Transfer to 3-gallon pot

This plant has been going strong for sometime now. I’m starting this grow diary so soon because I need to keep track of how much longer I have until it’s ready for harvest. I already forgot what day I switched to bloom lol. But I’ll be posting weekly. With better pictures.

13/6: the light change worked incredibly well!! Switching from 75W(drawn 35W) to 1000W(drawn 120W) helped the flowers develop incredibly well in the past 7 days, now I can call them proper BUDS!!! Now, technically next week (Wednesday) is supposed to be harvest day from my original plan, but I worry that the 2-ish weeks that the plant stayed stunned may increase this period, I'll keep a close eye on the colour of the thrychomes, if they don't start turning amber this week I might push it another two. Now that humidity is correct and the flowers are growing, the plant started drinking WAY more, and now the usual 1L every two/three days just isn't enough, so I switched to 2L of PHd water at a 6.3/6.5 range every 48 hours, and I have a feeling that in the next week I may have to start water it every day as it keeps increasing its flowers. VERY excited for the next 14 days, can't believe its been almost a 4 months journey, I really want to see those buds fatten up :)

For my second grow, I am OVER THE MOON!! I just yielded 16.1 ounces (wet trimmed) from a single lady in a small 23"x19" x 48" DIY tent. The strain; Mandarin Cookies v2 from Ethos Genetics, was very easy to manage and did not have any issues even in my small space. It was really difficult to determine the run time, it suggested 9 weeks from the breeder, I ended up going almost 13 weeks!! the trichomes stayed white

Moved lights and used "Korona" a light PPFD app, and placed everything a little better. 9/28 - Day 37: All is good, the little shits are growing like crazy. Also, my first time using trellis netting and it's amazing. It's LST without the wires and I can do kind-of a ScRoG (not a literal one) by having the stems grow out horizontally for a period of time. Really cool!

***** Week 10 growth - February 13 to 19, 2021 - Week 2 Flower ***** Mandarin Mimosa is certainly growing beautifully!!! MM1 has been strong and a taller grower from the start. MM2 however has taken off in stretch.......she is also being grown in a 3gal pot so she will be slightly smaller than MM1. These are 1:1 girls but I am really looking forward to smoking this strain😍👍 The terps should start coming out more over the next couple of weeks, Terpinator being added now as well to assist with aromas. Tips up on these girls almost all day long, they are the happiest in the tent this week😂😂 2nd SCROG layer in now....finally😞 Lots of work to do in cleaning up the lower leaves next week. Will do larger leaf strip and lolipoping when they start focusing more on bud development. Light is at 24” only pulling 310 watt, and the meter at the tops of the girls is roughly 28,500LUX. It is feeling like it’s a little strong for them but it’s close......the curling leaves is slowly increasing on the tops. By the end of the week we are at 400watts and reading 38,500LUX, this should be roughly 980 umol/s/m2.......over 900 and less than 1,000.......should be good for going into week 3. Nutrients switched over to flower schedule and following week 2.....but so-called back a couple of items. Adding some other items beyond IPP line so backing off some of the ppm to compensate. Still only one “feeding” per week. Early flower so hitting the microbes a little harder this week and next and then slowly start backing off. I like Remo’s Natures Candy for sweetener because it has humic, sweetener and old school molasses, amongst other things to feed the microbes as they are in coco. Bud Fusion being used now for pk boost.........no more “red kool-aid”😂 Still adding Rezin from Green Planet becuase it seems to boost my trichome quantity.....Terpinator likely this week as well......increase some of the sulfer to increase aromas. Little more detail....... Feb 13/21 - Day 8 - 3.5L watering with CalMag @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Resin @ 1.5ml Feb 14/21 - Day 9 - 2nd SCROG added today.....finally. Plucked a bunch more leaves in the process - watering with microbes only today. Recharge has some molasses in it so just adding that. - 4L water for these girls with Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 320ppm and 6.0pH Feb 15/21 - Day 10 - today is big feed day....its been 7 days. - 3L each girl with all the IPP line as listed plus silica @ 1ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml. (Bud Fusion was 0.2gr/L) - 1325ppm and 6.0pH - Girls gave run off at 3L today so didn’t push past that. Feb 16/21 - Day 11 - some feed left from yesterday so added 6L of plain water to dilute it and watered into the girls tonight. - 3L full feed of nutrients for each girl - 800ppm and 6.1pH Feb 17/21 - Day 12 - 3L each girl with Terpinator and CalMag @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1ml, Recharge @ 1/2 tsp/gal - 775ppm and 6.1pH - increased light power to 350 watts. Now at 32,500LUX.......take it slow over the next week and keep creeping up. Leaves have a bit of a taco shape coming out and looking fairly serrated at the edges.....pushing the light intensity on the tops👍 - leaf colour on the girls is very good......tips are not burnt either. Feb 18/21 - Day 13 -3L each girl of plain water today - added beneficial bacteria and enzymes @ 1.5ml - 330ppm and 5.9pH - was looking for a little lower pH as I have not been checking runoff. - have to do a leaf strip this weekend......start of week 3. - light power increased again, 400 watts now. Feb 19/21 - Day 14 - day out day.......they have not had one in a bit. - humidity was higher today as door to grow room closed today to assist clones with more humidity. So that takes us through two weeks of flower now. Not knowing these girls enough yet, I suspect feeding will stop at the end of week 6. That leaves four more weeks. I will treat the next two weeks like mid flower for nutes, and the following two weeks as late flower. Feed supplements accordingly. These two girls are very happy and looking like we should get some nice colas from MM1!! They are rocking ETS.......looking forward to seeing the bud swelling next couple of weeks💪👍👊

Getting a growth spurt on switched to flower mode on the 600w led, installed the extractor and carbon filter as it's getting to smell a little fruity even at this stage. Lite feed in this early stage with the listed nutes, seem to be responding well. 17/10 Defoliated today and made a CBD smoothie from the lower canopy with almonds, apple, lemon and lime, the leaves were very fresh, it was pretty nice. Well here we are at day 35 and my girl is turning into a stunning looking young lady :) This c4 has surprised me and is growing with such speed and vigour producing budding sights like there’s no tomorrow :) I can start to see some purpling already even in these young immature buds :) I can’t wait for her to fatten up and fill with resin and trichome’s , Update on day38 and the C4 is looking amazing she is starting to take on some lovely purple colouring :)..

I'm pretty much on auto pilot at this point.. im still just feeding compost extracts to keep it simple. There's a couple things I want to point out this week; I've also included a video of my cheese auto and no extra cost to the reader 😅🤣 PROCESS/ENVIRONMENT CHANGES - I've lowered the temp inside my tent a little bit to help keep my VFD between a good range for flower (1.0 - 1.5). I also changed the RH on my humidity controller when the temperature goes down after the lights go off. It's kind of a hassle but it's the only way I can stay in the range I'm looking for. - I've started to raise the pH of my water slowly... I want it to be between 6.6. And 6.8 at this point. - I've increase all my lights.. my Sf4000 is at 85% intensity and both my Ts1000s are sitting at around 75% intensity. - I've increased all my fans running. My intake is maxed out, my exhaust is on '6' and my fans inside my tent are all maxed out.. the cheese auto is drowning my entire house out hahaha its crazy. -I've cut off a whole bunch of fan leaves, larf, bottom branches and a bunch of other unwanted stuff.. I'm hoping that she thickens up fairly like some of her sister's in the tent 🤞 cutting off all the unwanted junk might help at least move more air at the bottom of the canopy.. at most it will help direct energy to other parts of the plant therefore producing a better flower. If she does fill out I'll have to support her side branches so they don't fall over. - Every day I rotate the plants in my tent so that the get to experience the light in different ways. Slowly slowly catchy monkey 😂 looking good for its final week, pistils are now starting to change colour. Fox tail is still present but not too bad. This week will be the time for the snip following magnesium deficiency and a flush of 0 ppm water via 7 stage filter.

FBA2502 Plants 1-6 Week 7 May 11– 17 FLOWER 3 Nutrients : Micro 25 ml Gro 10 ml Bloom 30ml CalMag 30 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 16.5ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/11 PH 6.56, PPM 1560, temp 69 2ltr each 5/12 PH 6.31, PPM 1120, temp 68 1 ltr each 5/14 PH 6.66, PPM 1280, temp 70 1 ltr each 5/15 PH 6.66, PPM 850, temp 72 1 ltr each 5/11 Defoliation, feed, pics & videos I made 4 gallons, used 3 to water then poured the runoff back into the rest in the bucket. The next feeding, I added a gallon of tap water to residual and ph to 6,31 temp 69 & PPm 1120. Did the same on 5/14 and 15 using up the remainder of the feed solution. I must monitor and control the tent environment manually. For the past month, the humidifier has been an issue putting out way too much humidity; often leaving water in the bottom of the tent. In addition, the temperatures are also out of control. I added an AC last week to keep the temperature below 80. I finally determined the exhaust vent is also broken and has been for some time. I have been giving good reviews on the AC infinity system. However, during the time I’ve owned this tent (2 yrs), I had to replace the lights twice, fans, humidifier and now the vent twice also. Everything but the tent containment has been replaced. AC infinity does stand by their products, but they are in California, and it takes at least 2 weeks to receive the replacement. This is extremely frustrating at the critical transition to flower for my equipment to fail again. For the time being until a replacement arrives, I pulled the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3 and hooked it up. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This should create a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. I do have 3 circulating fans in the tent to move air around the plants. It looks like growth spurts have slowed and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All of them (6) are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. The tallest #4 &5 and #6 have very light leaves and appear nutrient deficient compared to the shorter phenotypes. Pictures taken later in the week show fading on a few the older leaves. All are receiving the same solution and are in the same soil blend. Moving the gals in and out of the tent for their glamor shots, I bent one limb and snapped another. The bent one I taped with a splint and the snapped one I medicated manuka honey and wired it back to the main stalk. Leaves look like sativa leaning. I hope FBA2502-2 is a good daytime. I’m getting excited to see what develops in the next month or so. News Break: I’ve been informed that 2502 is FastBuds New Frostbanger and is indica for nighttime. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a sativa to test because I really need a daytime strain. The 2 Blue Cheese plants I just grew are also nighttime. Upon opening the tent, a faint odor was detected, and some stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. Pictures of the puffy buds even show differences. #4 &5 buds hairs are different from the others being crinklier and the others are straighter. Some like #2 &5 are showing frost on the leaves. Wow at the beginning of flower to have that much frost. They are living up to the new strain’s name. I’ve noticed that when I water, sometimes water shoots out of the side holes I the air pots. Buenos días familia, volvemos con la cuarta semana de floración con nuestras skunk de zambezaseeds y hay que recalcar que esta variedad tiene una rápida floración, apostaría Que será lo primero que cortemos. El ph está controlado en 6.5 a partir de esta semana añadimos overdrive en nuestros riegos. Temperatura y humedad ideales para la Avanzada etapa de floración. Esta cepa es bastante resistente y Fácil de cultivar , os la recomendaría sobretodo a cultivadores novatos, y no tan novatos claro , ya que se valora mucho una floración rápida en indoor.

DAY 62 1 day early of start of new week, just waiting for some more ambers, nearly ready🎉 Still running RO only, 40 PPM. Still keeping it pH’d, it likes to drop slowly still. However, I don’t get why pH is important during flush tho. Not like I need to keep nutrients available for plant to suck up... 🤷‍♂️ I’ve been considering drilling some holes into the base of the main stem as to simulate the stalk-splitting technique. Maybe it’ll help speed things up... I’ll check trichs again tonight when lights kick on and make an executive decision and post updated pictures if it’s a go ahead. Day 63 I split me some stalks! Uploaded a video of the procedure. Day 64 This phenotype is developing purple leaves? Photos uploaded. Day 65 Harvesting... Day 66 More Harvesting... Day 67 Taking clones, moving veg plants to bloom tent. This grow is drying.

The plant has a few retarded leafs for whatever reason, but it's healthy in color and still growing. Nothing to report about though.

So I found my issue with my droopy leaves and light leaves. Not enough water and she wants more phosphorus. I up'ed my water time to 15 mins 7x a day. (Ebb & flow in clay pellets). This week she has gotten most of her green back but I feel it's delayed the flowering alittle. Maybe not. This is my 1st auto and it's only supposed to have a week left. We will see.
