Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I tried all methods (except rockwool cube) and in the last two years (and I germinated a lot of seeds) I can tell that this is the faster and reliable way. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I really hope that this "rule" will help noob growers and maybe will help other growers to improve their skills. I personally do the step by step draw guide. I have grow 3 plants . number one 5 gallon smart pot. number two in a 3 gallon smart pot .and number three in a 5 gallon smart pot part of the difference between number two is because of limited space to grow big root system to support a bigger plant. They have been a very enjoyable plant to grow with an incredibly powerful smell impossible to grow stealth unless you have a good carbon filter can wait two post weight for each plant and to have a test smoke I Will Wait approximately between 7 to 14 days until the main stem snaps and a crunchy sound tell me they're ready then I check for dry weight and them jar them for curing. Day 9 off drawing and I pull out a branch to have a smoke test it is incredibly potent and a wonderful smoke despite not being cure it's very smooth but they're not ready for me to jar them I don't like to deal with mold or being opening the jars every few hours that's why I dry it thoroughly and use humidity packs so I don't have to deal with issues after weight and them jar them for curing. This are the weight plant number one 156. 36 grams and number two 76. 88 grams plant #3 72.12 grams. Already had a smoke tester this stuff its a couchlock beautiful lovely smoke come by a powerful High I recommend this train to anybody who can accommodate for the strong odour. lovely strain I want to try this one again it is like I citric skunk smell very pleasant and Powerful. I was very surprised how heavy and thick the buds were in the small plant compared to the others what an incredible nice plant to grow. thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

Surprising growth, they are showing Mg deficiency but I don't know if it's the dysregulated ph that I'm not following. Flowers are everywhere and the LST is helping to distribute space. The plant that underwent TOP pruning had less growth.

Casey's Rollex OG has been growing good. This week though she fox tailed on just the tips if a few colas. She isn't close to the light, nor are the temperatures getting too high. I think this was genetic. I have no issue with it. Just she was forming some really nice thick colas. Then a fox tail tip. Shit happens. She is loaded with frost and the smell is a fruity earthy aroma. Hard to pin point exactly. She will likely be harvested in 2 weeks. Starting ph water in less than week for the fading flush. Next update is actually gonna be the harvest. Hello. This is the end of week 5 and the beginning of week 6 of flowering. I think, after this week, I'll "not" close the tent at night. I've read that around the 50th degree latitude a plant will stay in flower if it is kept in dark for 3 weeks and put out after the summer solstice June 21st. As long as the light is getting less at night the plants will stay in flowering... So, 1 week to go and I'll leave the tent open. The buds are bulking up now. Smells like tropical skunk in and around the greenhouse. Won a runner up prize in a Ganja Farmers photo contest and for my prize I'll get, 3 seeds of Kush Mints, 3 of Animal Cookies and 3 of Gorilla Gelato. 2 mostly indica and 1 hybrid. Seed descriptions said they are strong. Oh Boy... OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

Nothing major to report, plants are growing just fine, girl at the back has been bullied out by the one in the middle, I guess it’s survival of the fittest! Not much I can do now as it’s seriously difficult to get down the back. Still keeping the same nutrients and water added around 2 weeks ago, will probs change the reservoir out in a few days time. Only an ‘broservation’, but I feel like they’re more comfortable with less changes, the PH remains stable after a day or two and maybe that has a positive affect on them. I’m usually just topping up with RO water, only adding nutrients back in every 3-4 days once EC drops below 1.5. Final note is they smell incredible, really sweet sour lemony smell, the stalks smell amazing! 🍋 Happy growing guys!

Start of Week 9 - Day 57 06/28: The ladies are looking amazing! Aaliyah and Alexis have a lot of buds coming up. Annie is starting her stretch, so I’ve been moving around some of the leaves that are blocking the light to the cola branches. As of now she’s standing at 20” from the top of the coco. Alexis is now at 27” and Aaliyah has reached a height of 30” from the top of the coco. That height definitely caught me off guard! Still keeping waterings at every day and a half and EC and pH levels in runoff are good. A few of the lower leaves on the plants have yellowed and withered up, but I think it’s just the plants themselves getting rid of leaves that aren’t getting light. Overall the ladies are looking great! Can’t wait to see how much progress they make this week. 06/30: Checked in the gals and by my surprise they have all grown two inches. Aaliyah is now 32” tall and has pretty much grown into the light. Luckily I went with the LEDs so there’s not much heat. Hand up to the light is still cooler than the sun on some days. Her buds have started forming and are now covered with pistils. Annie is still creeping her way into flowering and is now at 22”. Hopefully she doesn’t get as tall as Aaliyah. Alexis is now at 29”. I have to admit, I was worried Alexis wasn’t going to do well. She didn’t look as healthy as the other two when she was a seedling. But that has changed. She looks extremely healthy and although she is in a 3-gallon pot and isn’t as big as Aaliyah, she still has a lot of buds sites coming up. I’m glad she made it. More for the yield. 07/02: Watered the ladies. EC levels in runoff are good. pH in Aaliyah’s runoff is a little low, so I’m going to keep an eye on her. She’s now at 34” tall, but I tied her down. It was either this, or no light. Hopefully she takes it okay. Her buds are really starting to grow. Annie is now at 24”. She is currently on her stretch. Hopefully she doesn’t get as tall as Aaliyah. Alexis is at 32” and looking great. As of now I’ve seen no pests inside the tent, or on the trap I put up. But I did see a few flies while watering that looked more like fruit flies than fungus gnats. Hopefully they are and the pest problem is solved. 07/04: The ladies keep growing! Aaliyah is now at 33” because of the new bending, Alexis is at 34” (I just bent her main cola down), and Annie is at 25 1/2”. With Alexis at 34” she has also passed my light. Since Aaliyah seems to be doing okay with the bending, I decided to bend Alexis down as well. Annie is going into her stretch. Found a dead fly in tray and a live one on the trap. I guess my problems continue. I gave the ladies a good amount of water (4500mL for Annie!) and am going to leave the next watering for two days now. Hopefully this can help. The the buds were small so it made trimming a nightmare! But it’s done and the end product is worth all the time. I have loads of trim and small popcorn buds that will be dry Ice sifted and pressed into a hash brick. Will update the diary when I have some bcp hash Weighed up the trim at 588 grams, used my trim bins with dry ice to sift the trim and pressed it into blocks using a rosin pre press, I’ll now jar this and put it to one side. My first time doing this, definitely worth the effort!

Hello fellow growers👋, 5th week for the Double Grape. 🍇🍇 She is still doing great after the topping, healthily branching from all sides. I have to adjust the wires every day (sometimes twice a day). She is growing fast. Can't wait to see her develop her colas and bud sites. Otherwise, nothing much to report, I am still sticking to the HESI feeding schedule.
