The first week of vegetation is here, and it’s been a bit of a mixed start for my two plants.🌱 One of them is looking a little droopy, while the other has developed slightly yellow leaves. I’m not entirely sure what’s causing these issues, but I’ve decided to give both plants their first dose of nutrients to help prevent further damage and hopefully get them back on track. I’ve been checking on them daily and keeping a close eye on their progress. I’m staying hopeful that they’ll bounce back and show improvement by next week.🌱

01-11-2021: Good afternoon everyone... here we are again. My Bruce Banger will be ready in a week so I thought... I can probably germinate some seeds. I still have a lot of them (thanks to zamnesia) Every now and then I also post a report on Growdiaries and since you can only enter a competition there by using only one Strain I decided to put a round of Wedding Cake. I wanted to grow this variety when I still got my seeds from seedstockers, but found it too expensive at the time. Now I had two fish vouchers from zamnesia, each one good for 5 Wedding Cake Auto seeds. I didn't really like AFs per se (although I enjoy the result every day) so I called them and asked if I couldn't get Photos instead of Autoflowers... That was no problem at all, so I now have 10 have seeds. I have not yet found a method of germination on Hydro that works well for me, so we're going to do it in the most reliable way for me... old-fashioned in Cocos plugs. I let it fill itself with acidified (PH5.9) water and then provided each plug with a seed. I now put this under a 60W purple LED lamp that I still had from my very first cultivation attempt. Once they are up (I'm guessing/hope with a week) these will go into my budget system to grow there under 480W LM301H panels for a few weeks but with only 12 hours of light. The idea is to move these to the large closet as soon as they are about 4 weeks old, but that is not necessarily a requirement because you can also remove the lamps from that loft and move them to this room. That depends a bit on the size. What I'm going to test this round is how good/bad 12/12 from seed is doing in Hydro. Since most feeding schedules with hydro assume that you only pre-grow 1 week, I thought I might as well rule out that one week. In addition, from the moment the roots emerge from under the net pots, I want to increase the EC to 1.5 fairly quickly. I like small stocky plants without having to scrog. Maybe I'll top and maybe even mainline, but that depends entirely on the development of the ladies. In any case, there will be no feeding computer for the first few weeks (a bluelab Guardian) and as growth food they are given Hy-Pro Hydro A/B with Calmag (4-4-1 ratio). I expect very low temperatures in space so it won't be a banger. I have the impression that a correct root temperature compensates to some extent. I'm still looking for a way to transport the ladies in the right way (or I have to find a way to be able to use the same net pots in both systems). But that is of later concern. Since I only have 1 pre-growth room and 1 flowering room, I will put these ladies in a kitchen cupboard for the next week. The Bruce Banger goes on Sunday and then I can put them in there. The idea is to continue breeding on 12/12 from now on. After six weeks, new seeds will always germinate and no more than 5 at a time. I now make a round with originally 15 ladies, 3 of them were left behind in such a way that I took them out (to prevent rot) with the probable cause of too little light. 5 Planting will probably yield a little less, but hey, I can't finish it otherwise. And now my friends are very happy with my clearing days but of course that is not what I grow for. In addition, it also hurts a bit to give away 3-4 ounces after so many months of work. Noticed some slight tacoing on leaves, changed to my 18/6 light schedule to help control temps and give some rest. Noticed some nute burning also, will full flush next week.

2 weeks into flower guys. Looking real nice stayed really short considering they nearly had a 6 week veg , and the write up on them says they have an explosive stretch during the flip not seen they yet but I'm not complaining . Changed the nutrients from pre flower to full flowering feed as stated on the chart . Picked a few fans of all of them yesterday not to much just anything overlapping.

This is my first coloured cannabis strain and this red critical Autoflower from BSF seeds is an amazing strian. The smell of the buds is so fruity. Cant wait to harvest this red plant.

👉The final dry weight, which was 369g (13oz) is just buds, no trim or larf. Just Good big buds. Great plant overall. Had a phosphorus issue that lingered, it foxtailed at the end and in the last day hermie bitz appeared on almost every branch end cola. Sturdy branches, lots of food factories. Wonderful aroma that wasn't as stanky as most. Spend 4 hours trimming. Started at the bottom and worked my way up. I put the end cola of each branch on its own label clothes pin and hung on a rack. Each cola was weighed wet and cataloged. after 24 hrs I started putting each cola in a paper bag and the net buds in a larger bag. It took 5 days to reduce the dry weight to under 30%. When they hit this mark they went into the jars which were labeled according to their documented location. I figured the weigh reduction percentage by comparing weighs from the initial wet trimmed weight. In each jar I also added a hygrometer. Surprisingly the RH of almost ever jar was under 58%. None of the jars required any burping to remove excess humidity. At that point I added moisture 62% moisture packs and put the jars in the closet. I sampled bud J till this writing. It didn't start getting tasty till the 4 week mark.

[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

****Week 16 growth – March 20 to 26, 2021 – Week 7 flower ****** We are in flush now until the end😃 Its nice to be past toxicity and deficiency issues and will just watch them finish and swell up. Flushing agent used this week to assist with getting all the nutrients out. This girl is still looking awesome and I am hopeful she will flush out more of the nutrients. She is pretty green overall so she was given the flushing agent. Still expecting her to be fire, just not a huge producer👍 Little more detail….. Mar 20/21, Day 43 - plain watering today - 4L given to each girl at 26ppm and 6.0pH - turned the light down more today to 410 watts Mar 21/21, Day 44 - dry out day Mar 22/21, Day 45 - finishing agent watering today - typhoon given today for flush at 2ml/l - 425ppm and 6.0pH - 4L for each girl. - a couple of the girls are a little dark so going to use a flushing agent. Mar 23/21, Day 46 - plain watering - watering again after the flushing agent - 4L for each girl and gave a good runoff Mar 24/21, Day 47 - dry out day - fade coming out now Mar 25/21, Day 48 - plain watering with tap water. - 280ppm and 6.1pH - 4L each girl again Mar 26/21, Day 49 - dry out day - will be drying out the pots more now before the next waterings. Through week 7 and heading into week 8. Not a lot of action in the final weeks as far as grower maintenance.......love the end when you can just enjoy😃 Very nice ETS💪🙏
