Aug 17: great plant. Hit 30 C today, and there was a two minute hail storm late in the day. It sounded very impressive on the roof, but I had moved the pot plants up against the house and they were fine. The rest of the garden took a mild beating. Aug 18: rained all day. Aug 20: sunny yesterday and most of today. Watered with some Kekp extract in the evening. Flowering is progressing and we’re still in mid August so things are looking good. Aug 22: don’t take flash pics of photoperiod plants unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm far red light to put them into dark mode. Aug 23: looking good for the end of another diary week. This Gorilla Cookies is definitely the fastest flowering of the four plants I’m growing this year.

Week 8, and my custom fit SCROG has been installed! ❤️ At Day 50 I separated my 7 gallon girls and my 5 gallon girl. Once done, I began the very easy process of adding my “floating” SCROG. I use ratchet straps, just like the ones that come with lights to secure the four corners of the screen to the top of my tent. This allows me to adjust the screen height as necessary when 1) first installing and 2) once the full stretch of flower has occurred, I can tweak it a bit to balance the canopy as best as possible. It’s not 100%, I still get some over achievers, but I find it useful as another option. I like to do a major defoliation before I set the ladies in. Typically till this time, I have done almost no defoliation, just LST and some HST techniques. I adjusted the ladies placement to allow growth out all sides of the screen, set the screen height and began tucking and bending. The defoliation and bending allows light to penetrate all those side shoots that would have amounted to nothing, and they become top shoots as they grow up and form an even canopy. I don’t like to weave, it can damage the new shoots and cause growth problems, but the goal is to get as even a coverage as you can while allowing for plant growth in all directions. Once complete, I will give the girls about a week to recover and grow those new shoots. I like to have about 80% coverage of the screen, before I change my light cycles to flower 12/12… and if they are healthy and strong. I’ll decide this weekend if it is time ❤️👊🇨🇦😎 Happy Gardening!

Hello everybody! Here we are a week later and I’m starting to see some nice improvements and developments. This week I fed all plants pretty heavily with Recharge and Dolomite Lime (and a little Cal Mag). The plants seemed to like it, the color is really coming back to a nice shade of green instead of the pale yellow’ish green. The FastBuds Blackberry is a beautiful shade of purple. I’m going back to my normal nutrient routine for one more week then I'll flush for a week before cutting her down. The 2 Blackberry's I cut down last week were kind of scrawny, but I did smoke one of the main cola buds and it was tastier than I expected, very fruity. It also got me HIGH AF!! I'm looking forward to how this last one finishes up. One negative is I seem to have inherited some bugs from my wife. She asked me to put one of her outdoor plants in the room so it would survive the winter, well it looks like that plant was infested with bugs. The little f’ers had a feast on some of the leaves. My wife gave me the OK to toss the plant, so with the plant removed it should be fairly easy to irradiate any remaining bugs with some sticky paper. I’d like to say thank you to all who answered my question regarding recommend reading on cannabis. I’m selecting the answer for the Grow Bible by Greg Green because I was actually unaware of that one. I’m familiar with the Cervantes and Rosenthal versions but not Greg Greens. I’ll be ordering that book after I receive and finish “True Living Organics” by The Rev (should be here tomorrow). This week I have a new question for my GD friends…. CO2? I have not been using CO2 but EVERY book I read recommends using it, I’m not prepared to go out and buy a CO2 tank, regulator, etc… at this time. Has anyone ever used one of those CO2 bags? Or do you have any DIY CO2 solutions you can recommend? I’m looking forward to your answers on CO2. I’ll leave you this week with another interesting excerpt from “Marijuana Cultivation Reconsidered: The Science and Techniques For Huge Indoor Yields” by Read Spear: “I prefer to use high-pressure sodium lamps. With the exception of LED's, HPS lamps are the most efficient source of light you can buy, both in terms of light output and light spectrum. Having read nearly every book on the subject of growing pot, I feel that their authors tend to overemphasize the importance of light spectrum. You do not need to alternate between metal halides (for growth) and sodiums (for flowering). That is an oversimplification of the plant's light requirements. You may do this if you like--it certainly won't hurt--but I firmly believe that the gains are just not great enough to justify the cost of the extra MH lamp.” -Read Spear

Days 36-48 weeks 6-7 of pre flower day 2-15 Plant is responding really well having 14hrs of light under my FC3000, and I've been using IR to give my fems extra flowering time & this has suited my Autoflowers really well. New nutrients i see huge improvements in all of my Autos not only from MSNL but crop wide. Root Zone increased 3x easily. Been organic/mineral you need to PH to 6.7 for soil. Are ideal 6-6.1 ph in-between coco/soil and you adjust as needed. Really happy with their push for my plants. She has put on a nice bit of height. Her smell is very new to my grows, as I've not grown a purple haze or smoked it in years. Fruity, like a soda, typical PH, can't wait to taste this girl. (She's currently just been taken out of my tent into dry room, I'll hang her in a few hours) FEEDINGS/DLI DLI is around 40-41 700-730 ppf over 14hrs with UV-A calculated in. Core NPK feeds have been only 1x every 5-7 days 450-550 ppm, next week I'll start adding there pk /bloom booster. Master root & everything else brings the general ppm per day 7-1000 with enzymes & master root having huge EC change to water. (Note? Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. Gorilla Cookies is just about done. I checked the trichromes a few days ago and was starting to get the first amber ones. So I flushed with 5 gallons of ph water. I continue to pour 3 gallons more through every other day till next update which is harvest. Plus keeping it wet in between. Full of frost, and she is trying to fox tail. She is definitely ready to go. Just getting the nutrition out of the plant for a better quality bud, and better taste. Well it’s weeks 11 and I graduated from auto flowers although I miss there convenience I’m ready for the big times and I want to grow some regular trees. On one side I topped 2 into 4 bud spots And the other side I fimmed her and I’m stretching her around nuturally

After the 4th week of growth the low stress training and topping had taken effect after the girls had recovered. To start this week I changed.my base neutrients to the Sensi Coco grow A+B from advanced neutrients and up the intake to 4ml/l as well as some carboload so sugars are accessible throughout. Due to the size of the lemon haze and the expected expansion of the smaller plants I will bring to flower now at Day 28.

Videos are uploading finally 👌🏾 baby's have been switched to bloom nutes ,and moved from the nursery to the main room I decided to build a scrog to help keep the power of the mbap's under control 🌱🌿🌲🌳 was a very easy and cheap build really happy with the quality. Grapewalker kush are booming the one that sprouted already topped I decided to go with main lined kind of training it's gone to a lovely shape , may even put in the scrog who knows The gold glue all I'm gonna say is the topping went down a treat , it has formed really thick stems and branches and seems to be quite tall hopefully this and training will unleash the beast
