Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]

Transplanted in the afternoon of 10/23 because they were rooting out of the pucks. Got some humidity dome cups coming tomorrow and another inline fan to handle intake to try to dial in things a bit more. Growing well as the week ends, #1 is the big guy so far, growing really well. Week 8 night fro day 1 in to day 2 and all is going as planned 😁 i broth down my lights to a 50% power, this gives me a 500 ppfd, also reduce the shedule to 9h light. Grow diary 11 Stage 3 Days 21-30 Day 22 removed lowest nodes. I'm also thinking i may be overwatering. Day 24 eventually found my humidifier. Day 26 topped both colas. Day 30 training. The last 9 days have been fairly bad, around day 22 I thought the grow looked a little overwatered. This time I am using a home made ring to flood the pots, i didn't take into account that this ring lets out about 10 times the amount of water then the blue drippers. I cut the watering down and the she started to recover. She is the worst looking one out the 4 strains. Even the one for outside looks bad. The outside Bruce banner went to its gorilla spot the other day and I forgot to take pictures. The outside northern lights will be going to gorilla spot soon. 🌿🔍 Week 8: Aroma, Colors, and Amazingness! 🌿🔍 Hey there, fellow growers! It's time for another thrilling update on my cannabis journey: 🌸 Aromatic Delight: As we reach the end of week 8, the aroma in my grow space is absolutely enchanting. The scents have intensified and become truly captivating. 🌬️👃 🌈 Vibrant Colors: The plants are flaunting their vibrant hues as the flowers continue to mature. The leaves exhibit beautiful purple hues, and The Queen plant is adorned with striking orange and red hairs. It's an absolute spectacle! 🌺🎨 💧 pH and TDS Levels: Throughout the entire flowering stage, I've maintained a steady pH level of 6.33. That's fantastic news! In terms of TDS levels, they currently stand at 750ppm and 1150ppm, providing the much-needed nutrients for your beloved plants. ⚖️🌱 ⏳ Progress Update: The Queen has proven to be a fast finisher, reaching the impressive milestone of 49/56 days. She's now completely ready to be harvested. It's time to celebrate! 🔥 🍪 Oreo Big Stuff: Although the Oreo Big Stuff was expected to finish around the same time as The Queen, it seems she needs a few more days to reach her peak. Hang tight for another 2/3 days, and she'll be ready to harvest as well. Patience is key! 🍪⚡ 🌿 Zweet Og: Ah, the beloved Zweet Og! This beauty emits an incredible OG gas funk smell. I absolutely adore it! The estimated flowering time for this strain is 63-70 days, and she still needs a little over a week to reach her full potential. Keep an eye on her progress, as she's worth the wait! 🕒👀🌿 🧐 Drying Dilemma: Unfortunately, I've encountered a challenge with drying The Queen. She's currently positioned on the back left side of the grow tent with a scrog setup, making it difficult to remove her without disturbing the others. It's a tricky situation indeed! 😬🌿🏋️‍♂️ 🌱 Future Plans: Despite this dilemma, I'm overall thrilled with the progress of my grow. No hermaphrodites or other issues have surfaced, which is fantastic news. I'm even planning to embark on another run with The Queen. I already have six clones ready to transition into flowering immediately after this run. Exciting times lie ahead, especially since it'll be my first time flowering clones! 🌼🌿🌿 That wraps up this week's update. Strain: Chocolate Haze (Royal Queen Seeds) Medium: Coco bricks (Action budget bricks – hell yeah 💰) Light cycle: 12/12 from seed Grow Style: No training, no stress – just flow Grow Medium Prep: 500L of coco – never again in one go 😅 The Kickoff 🚀 This run started off wild and direct – no veg time, straight into 12/12 with Chocolate Haze. I wanted a quick turnaround and thought, hey, why wait? I germinated 14 seeds, hoping for at least 9 strong ladies. Ended up with 11 survivors – not bad! First few weeks were a bit chaotic: stretching due to low light (I tucked the seedlings under mature plants, which I do not recommend 😆), and the coco prep took way longer than expected. But hey, that's the game. Early Veg/Bloom — Lessons Learned pH: Started a bit high; some light green leaves at first EC: Too low at 1.3 — they weren't having it. Upped to 1.7 and then to 2.1 later Environment: New extractor dropped temps way down (25°C vs my usual 30°C). Thought it would help, but growth felt slower Coco quirks: They looked overwatered at times, but coco is tricky like that. Eventually, roots hit the bottom and they took off Around mid-March (3 weeks in), pistils showed up – officially the start of flower. I topped them once just before full bloom kicked in. Always a strange move, cutting healthy plants... but they bounced back beautifully. Nice and bushy now. Week 2–5 Flowering 🌸 These ladies are small but mighty. Not tall, but full of energy. The canopy is tight and even (except for one shorty), and they've been stretching like crazy — classic sativa move. Had to raise the lights twice in two days. I’ll probably do some defoliation soon to slow things down a bit. Environment is now dialed in: Temp: 30°C with lights on RH: Holding nicely in that humid sweet spot CO₂: Set to 500ppm (passive mostly, no full-on enrichment) Feeding is now solid, color has recovered beautifully, and the buds are starting to form nice stacks. I’ve kept it low-stress — no nets, no heavy training, just letting them do their thing. Observations & Setup Tweaks 🔧 Ventilation: Running the fan at just 30% now. Tent takes 18 seconds to vacuum seal, which tells me airflow is minimal – less CO₂ loss. CO₂ System: Minimal usage at 500 ppm. I’m not going all-out with gas bottles; it’s just there as a buffer. Structure: These Chocolate Haze plants don’t get tall, but they do fill out nicely. Perfect for a space where height is limited. Auto side note: One of the autos in the same tent is way taller, but less dense. Makes me appreciate the Chocolate Haze structure even more. Current Status (April 17) 📆 We’re deep into flower now — week 5, and it shows. Buds are swelling and resin production is kicking in. Nothing major to report (which is kind of the point of this grow — set and forget). Just a slight dry issue with one auto, which I adjusted on the Blumats. Besides that? Happy plants, happy grower. 🌞 Check the latest pics — they speak for themselves. Final Thoughts (So Far) 💭 This Chocolate Haze grow has been chill, efficient, and surprisingly hands-off. The direct 12/12 schedule really works when you're going for a fast cycle with minimal hassle. And even though I’m usually more into hybrids, this sativa-dominant lady is winning me over — the structure, the vigor, the smell… mmm. Now we wait for the real magic — the last few weeks of flower. With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Week two went well. Just maintaining humidity still and a good temp. Watered plant two on day 10. 200ml with 2.5ml added fox farm grow big. Also re wetting the sponges I have in them daily for humidity.

Hello. This is the end of week 9 and the beginning of week 10 of veg. The week started out with normal weather, then the high pressure ridge came in and it was over 35* c in here for the last 2 days. But the plants look good. I put up the shade cloth I had, when I saw that the temps were going up. I'll roll the shade cloth back when the temps cool some. I live near the ocean which moderates our temp fairly well. The summer time ocean temp is around 55* f and 45* f in the winter. (Funny - being old school, I still use old imperial temps)😄 The plants have been getting some food each day with my reservoir pump being hooked up to a timer. I also gave about 1 gallon of rain water to each plant yesterday. They are filling out their space nicely. I have to get in there in a couple of days and put all the branch tips down under the table again. With about 2 weeks before flipping to flowering things are going great. Be Great. Chuck.

Hello everyone! As you can see I'm growing Starbud by Hortilab Seeds which are 3 week old cuts rooted in an x-stream propogator and transferred today into an Amazon Aeroponic System using the Shogun Fertilisers which have so far proven themselves though I have not yet finished a crop with them, my other crop Ugorg in other diary will be ready in around 5 weeks so check that out too if your interested in these nutes. This will be a sort of half sog and half scrog as I have 15 cuts fairly close together and intend to veg them only till they hit an inch through the net then I will flip to 12/12 and hopefully let the initial stretch in flower fill the net as oppose to growing a few plants and having them fill 70% of the net before flipping, fingers crossed it should work. I'm vegging under 400w halide and a budmaster G.O.D 9 set to half power and both sat over a meter away from cuts while they harden off and angled so that their footprints merge or crossover. When it comes time to flower I will use 600w hps and turn the LED onto full power. That's all for now folks, wish me luck and the same to you all in your own projects. Peace ✌️🏻

2 of plants started fading a little I feed them with compost tea and organic nutrients of biobizz I want to test something on one of my plants. Light Compost tea 2 times a week I fed them compost tea once a week from early veg until now and there is no sign of nutrients burning its 33 degrees celsius they need watering everyda

Welcome to Week 8 of flower...... The plants have developed a more sour lemon scent. Which is pretty lovely to the nose. Both plants have really nice dense thick buds. Plant 1 is starting to show signs of fall colours. She has always had are lime green colour to her upper leaves. Now a beautiful red colour is appearing on the edges of leaves. Plant 2 the main colas have become so heavy that they are all leaning over. I've started introducing a bit of drought stress. Holding back between waterings. I'm hoping by doing this it will help to kick the girls into overdrive and start using stored sugars. It's seems to be working on plant 1 as the leaves are starting to yellow.

Howdy it is day 63 and in 2 days it is time to harvest. Since 2 weeks i feed clear Walter only. They get 16 hours darkness before harvest. All the plants are really🔥 My favourites are still 3G and Wedding Gelato. The smell and Look is crazy. You will see i guess Also North Thunderfuck and Hulkberry is good looking. Die 9 Woche startet 💪. Bis jetz hat sie die letzten Tage mit Unwettern ganz gut überstanden auch der Regen war nicht ganz so schlimm. Hab mal ein paar Trichom Aufnahmen mit dem Handymikroskop gemacht da die Blüten doch schon recht dick sind, aber überwiegend Klare und Milchige und noch keine bis vereinzelt Bernsteinfarbene Trichome. Also hat scheinbar noch Zeit die gute.
