🚀 Week 8 Overall | Flower Week 3: Taming the Beast! 🌿 What’s up growmies! Hopefully you are enjoying your Christmas time 🎅 Today is December 29th, marking the first day of Week 8 overall and the start of Week 3 of Flowering. The stretch has been absolutely relentless! Even after my last adjustments, the girls were still pushing too close to the light. Today, I had to do some final low-stress training (LST) and bending just to maintain at least a 20cm gap between the tops and the LED panel. I’ve got my fingers crossed that this is the final week of the stretch—I’m officially out of vertical space! Recap of the recent "Rescue Mission": • Heavy Lollipopping: I’ve cleared out the entire bottom section (the "skirt") to maximize airflow and focus energy where it matters. • Canopy Management: Raised the AC Infinity net and thinned out the jungle. It was a massive defoliation, but necessary for the plants to breathe. • Organic Strategy: I’m still seeing those yellow tips from my initial soil mix mistake, so I’ve started adding Organic Silica to help the plants handle the light stress and strengthen their structure. The plants are looking much more manageable now, even with the minor nutrient burn. Day 28 I was away for 5 days and wow the growth... I'm sold on the auto-pots 😂 Shes still a lighter green than id like but she still seems to be pushing so I wont worry too much about it. No signs of preflowers yet.

This was a wonderful strain to grow. It handled high temps through august with ease and never had any issues with over feeding. I was impressed with how fast the buds developed and ripened. The smell is amazing. Mango and tangerine. The only disappointing thing was I had no red flowers. I’ll definitely grow this again though.

Day 49 of flowering, and the plants are starting to show their autumn colors—looking absolutely beautiful. The buds are developing perfectly, and the aroma is getting more intense. It’s a sweet, fruity scent with strong diesel notes that sometimes have an almost chemical edge, which I really love. 👍🏻😍🌲

Week 5, plants look good, bud sites developing nicely, smell is still weak but citrusy. Decided not to add cal-mag, gonna ride it out with it. Humidity dropped to 45%.

SATURDAY 9/21: After having had my entire rig and all my cured produce stolen from me by my pardner in crime, I'm starting from scratch. (That f**king asshole!) Special thanks to the fabulous folks at Fastbuds for sending me some replacement beans!!! I mylar'ed up a closet and got a little light to get them started with. It's 3500k with some extra 660nm and draws about 200w from the wall. I am going old-school this time around..no pre-soak and no paper towels. I bought some soluble myco + tricho + all the good beneficial bacteria and mixed a little into a liter of distilled water and wetted rapid rooter plugs. I planted all three Stardawg beans in the rapid rooter plugs and put them in a little humidome under 9w of pink light. TUESDAY 9/24: All three emerged with no problems, but one is still wearing a "hat".. THURSDAY 9/26: All three had taproots sticking out a few inches, so I planted them in their 3 gallon pots and put little mini-domes over them. FRIDAY 9/27: I knew better than to try to start some seedlings with no humidifier, but the asshole stole mine, so I tried it anyway..I have several seedlings that probably aren't gonna make it, but so far all 3 x Stardawgs look fine. I wet them down and put some trays of water in the closet to try and bring up the RH. TUESDAY 10/1: Okay, so only one survived, and she's starting to grow.👍 My soil mix was too hot for them...rookie mistake... I finished working on my homemade frame and mounted 6 x 120w quantum boards to it, but one of my 3 x 240w drivers failed, so I gotta get a replacement sometime in the next few weeks. I still gotta get my ventilation squared away before I can even run them.😎 FRIDAY 10/4: She's my lone Fastbuds plants..got high hopes for her. She'll be surrounded by a bunch of Candy Cane hybrids.

This week was no less stressful, but the previous week prepared us. More and more snow turns white. The microscope is ready. Nutrient solution at the maximum recommended parameters. But there is a problem with the tips of the leaves, they turn yellow first and then dry up and turn brown. I think this is the consequence of the maximum ppm. direct sunlight, a running giant fan at a distance of 20 cm, and an unstable ph lvl. There were significant changes in temperature from 16 at night to 31 during the day. The funnest is when it rains after a hot day. and they turn off the electricity at night. A humid environment of 65-70% without a fan is my nightmare in reality. So a piece of cardboard and energetic hand movements created the wind and the impression that I crazy But there are often good times, when the temperature is 26-27 degrees and the humidity is 45% without a humidifier. The girls smell amazing 😎

Pablo Escobar is growing well. She had the light changed for flowering 4 days ago. She also had a solution change 2 days ago. She was defoliated some today as well. Everything is looking good at the moment. The buds smell very tasty and look very good so I'm really excited. The trichomes are 70% milky and 30% amber. As always, it came to the darkroom 48 hours before harvest :-). There it will now remain after harvesting at 62% humidity for 8-12 days before it is put into the jars for fermentation with 62% boveda packs :-). As usual, the last update will come after the fermentation.
