Had a hell of a week with Blue Dream 2. In the previous week I had added some molasses to the nutrient solution, 2 of the 3 plants took very well to it. However Blue Dream 2 got a real bad case of root rot. I ended up having to trim up the roots, and do a hard rinse on them. I flushed a bit with Hydrogen Peroxide and then let it soak in a resevoir with nothing but hydroguard for 36 hours. The other two had a small outbreak, but nothing near Blue Dreams 2. All in all a few days later she has recovered. Thats the biggest reason I added the tomato cages, blue dream 2, with weak stems already (got to find a silica supplement next run) she couldn't hold up the buds. After she recovered I just put the cages around all 3. I want to say 2 more weeks, but am still super green to all this, I'll post pics of the buds and tell me what you guys think. Cheers

Hi guys, in the middle of this week I changed my 400w HPS to a 600w one. I also added another 600w HPS to give more light to the plants in these last 10 days of vegetative growth. So now i use 2 600w HPS. So far everything has been fine. Plants begin to stretch after the stress of cutting. If you know any good nourishment for the flowering phase, I listen to you, thank you. Week 5 of flower and seed production for all these plants has started in earnest. We cleaned up the tent somewhat and took down all the males after having done their job. Alls left is to wait for finish now. The nute deficiency appears to have corrected itself now that we’ve balanced out the ratios a little more. The WPM is no match for the sodium bicarbonate but still gonna have to keep on top of that to the end of the grow. Full fumigation of the grow spaces will be required - multi-day process I am not looking forward to. Time cleaning is time not growing, sadly. We’re coasting to the finish now but should still have some decent updates on our super secret seed harvesting method once they’ve fully matured😉👍. Hope everyone’s well and grow’n that straight 🔥. Background Fingers crossed that these Spicy Bitch regs provide at least one male so that we can back build some stock of it. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Strain very resistant, although I had some problems with this, unfortunately having grown up in Outdoor the bad weather ripped away almost all the sunbathing, the plant weakened and had problems with aphids. Despite this she managed to complete the flowering cycle, harvested not abundant given all the problems mentioned above, but the buds she produced are quality with a scent of blueberry mixed with really strong fruit. Small but compact buds covered with resin 🤙

Pre flowers coming in perfect timing. She is now in a 25 gallon pot.

Hey everyone ☺️. It gets more beautiful from week to week 😍👍. I have them all this week Sprayed again properly with neem oil in the veggie phase ☺️. There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. The summer is here. Black cream showing some colors but not what i imagine. But with out a dought some of the best buds i Have seen. Shes know senescence. Just let the lower buds get some power in 2 more weeks shes done. Im liking a lot the way CoshKush is going Very promissing branchs and a inner purple color to the picilis. Lets se as she fatns. Weeding Cake its looking like shes reduced grow speed. Like the tick piscilis now starting to go orange Bomberry looked so promessing in vege and now not so much. Late as allways.... Week 3 - nice growth in each plant, the blueberry is a lot hungrier, I may need to introduce a mid-week feeding of sensizym for her. The 2 OG kush have very tight node space and bud sights. A little bit of defoliation of fans leaves.

11/2: I flushed all 4 of them with 8 gallons each of warm water and liquidsoil. Won't be long now....👍 11/5: I put them in the dark....harvest tomorrow! 11/6: Harvested and washed all 4 of them. They are hanging to dry and smell great!

Casey's Rollex OG is making good progress. She is looking pretty healthy. She just had a solution change today. She is starting her bulking process. She also is getting a nice layer of resin on her. She is starting to develop her smell. I just can't really pin point what it smells like at the moment. Everything is looking good. 9/1 - Start of week 4 and the GSCs are looking strong. The shorter pheno is starting to catch up. She has multiple main sights as if she had been topped...even though she hasn't. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Watered all today with RO water and molasses. 9/4 - Just a light water and some LST today. Still no nutrients and they are looking fabulous. Loving the Nature's Living Soil Autoflower mix! 9/6 - I come in each day and water and do a little LST on all the ladies. Moving them just about a quarter of the way around the pot. They are really starting to become bushy and branch out.. They are all very green and looking great.
