SECOND light is coming tomorrow -very difficult to get enough light on all 4 with 1 light -By the end of this week I plan on transplanting into Final Pots and prepare clones -Watch how crazy week 4 gets!

Ne Obliviscaris. Humidity Day 40-45%, Night 60-65% Internodes are very close together. was hitting 450umol at seedling level making it absorb more than it can use, reduced to 280-300umol @18 hours as expected vertical growth increased. During the 18 hours of daylight the first 9 is highly saturated in blue, 5000 kelvin, the 9 hours thereafter are closer to 3000 kelvin. Last 9 hours dosed 280nm. Height is too far to cause damage. UVB light is not detected by plants in the same way other wavelength/colours are. UV cannot be measured using umol as it doesn't drive photosynthesis. The plant has tiny little sensors that get set off to even little amounts, dimer salt bridges, the UV decays these salt bridges, which initiate response. You don't need large/long exposure doses for the plant to recognize UV is present. What's an enzyme? Think of it like a multiplier, you can add an enzyme to any particular biological process to vastly increase its proficiency at a particular process. Cannabis plants take blue/violet light and use it to create an enzyme called "photolayse". This allows the plant to repair UV damage done to the plant using a process called excision repair, this repairs the damage at a much much faster rate than it could by itself. Repairing 100% damage. The key is the plant needs time to build a reserve of the repair enzymes before using it. This is replicated in nature as, by midday UV levels peak, the generally cooler mornings allow lifetime to build up. The problem I encountered was dosing with 280nm lights on or 1 hour after the lights were on. Photomorphogenesis, the plant plans for the future of its growth, if the wavelength is not present during growth then how can it plan accordingly? The very presence of UV changes parameters with which the plant will grow, light itself dictates the growth pattern of the plant. Not only that it can dramatically alter the regular terpene profile of a strain in unexpected ways. Gran daddy purple grown using 280nm can triple already high terpene linalool. Linalool is terpene best known for lavender, largely responsible for its beautiful smell. Trouble sleeping you say? Having tried Durban poison from a dispensary and reading about its levels of tetrahydrocannabivarin. I've always wanted to taste the difference UV would make to such an already stand-out strain such as Durban.

Im thinking tonight’s will be the final water change given how things are looking. Probably harvesting in 7-10 days. Trichs are looking cloudy but no amber yet and still to many white pistils showing for harvest. The smell is pretty strong now. I installed a carbon filter and 6” inline fan to fix that since it was permeating the House. Within an hour the odor is completely gone. Bummer the cabinet doesn’t hide much but I understand why. The plant up front has markedly smaller buds and colas than the plant in the back still. I’m so ready to harvest and start planning my next grow. Thinking Pineapple Chunk?
