Day 42 Flowering and the frosty monster has paid a visit. The glistening of the trichromes when the light hits them right. The Red hot cookie looks so good bud wise and I am gutted to not have a full version to sample. The same with the sweet Afghani Delicious too. They should offer a few joints but that will be about their total. Amnesia Haze is absolutely stomping it now.. Her bud growth has been excellent this week and they started their swelling a few days ago. The Los at 60Lstruggled to keep the. fed so I have also introduced the shogun sumo boost and pk warrior 9/18. She has now got a lot of frost on her mains and sugar leaves but is till producing fresh happy white pistils daily. She has at least 2 weeks left tobswrll before the ripening starts. Her buds are rock solid to touch and give off a fruity/diesel terpene smell. seeing her many mains and the beautiful buds she is producing now is a welcome site. She has spread out excellent for the lights footprint and seeing all those side branches become such full mains is a relief. I love this strain to grow so far . Seeing how well she stacks up for long colas is an inspiration for future grows and certainly a new growers dream 1st grow. She is an hungry lady and easily takes the full 8L of feed every other day with just a touch of run off. I plan to do a controlled drought for approx 8/9 days at day 49 amd then a last feed before harvest following. There is a lot of study results to suggest this increases thc content and oils similar to stem splitting and other methods , so I thought I would give this a go too. Lets see how it works.... Another new thing with this grow is how it will be grown under the new LED's by Medic Grow. They will be under MINI-SUN 2 240W LED grow lights using their V1 Spectrum, Its good from seed to harvest. You can find more information about this in the foot note. Just going to wait for another week till It pops up and will update as follows. Watered in with PH of 6.2 and a EC of 0.6 or 340ppm 500 scale. Well 2 got chopped down as the trichomes were nice and milky. The other 2 I completely defoliated and gave a good shot of nutes. The roots seemed a little on the moist side. 1 plant gave 147grams wet the dark plant gave 155 grams of wet.

1/17 - Entered Week 3 Today, Everything is going good so far. Just have been watering with fish tank water only. I have been adjusting plant ties so the light penetrates lower branches, in hopes of more tops. I have also been leaf tucking and adjusting lower branches over bigger leaves. #1 is growing at a pretty fast pace, faster then others, and is showing signs of multiple branches coming to top, #2 is doing good, I have been trying to get more light to lower branches, hopefully in the next few days will see progress, but overall it is growing at a good rate. #3 is doing alright, its growing at an okay pace, I started LST on it yesterday and have noticed branches emerging. #4 is still quite small, but growing at an alright rate, when it's a little taller will attempt LST. Overall, everything is going great! 1/18 - Yesterday I discovered white specks on leaves, did some research, one thing I found that could've been issue was my humidifier running tap water, I immediately cleaned out humidifier and filled with distilled water. After doing that did further inspection I saw a gnat in soil, only seen one so I killed him, turned off lights and fans, sprayed neem oil spray on soil and over plants very lightly, turned on fans , let dry for about 15mins and turned light back on. I did some research on neem oil and what I understood is that it's okay to use in veg but not quite flowering. Hoping this will be the last time using it, going to get sticky traps for future. Going to keep an eye on white specs and make sure they don't get worse, some wiped off but others didn't. #1 is starting to show pistil hairs. Everything still the same, added a very small amount of calmag to fish tank water in jug. 1/19 - Not to much to update , just have been filling humidifier, and watering. Tent is staying 80 degrees and 70% humidity VPD around .9-1. The white specks on leaves aren't going anywhere, but I don't notice any additional specks. 1/20 - Mid-day - Last night around midnight I started LST with #4, her lower branches looked like they had some growth so hopefully we get some good results with it. I've been adjusting canopy, bringing branches to open spots. Watered full pot today with just fish tank water, pot was a bit dry. Ordered Branch benders and Trellis net last night hopefully it comes just in time. 1/21 - Received Trellis net today, Going to attempt SCROG, This will be my first time attempting will see what the results will be and if it's helpful, If you have any tips or suggestions let me know. I put around 4inches above canopy's, so hopefully in a few days will get to toggle with branches. Tomorrow, I have adjustable, and 90 degree branch benders coming in, will be testing those out also. Everything is going smoothly so far. Even though they are on the cheaper end, they still seem to get the job done. Plants haven't met Trellis net yet, but hopefully in a few days #1 will start getting ready to train on SCROG. I'm very excited for week 4 and really can't wait for what it's going to bring. Also, while writing this, I did have some sad news, While attempting to LST a smaller branch, I accidently got to rough, and it broke off, my first lesson. Since then, I've been being a lot more careful with these girls knowing they are about to enter flower. She has been the queen of the family since the first week, she stood out above all for speed, reaction to toppings and beauty. Truly a super strain for Zamnesia has managed very well every time we have raised it even in difficult conditions. It has a heavenly smell, one of the strongest ganje like smell, very sweet, caramel that very much reflects the original essence of one of the most classic strains found in California.

Week 4’s in the box and these plants are lightning quick outta veg. We’ve confirmed the presence of at least 3 males and 1 guaranteed female so far. They’ve all started to hit vegetative maturity in full stride so it won’t be long until we look to flip. A couple have been topped once more for the sake of additional colas and if we get lucky, the remaining females may be suitable for a scrog. Either way, can’t be much happier about how well they’re growing at this stage. Here’s hoping it remains so through flower🤞. ***Notes: strongest plant to this week is first confirmed female. Prob a prime candidate for cuts and back pollination with the F1 pollen dump.***

The girls come back inside when the weather is uncooperative. Indoor temp is around 70 and humidity around 60-65%. Otherwise pretty much the same as prior weeks.

Well CDG#4 had gotten so bushy it was messing up the netting and it was getting very hard to tuck due to all the growth. So I had planned on doing the 1st major defoliation a week after I flip but decided to do it early or risk something happening to my girl. So I did it Thursday night after Thanksgiving dinner. Damn did she protest the next few days. It's Sunday night and she has bounced back 200%. Just like they like to do. So flipping her to flower tonight. Nov 27th. Just replaced her water with the flower nutes. Also go my new cogs and parts in so I finished the light upgrade. It's pvc & alum. Angle so it's super ghetto. But it works and works awesome. 376 watts on high. Measured at the outlet. 8 citizen1048 cogs 3500 full spectrum. These have huge as heat fins. And at $18 each fin it's by far the most expensive part of the build. I've got 8 of them.

my dry and cure style is this: 4 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 4 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. buds are one of the hardest as fucking rocks type of buds! very dense , compact , sticky , smelly , amazing at every aspect growing stage was 56 days and flowering stage was 75 days total (harvested tops at day 64th) the total weight of dry buds was : (plant #1 & #3 top buds 56 G + lower buds 22 G ) 78 G + (plant #2 top buds 47 G + lower buds 18 G ) 55 G + (plant #4 top buds 120 G + lower buds 67 G ) 187 G = 367 G
