My feed is pretty strong already. So I am not adjusting it yet. I will be going into more of a potassium rich diet while trying to reduce nitrogen levels once stretching is done. I defoliated today and will again more aggressively in 2 weeks. I wanted to open it up for the stretching in hopes it stays more in a bush or more even canopy. I will likely have to hst them if they stretch a lot. Time will tell of course. I’ll be using Cannakan for germination 3pm That was easy all done. 3/20 12am almost ready. 2am poured out the water put in new distilled water below the notch and we are good to go. Set at 88 for 78 target. 130 pm I got the dirt work finished. It’s the part that I hate the most. I try to keep it as clean as I can. They are ready to go. I’ll be putting them in the dirt in a little bit.👍👍👍 3/21 1am..... going to see if they woke up.. I put the dirt in without much mess. The dirt is clean and easy to work with. I poured CAREFULLY in lines in both directions of a red party cup of Rapid Start and pH 6.5 each💦. nothing yet, but gnats... 3/22 Surgery was a success times 3!!!! Explosive growth this week! Must of doubled in size. Some kind of hungry insects, caterpillars maybe? Minor leaf damage, nothing major. Going to keep up with Neam/Aloe/Kelp spray. No rain in the foreseeable future, 26c every day, early summer for sure. Doesnt appear to need any extra nutrients, will add some more Gaia Green next week. I've had Lupins here for the past few years, which are Legumes and have great nitrogen fixing qualities, not to mention this entire patch of land had 20 years of old decaying blackberry bramble which were cleared 3 years ago when we bought the place, and the soil is some of the richest I've ever seen. No shortage of Nitrogen in there. I'll be honest, this plant is twice the size this time of year then the last 2 years I've been growing outdoors. I'm a little concerned I'll need my ladder come Oct! I did FIM once earlier in the week, will FIM ever 2-3 weeks till July to try and keep the height under control.
