LCC2 is very close now. She'll get harvested by the end of next week. LCC1 builds a beautiful canopy. The smell is gorgeous and the plants are still very healthy. I never had the need to completely flush the system. I lower the nutrients gradually, (N, P, K) but keep the humic acids and enzymes, the maintain soil activity.

This plant seems to have grown much denser and better than my first plant. I just got the ac infinity ventilation setup with controller 69 for my 2x2, still trying to learn, hopefully grow #3 goes even better. Stay tuned

All the plants are building buds. Gave them a little beastie bloomz. I cut them off the maxigro today since the leaf tips are burning. Other than that everything is going smooth.

This was a fun project that was a few years in the making and a year later to see if they would last a season for this upload to happen. Before any of this I would bike aorund town grabbing up all the old Ikea solid pine bed slats that I could find and storing them in the basement. I have a lot of wood down there, any size worked as long as I have enough of them. The hot days to find them were the first and last of the months because that's when people where moving in/out. I also kept an eye on the free section on local online classifieds as well. The entire purpose of this was to recycle as much off the streets as I could before buying anything to finalize the project. In the end I only bought sealer, screws and some takeaway/beers. All the wood was 100% free and salvaged off the streets of Toronto saving it from the dumpster bin. After collecting all the slats for about 2 years I was playing aorund with them on how I wanted to make this work. I had previously done a little project like this before but I messed it up and the boxes where crap. did not last longer then 2 seasons, they where thin and shallow as well could not grow much of anything in them. I Was talking to my friend who is renovating their house and we brainstormed some ideas on the boxes, I found some designs I liked online and said lets make something like this out of what I have here. We tossed out a few of the design features when looking at them as it would have been wasted wood and extra work not needed. If I had more wood them maybe it could have been an option but simple was the name of the game. They taught me what I needed to know like how the miter saw and sander worked, plus all the other tools I was using. They did help out with a table saw and creating the triangle support joints in the corners, They used some pine left overs they had while making a staircase indoors. I did not feel up to the task of using a table saw given all the relatives I know who have lost a finger to them. In the end we decided the design would be three boards high and take an alternating pattern on corners. layer one short, layer 2 long, layer 3 short. Went with a galvanized and painted deck screw so it can take the weathering. Ran into some problems like making everything level as some of the boards were warped and other ones had undesired aspects like knots and tacky sticker goo I could not remove. So I used them for the base that will not been seen so much. Clamped everything down and called it a day. Once it was all done and over with, I then brought them back home from my buddies work garage and started to seal them. I went with a boiled linseed oil as its a food safe option should the wood degrade into the soil I will plant in them. I will need to reapply it to the boxes year after year but the main coat is the most important one and I put it on 3 layers with a good dry in between coats. the inside of the boxes that where coated did not degrade at all as the sun did not hit them so it will not need a new coat just the outside. Overall the end result was very impressive for myself, I've never taken a woodworking class ever and It was a near perfect outcome for me. Heavy Duty Planter Boxes for all my gardening needs. I made a last min decision to add in a plastic liner to preserve the wood even longer and stapled that into the frame. it has held up quite well and may need replacing end of 2nd or 3rd year out in the sun. Used a thick moisture wrap plastic with UV protectors in its formula. Lets see what I can grow in them this year! m0use's haus of projects - garden box edition

Last week was very good, plant grows very very fast, didn't expect it. Hope i FIMed right. Maximum amount of nutrients from this week. Day 22 - Day after FIMing, everything is good. Gave her 3L with increased amount of nutrients. Removed lowest 2 leaves. Day 23 - Plant started to stretch out. Done some LST. Day 25 - Plant is stretching out and getting bushy, love how it looks. No smell yet, no signs of flowering. Day 26 - Woke up and through i need a scrog. So me and my friend Daweed done some 5 minute crafts and now i have scrog. Plant is growing good, increased amount of water from now. 4L today. Day 27 - Damn this plant is growing fast. Very beautiful. No signs of flowering yet. Day 28 - End of week 4. Great progress this week, grow changed drastically. Got some nice LST, SCROG. Little woried about no flowering signs, but i hope it will begin on next week. Peace.

Good progress since transition to flower with good stretch this week ,almost catching the ak x bd for height. Just a small amount of lst with regular defoilation to keep lower sites clear.All good 🤞🍁

Gu Guys, she is continuing to develop as she should, however doesn't seem to be stretching all to much even with lower light intensities. I have therefore decided to push the ppfd to roughly 600 and let her finish her pre flower, no matter if she will fill the entire scrog or not. the roots are bit stained, however, this seems to be nutrient related, no slime or smelly roots thus far and it seems like she is constantly shooting out new ones from the net pot. She is going to be a nice little bonsai bush :)

Other than spreading folage out to new found space (had two male seedlings), I haven't maintenanced much. I want to get the pH down slow. I'm doing a top up and going to be careful for no big jumps. I'm gonna take the bins my tank sits on out to give me more grow room for next crop, and to keep reservoir temp down. Check ya later dudes:)))) Oh..I agree that the value of buds far exceeds the amount of vegetables I could ever grow but I'm an outdoors man- it's majority of what I smoke. im doing this strictly as hobby and for more variety.

Hi all. I hope to are all as interested as I am to see what this light can really do. I have been learning g to use l.e.d for the past 3 years and the majority of that has been using Mars Hydro lights. I originally grew for a few decades in HPS 600 watt bulbs and laughed at the new kid on the block ( l.e.d) and its fancy boxing and blurple colours and never saw a tine I could afford the kind of L.e.d that was being used by industrial and pharmaceutical grade growers worldwide. These were always way too expensive to make the conversion worth the benefits to my home growing. I started on the Mars Tsl2000 and soon had 2 , then added an sp250 followed by the very good sp3000 . Having the chance to try this new 300w beauty and its sexy framework too , was an opportunity too good to miss so here we are.It has been a lesson in training for a slight penetration difference mainly between the hps and l.e.d and keeping them in light as direct as I can. They are running at 50% for now as the ladies are just adjusting to the soil mix . The 2 Mexican airline are having a slight issue with the soils strength I think so have only just really started to settle down. I thought one was going to die of toxicity but it has kept going . The Strawberry Pie seem the most settled so far and are beginning to put their next leaf sets out but the six Shooter also has signs of disliking the initial soil mix. A few more days to settle in and a good watering cycle should sort them out better. So not much to really report this early on except we got 6 from 6 as a start lets hope it stays productive. Looking closer and closer to being finished with this one.. I lowered the ppms down to 600. May need to go lower most the tops look like they are finishing up. This one is pretty massive filling my 5x5 tent pretty good and the root production out of this 6" net cup is pretty gnarly. Definitely not lacking any quality either. Buds smell delicious and are super sticky.
