Last two weeks ive been lowering down the PPM close to 0 but right now is at 842PpM And I am going to continue lowering down thru this week til closer to zero. But for the very last week I am going to apply some extra molasses and some other techniques to see what happens... Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. 6/28/24 she was about 16 inches before I tried some lst. she wasn't as bendy as before so it turned into supercropping which is fine. after transplant, she wasn't happy at all and I couldn't seem to figure out what was going on. I believe her soil is too compacted and I tried using perlite on top of the soil to top dress easier but it just held a ridiculous amount of water underneath. it became like 3 inches of just perlite and I think she was drowning. she's starting to perk up and be happy again.

This one has the frost, makes me want to bust out the bubble bags and hash her out! Another that's been very simple to grow, easy feeder and not to picky on anything else. Super dense nuggies with that lovely purple hint to them, an ode to her Purple Haze lineage, with a very earthy, almost nutty aroma. Another day or so then I'll swap out the nutes for some flawless finish (10/14) and properly flush her out. I have to bet this one's gonna be an evening indulgence. Please do yourself a favor and visit the HBS site and give Geoff's work a run in your tent, I promise you'll be in awe of his selected crosses from some of the most prestigious breeders out there.

The girls have all shown sex now and are starting to smell dank, smell definitely leans more towards the OG Kush side; and judging by the fat fans leaves I’d say the grow more towards that side too

Week 11, As you can see with the pictures, she has some nutrient burn :( I unfortunately gave her too much nutrients. I knew this strain was sensitive to nutrients because of the 2Fast4buds strain video but I did not know what was too much or not. If I was to grow this strain again ,I would probably switch up nutrients every other watering and not every watering as I did. As a result of the burn, I used some ClearEx in hopes that the leaves will turn back to green. The plant seems to be responding well to the treatment being on 2/17 and all. My plan is to water the plant on 2/19 with only water to flush the plant some more. Hopefully by 2/22 I can give the plant some finishing bud density nutrients for a week or two and then flush time. I am nowhere near a master grower and every mistake is a learning experience :) Let me know if you have any questions/ comments/ concerns. Good luck with everybody grow! I’m still not sure about the FIM job on the LSD, and the purple haze is looking a bit runtish, but we’ll see how they go. I cut some leaves on the PH today to give the bud sites beneath them more light. All in all, they are doing well I think.

I’m just happy I’m this far along with these two! Well I’m shocked that one of them is still trying to stretch so late into the grow. Otherwise I’m excited for flowers.

On day 67 of flowering I chopped both plants. Trichomes were mainly milky with some amber. After the chop both plants were hung upside down in the grow tent. The humidity ranges between 57-61 % at 18-20 degrees celcuis. The buds should be dry in about 14 days.

Week 4, May 2 to 8/20**********Days 22 to 28 from germination********* Fighting pH with numbers of 7.1 still coming out after putting in 4.5 for days and never given over 6.1 from the start?? Its time to rule out the damn pots as the issue because there is simply nothing else left......coco with perlite flushed from the start.....feed never over 6.1?????? How is run off staying so high even after several waterings of 4.5pH. They are only three weeks when this issue became apparent. I had cut slits in the bottom of the pots to aid in further drainage???? I transplanted the Fast Buds girls into 3 gal plastic pots. They are fighting the pH issues more than the other girls and will I pick on the weaker ones.......unfortunately its these ones. Plus since GSC is a longer running strain In this grow I figured these girls may have the most time to make up from any shock. GSC went well and she came out of the fabric pot well and into the new one. They were both exactly 10” across so I cut the whole fabric pot in half with razor knife while holding together. First girl fell right down in and went okay!!!! Cool👍👍👍 GSC2 on the other hand had more of an F U attitude about it all😡 Followed the same process but she didn’t’ come right apart nicely like the first one. She fought one side of the pot and in hind sight I should have cut a plus symbol or star pattern in the bottom of the pot rather than just the one slice.......It wouldn’t give right on the bottom of the pot on one side. When it finally did the roots came up from the bottom and she was flipped inside the medium..........basically worst case scenario 🤬🤬🤬 So what can you do.......you show her some extra love❤️ and talk softly to her😚 and promise to make her healthy👊 and strong💪 and never to hurt her agian😍😍🤞 Little more detail......... May 2/20 - Day 22 - 2L feed for each girl with CalMag @ 0.5ml, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Piranha, Voodoo, Dual Fuel @ 1ml = 625ppm and 5.0pH - runoff numbers: - GSC 590ppm with 7.3pH - GSC2 580ppm with 7.2pH - why so high damn it?? May 3/20 - Day 23 - 6L mixed with Vitathrive, VeloKelp, Sensyzime @ 2ml, Piranha, Voodoo @ 1ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - 3L given to each girl. - GSC girls have perked up the last three days. - GSC2 is getting wider but not taller. - Runoff numbers: - GSC - 725ppm and 6.9pH - GSC2 - 650ppm and 6.8pH - thinking that cheap fabric pots are the issue with high pH I am going to transplant two of the four girls into plastic pots and see how that goes. - GSC transplant went well. - GSC2 transplant not so well.......she caught the edge coming out of the old pot and her root mass became all twisted😞😞😞 May 4/20 - Day 24 - dry out day and leave them alone after being so shook up yesterday. May 5/20 - Day 25 - gave a small plain water feed of 2L each with ph to 5.0 - water and left them alone again today. May 6/20 - Day 26 - Feed day again. 1.5L each for each girl with Dual Fuel, Vitathrive @ 1ml, CalMag, VeloKelp @ 0.5ml = 675ppm and 5.1pH - the girls are working through it......just give them time. May 7/20 - Day 27 - simple feed today with VeloKelp @ 1ml and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 165ppm and 5.0pH - each girl given 1L. - GSC is looking like she is fighting back and starting to see her increase in size. - GSC2 is also coming along because her dying leaves are also starting to perk up. - Did some some stem twisting on GSC to help strengthen her stock. May 8/20 - Day 28 - Dry out day - The girls are doing well with the Kelp and while they are not much bigger they look healthier! - GSC2 low branches are not sitting in soil anymore👍 Cheers Growmies........have a great week!!!!!
