Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. I'm spending a few days earlier than expected in bloom! The plants look ready to me. I set my LED's to 50% which is about 800-850 PPFD I was still bothered by the pythium and I think it will bother me on the rest of the crop, but we keep it in cage with preventive treatments, evolution to follow closely... I stay at an EC of 1.9 Osmosis water : EC 0 Root rot X 1ml/L : EC 0.2 Sensi Bloom A and B 3ml/L : EC 1.7 TOTAL EC 1.9 The temperature of the water is ideal, 20°, thanks to the more clement outside temperatures. I'm not going to hide, I can't wait to restart the run to start a session without pythium 😅, I'm going to finish quietly and I'm thinking about the next strain I'm going to put for the next run, I won't do any more multistrain with this too complicated system. I will possibly add air stones inside each pot to have more oxygenation. For the strain I hesitate between : Sour diesel Riri Cut Pianono Rico Cut A preference that you want to see in the next culture journal?

Yo yo yo! Day 8 Evening fellow growers, a new week is here and these little ladies seem to be doing just fine. Watered today just hoping for some growth this week. I have attached a link below to RQS if you fancy having a look at there selection. You won’t be disappointed ✌️ Day 10, added a little heater into the mix. These ladies don’t seem to mind it at all. Happy with how they are progressing. ✌️ Day 11, gone to 18/6 DLI is 34. Watered with plain water tonight. ✌️ Day14, happy with how these girls are progressing, some good growth this week. Watered last night. 09/01/22: The plants have definitely stopped growing taller and now are just concentrating all their energy into the bud production. Trichomes everywhere and all over the sugar leaves. Had a look at a sugar leaf under the microscope - not cloudy enough to be ready. Should be done in a few more weeks. Slowly but surely some of the stigmas are turning orange though no brown trichomes yet. the humidifier is doing a great job of keeping the grow tent under 50% humidity. Despite having a 4 inch carbon filter and fan the smell is slowly but surely creeping out of the grow tent - I can but imagine the smell if there was no carbon filter or fan. Not much more to do but wait until the browners trichomes come and more stigmas start to flatten and some turn orange.

Hey guys idk what’s going on my autos it seems as if the Gelato and Zkittlez has just stop growing completely I mean there’s no change at all the Zkittlez Og is starting to fill in forming nice little buds but my other autos seems like they had stop completely I know the lifespan on the Gelato is 76-80 days from seed to harvest The Zkittlez lifespan said the same 76-80 days from seed to harvest Zkittlez Og lifespan is 80-90 days from seed to harvest And I know I’m for sure March 9th marked the 60th day on all autos and I know I stress the hell out of them overwatered etc but it looks as if I might only have one plant to successfully make it yet this is my first grow and why I choose to do autos first to give me a little insight on what I’m doing but I’m going to let these girls go for a full 90 days before I decide to trash em and focus purely on my clone grows

So despite many obstacles and hurdles, we are on the last week of flowering hopefully the heat stays down for the next few days, and I can get some color into these nugs the sativa Room may need a few more weeks no big deal. This is typical of sativa leaning strains. this will give me a bit of a stagger in between harvest so I don’t have to do all the work in one day which is a good thing .

Apple Fritter is off and going now. Is a little behind the others. She is growing good, and roots forming nicely. These girls have had a hard time dealing with my learning curb to soil/organic. This week they turned a page. The biggest ones nearly doubled in height. The one that got ate during week too has finally took off. I didn't top so we will see how that turns out letting her go all natural. Great week for the plants. Next week is going to be stupid hot but he's fastbuds can handle it.

What to say they have taken well to the transplant and both seem to be enjoying the bigger pots and tent ... The black sugar seems to be doing better and the cheese gave me three clones three days ago. I'm super excited about these strains here and the work out in will be returned 10 food cheers family ..

I put 12 seed and just one of them didn’t germinated not that bad. After 24 hours most of them show the little roots omino out of the seed and I directly put i the soil, to germinate I use just soil light mix, worm casting and myco.

During the first period of flowering they seemed a little bit slowed down..Now they're starting to swell pretty good! :D Atami products work very well!

7cm vertical growth this week! Nice flower development too! Starting to see a bit of purple on her flowers!

Grew nicely in the chalice and needed to be watered daily. Produced some beautiful buds and a pretty fat cola. Had no issues I had to worry about and overall grew a lot better than expected!

I thought I had major issues, and stunned this plant during growth. Apparently this plant is a very short strain. I didn't mess it up as bad as I thought. I did have issue with the grow. Bud smells very intriguing, and looks potent. I don't have much else to report, but am curious to how it smokes. Took 2 clones from my sunset sherbet this week towards the end of the week. There continues to be explosive growth with this plant. I plan on switching to flower in a month or so and we will find out how she really performs.
