Another week of slow but steady growth for these 2. Just like with the other grow, I moved from 7l plastic pots to 11l fabric pots. The extra size will force me to be more diligent about the height. This one is not an auto so I will probably do a second round of topping, it depends on how fast and branchy these plants end up being.

Impressive how this plant managed to grow despite the few hours of light .. I guess what it could do with a better season than this year (there has been a lot of rains) and in a place where it grows with constant light.. anyway I am very happy with her, I would also say proud of how the growth went. In the last few weeks, as you can see, the plant has suffered an attack by caterpillars that have eaten some of its leaves in a short time, the plant has remained very strong anyway. I tried to remove them manually until they disappeared completely Before proceeding with the cut, I put the plant in the dark for 48 hours, further stressing it by shocking the roots with ice cubes. I've never used these two methods, but I've heard a lot about them. some say it is useless while others say that these methods work to increase the production of trichomes and terpenes. Moved them inside last week and then chopped one down. Rot was taking over quickly. Buds hadn’t fully formed underneath but the main colas and tops were ok. Bit disappointing but the weather has just been terrible where I am this autumn 😂 what can you do.

Day 21: They did grow a bit. The weather continues to be bad. It's like 10 to 12 degrees at night and daytime it is like 15 to 20. It will stay like this for another 2 weeks. There is not much I can do for now like LST because they are not stretching, neighter the newer branches. Hopefully they will grow larger but I don't expect them to be maximum size at week 2 of flowering. I expect them to pre-flower in like 7 to 14 days. Until next week!

She is doing well and continue to stack on buds, I continue to fed her the same schedule and dosage of nutes, it seems to be working well. Topping didnt seem to stunt the grow. On Day 15, i added some training stakes. This being my 2nd grow overall, i couldve done way better there, as youll see in the coming weeks. Plant A has had one Sidenode growing faster than the opposing one and it led to a bit of asymmetrical grow, though thats my mistake, not the BPPs. also, for future grows, i'd train the top nodes down even further, as they would soon overtake the other ones. I planned to have 4 main stems but ended up with a weird 2-2 hybrid, lol. But oh well! you live and learn haha. i ramped up the ppfd to around 500. Again, they probably couldve easily taken more. i watered 1.5 Liters on Day 15 - Giving 2.5 ml/L of rootjuice this time and ramping up biogrow to 2 ml/L. This was the first time i had a little bit of runoff to measure the drain ph, which was 5.9 and 5.7 respectively, quite ok, but a tad on the low end for my taste, so for future waterings i reminded myself to give slightly higher input ph.

Die Große zeigt schon seit letzter Woche Mangelerscheinungen und doch hab ich wie von Anfang an beschlossen nur mit dem Living Soil und Wasser zu Arbeiten, ganz nach dem Motto von Florganics „Flo & H2O“ Ausserdem ist Blütetag 43 und somit werden die letzten Störenden Blätter entfernt für den Endspurt.

I had a burn on my central plant, close to the apical top ... I'm really angry. I admit it, I was an idiot to tinker too much with the lights, and this served me as a lesson .... aaaahh how bad it is when you are inexperienced ... but how do you say: "wrong you learn" .... do not worry ... we are on the wave of the harvest !!

Another wonderful auto to run and what a terp monster she turned out to be. Every square inch of her was covered in trichomes. Her yield is impressive, Weighting in a 73g of flower and 23.9g of trim. She’s a bit of a mess after changing res for a flush , will need to sort out something easier next time . Also wish I had scrog to make better use of this little light , Day 83 started a flush , will part harvest in a few days as I’m going away, buds could be better they are somewhat sticky pistils look ready , Ordered a loupe a little late . has been a good learning experience, Notes - don’t over do nutes early - change res more frequently - try lollipop and use a scrog - invest in a higher watt light for yield and tighter bud , - don’t grow near summer heat major issue , autumn and spring more ideal

Mar 31st Week 16 Changed nutrients to straight Dense Bud Compactor 1 gram/ litres @ 900-1000 ppm for 2 days CR # 1 showing signs of root wrought I removed the slimy parts of the roots and will watch closely On April 2nd I will add the rest of the nutrients to the existing solution April 2nd Fresh nutrients today, all nutrients added 8 litres of fresh water + 6 litres of the existing Dense Bud solution @ 1100 ppm CR # 1 is dying due to root wrought I removed most of the roots today. I changed all the water today with this one. I’m hoping to get it to harvest, but things don’t look good. I will probably flush this soon to harvest what I have. CR # 2 is doing fine as far as roots. Buds are smaller on this one but may fill out more with the Dense Bud Compactor. April 6th Switched CR # 1 to flush solution Root wrought was sever and unfortunately 90% of the root mass had to be removed Time to save what I have

When I began the contest I had only grown Magic Melon once before (last winter), it grew in an 18 litre pot, became around 4 feet tall, and completely filled a 3'x3' tent. A friend of mine successfully grew a seed I gave them this summer in a container about 4 litres and the plant was considerably smaller. The fact that it can be successfully grown in less than 250mL is astonishing, I have buds from the one grown last winter that are bigger than the can I grew this one in. Harvested 91 days from sprout.

Dass ich eine Pflanze toppen werde, davon haben mich Sebastian und Bernie von FastBuds mich nach ihren professionellen Antworten in ihren letzten deutschen Livestream überzeugt. Meine erste Wahl wäre die Z-UP Auto gewesen, da ich davon noch einen weiteren Samen habe. Doch als ich heute das Zelt öffnete und sie mir anschaute entdeckte ich schon die ersten weißen Haare an der Z-UP Auto und somit ist es mir dann doch zu riskant. Die Purple Haze Auto wird nicht getoppt da sie eh schon einen kurzen Lebenszyklus hat und ich auf ein frohes Farbenspiel hoffe. Somit blieb mir nur noch die Frostbanger Auto und Schnipp, Schnapp der Kopf ist ab ✂️🌿 Jede Pflanze wurde mit 1,5 Liter Nährstofflösung gegossen. ( 1,5 Liter Chlorfreies Wasser + 1,5 g Bactrex + 3 ml Orgatrex + 2ml Bio PK 5-8 ) Zu guter Letzt wurden alle drei Damen noch mit 5 ml / Liter Biotabs Boom Boom Spray eingesprüht.
