Hello Growmies, We have reached week 16 with our Epic Buzz plants, marking a significant moment in their growth journey. This week, Epic Buzz Pheno #3 showcased its beautiful floral maturity before it was harvested. The vibrant, frost-laden buds filled the tent with a sweet and pungent aroma, highlighting the strain's complex terpene profile. This pheno was particularly lush, sporting richly colored foliage and trichome-packed buds that are a testament to the careful nurturing it received throughout its lifecycle. Pheno #3 was harvested just after these last photos were taken, with a final wet weight of approximately 500 grams. The intricacies in the colors and textures of the buds were remarkable, showing hints of purple amidst the green, under a thick coat of crystalline trichomes. As for Pheno #1 and #2, they remain in the flowering stage, developing their profiles and will soon follow in #3’s footsteps to complete their cycle. We look forward to updating the final harvest weight once these remaining phenos have been processed. This stage is crucial as we observe the subtle differences between each pheno, helping in our ongoing efforts to optimize growth conditions and pheno selection for future cycles. I really like the colors coming out in these buds. They are getting more purple every day. Looks like they are going to stack up pretty fat too. I spread the plants out a little this week so they get better light and air flow. Other than that I haven't done anything besides keep the reservoir full. Still pumping nutrients 1 minute on 20 minutes off. They are getting .5 tsp maxibloom per gallon. Not going to run any boosters this round. They dont look like they want or need it.

Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

The week started off rough because I noticed light stress and what I thought to be a potassium deficiency. The growth was non existant, but after some research I raised my light from 36 - 40" and set the dimmer to level 4. On top of this I dropped the RH from 65 to 60 and once I did this within the next hours I saw the leaves begin to purk back up. This was also my 1st time feeding my plants a compost tea which I made from Green waste compost, bio char, bokashi, fish hydrosolate powder, azomite, langbanite, humic acid, Fish Sh!t, insect frass, and kelp meal. I airated the compost tea in a 5 gallon bucket for 24 hours before drenching the soil with it, and I added some Recharge by Real Growers after the compost tea. This week's IPM; -Mosquito bits -Regalia -Venerate -Attak

Building the RDWC set up was quite the process. A couple minor leaks, but I was able to take care of them. I'm now 11/11 in rapid rooters so I won't suggest anything else. No pre germination. I prepared the rooters, put the seeds in, and 3 days later they came up. This is my 3rd run using the same batch of 50 rapid rooters. I freeze the extras and pull them out a day before use. Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Didnt take a ton of photos this week. But flipped the light schedule to trigger flowering. The canopy has filled out beautifully. If i was more patient I would have vegged for a week or two more.

day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.

The Apple Betty babies have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. Can’t wait till the weekend, my big tent will be cleaned and ready to go for these girls, they are growing so fast! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
