Week 17 Nothing really moved this week. Itโ€™s something like between low tide and high tide: not my favorite moment โ€ฆ waiting for blossoms and flowers ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™. Good point is that every plants are healthy ( except a parasite problem on Psicodelicia) and well prepared for flowering. For now itโ€™s bad weather outside: 20 degrees max, with lot of wind and rain (cf video). The green house is the best option despite of less exposure. Morning soon I moved the plants outside to sprayed them with potassium soap (natural insecticide). I cleaned the grow space inside the greenhouse (didnโ€™t touch spiderwebsโ€ฆgood insecticide too). I removed the automatic watering and get a few liters of rain water during this days. Watering 1L every 3 days -Calmag + Cannazym + Alga mic + Root booster -Flora Series: preflowering quantities. Daylight 14h30: 6h50/21h20 Psicodelicia is still a pretty plant but I saw some bad leaves covered by white spotsโ€ฆ behind I notice some little light yellow grubs: itโ€™s certainly a thrips attack. I treated the plant with potassium soap and wait before the Neem oil. The numbers of blooming sites are well identified and growth is totally fixed.

Hi everyone ๐Ÿ˜ Welcome back in another week update! Thank you all for this amazing support on this bananas journey๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š Uploading and updating each week content on daily bassis so please revisit this diary if week not over yet. So far all going great. Girls looking very healthy and happy. Due to my short trip had to leave my ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘Š girls unsupervised for 3 days. Was stunned when opened my cabinet on the Dec 5th. Athena stretched like crazy. Good 3 inches. She better slow down as not much roof space left for her. May tie some taller branches to netting if necessary. Introducing blooming nutes for the first time this week on December 6th at smaller dosage and on the second watering as listed. Week 8 Dec 4 - Dec 10 Dec 5 Leaves tucking Dec 6 Heavier selective defoliation on both girls. Athena fully lolipopped and Xena at 75%. Watered with 8 ltr beetwen both with perfect runoofs PH 6.4. Girls were very thirsty ๐Ÿคค Dec 7-8 Just enjoying how my girls developing. Frost has landed and they are start showing colours. All is looking great. Dec 9 Second watering for this week 7 ltr beetwen both. Runoffs PH 6.4 Even with so much difrence in size of my ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ‘Š girls it seems that they are drinking my juice almost equally. Dec 10 Applied selective defoliation and tied 3 tallest branches of Athena to netting to avoid any potential burns on these beautiful baby colas. It's the end of the week! Thank you all again for such a great support, all the likes, dm's, comments and follows ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’œ Stay tuned for coming week update ๐Ÿ˜โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ’š

10/6 Didn't feed enough to get any runoff this time. I'm pretty sure they are ok for now, next time I'll start with water test the runoff and feed. Had to move the lights up a bit and I'm losing leaves. That is my fault for not being proactive. But it could be the strain. Fed them a bit stronger this time I put EC was 1.2 and pH was 6.3. this all started out per 1gal but the EC was 1.4 so I cut it with another 1l2 gallon. That final EC is what matters anyway. I will discontinue the grow big after this week. Tiger bloom should have enough. We only have about 3 weeks left. So the next feeding will be the last big one, then I'll lower it, then just water. I'll feed up to the last week so they can really fatten up on those last 2 weeks. I'll let them sit in the dark for 2 days before I chop. In the same tent I'll dry them in. So that means I'll need add a scrubber to that tent so they don't stink up the neighborhood. Good thing I think about that already. I have a little 2x3x3 tent I can dry them in. 10/8 I didn't have time to do a water push and feed so I just gave each 2cups of plain water to get em through till the next day. 10/9 I pushed about 2700ml through each slowly to generate runoff. Vermiculite is not your friend with this type growing, but I have finally totally reworked the soil into an inert substrate that only holds the roots. All organic material and most likely any trave of the herd is all but gone. Again, you need to go back to the beginning to learn how I fucked all that up and made a switch from living to basic hydro in the first few weeks. It had to be done due to the use of unprocessed soil. I knew better but thought the soil was older. Anyhow... I had suspected my ex was high because I've not been able to produce runoff. In this soil mix it only starts once you approach the 3 liter mark so after 2 light feedings and due to high EC before I wanted to push some water through for peace of mind and then feed. Results: BBA EC: 1.6, pH: 6.6 BCA EC: 1.2 pH: 6.6 The BBa was always a bit higher but these #'s are exactly what I wanted. I didn't feed yet. I'm going to let them dry for 2 days and then I'll feed. I believe that when the substrate is soaked it dilutes the nutrient solution and I want to stop any chance of channeling. I'll give each about 1200 to 1800ml of solution @ EC 1.2 -1.4 probably the last good feeding. It's light still but I'm still treading lightly with the autos. 10/10 Still too wet to feed, they should be good tomorrow. 10/11 Fed each about 2400ml : Tiger bloom: 12.5ml/gal Calmag: 3ml/gal EC: 1.4, pH: 6.3 no runoff. Still having to use the AC even though it's in the 50s and 60s out. It's working ok now. The issue is the damn dehumidifier. Really heats up the damn room. I feel like it will still work even if I exhoust all that hot air into another room. It's still pulling moisture out of the air, so.... I have to try it. It literally keeps that little room in the mid to upper 70's all by itself.

Good morning, weekly update time! We just finished up week 3 of veg as we land on day22 now. I noticed these ladies like it a little cooler as anything over 80 gives me some tacoing ๐ŸŒฎ! I dropped lights on temp to 79 and have humidity at 70, I slowly changed vpd from .9 to 1 over the week ! The girls recovered from mainlining quickly and needed their first training, because of that I started using silica to harden up those trained mains! From here on out Iโ€™ll give fish shit and silica every other watering. The ladies got their bi weekly top dress of 1/4 cup worm castings to keep all that natural goodness working into the soil and down to the roots. Iโ€™m very happy with the way the run has progressed !

Plant has shown slow but healthy growth since its arrival, LST continues and I've managed to keep the plant at the same height it was last week but now at a horizontal angle. I did up the nutes for one feed to a slightly under recommended dose but in the days following I noticed the plant looking a little 'droopy' and since she has been with me she hasnt been drinking very well so I opted to flush her for a feed, since then she has seemed very happy :) whilst drinking much better (possible nute lock was imminent). Now back down to half doseages with the exception of CalMg (to help after flush) but will be increasing them in the following days. As of next week I will be transferring her and another plant my partner is nurturing into single bucket DWC set ups. Fingers crossed I will see some hearty results for making the crossover to hydro.

Now that the plant is dry, I can go into a few more details. In my opinion, the harvest is a complete success for a beginner. During the harvest I realised how hard the flowers are. After drying, they became even harder, almost rock hard. The flowers are covered with many shiny trichomes. The harvest took quite a long time. I spent about 14 hours on it, which was also due to the super meticulous wet trim. The reason for the thorough wet trim was the mould. Every single flower was examined. I disassembled the large flowers before drying to be on the safe side. It's nice to have huge flowers, but in the end they are chopped up anyway. At the end of the 8 days of drying, the GG4 Sherbet FF rewarded me with finest ice-coated flowers. Thanks to the wet trim, I didn't have to do any more work. I was able to separate the buds directly from the branch and put them in the jars to mature. As the offcuts were also super potent due to the thorough wet trim, I processed them into butter.

As the oldest one looks with 25 days of more approx 2 and a half weeks in advance as we can see, all calm advancing at the moment, enduring the high heat temperatures, the ones that were missing were transplanted into larger improvised pots.

Cherry Cola's Grand Flourish in the Floral Symphony Greetings, fellow cultivators! Week 4 has unfurled its petals in the mesmerizing floral journey of our beloved Cherry Cola Auto. The tent is now a stage for a grand botanical opera, and our green queen stands as a testament to the wonders of cultivation. Let's dive into the details of this flourishing spectacle! As we venture deeper into Week 4, the floral elegance of Cherry Cola Auto takes center stage. What was once a lush bush has evolved into a breathtaking beauty, a true testament to the success of our horticultural endeavors. The topping technique and the release from training supports have paved the way for a regal display of colas and buds. The decision to set our Cherry Cola free from the constraints of training supports continues to be a triumph. The tent is now a realm of bushy brilliance, and our green queen stands tall, a majestic presence commanding attention. It's a living masterpiece in perpetual motion. The echoes of our topping tales from previous weeks resonate in the structure of Cherry Cola's colas. Each topped branch has evolved into a flourishing bud-laden entity, contributing to the overall grandeur of our green canvas. The decision to embark on this topping journey has truly paid off. Our nutrient symphony, now joined by the magical touch of Potassium (K), continues to fuel the botanical brilliance. P-Boost and Topbooster, with their orchestration of phosphorus, organic grace, and now potassium magic, create a harmonious dance of blooming processes. The buds are becoming robust, laden with fibers, resins, and sugars, promising a top-tier end product. Every day, the visual majesty of Cherry Cola unfolds with new growth, showcasing the resilience and vitality she possesses. At the 10-week mark of flowering for the Wapanga strain by TerpHogz, observations indicate it's nearing harvest time. The trichomes appear mostly cloudy with some transparency, suggesting it's approaching the optimal harvest window. However, the main cola continues to display signs of active flowering, prompting a careful approach. While the plant signals readiness in some areas, the continued vitality of the main cola suggests it might benefit from a bit more time to fully mature. Monitoring this balance is crucial, ensuring a harvest that captures the strain's peak potency and flavor profile.

Getting close to harvest #1 (#2 is already curing)! The pistils are still mostly white and stretching but some trichomes are starting to turn amber - I'll give it another few days or maybe a week. For the last two weeks I have just been feeding just water with no nutrients.
