Flower Week 6 Day 42 to 48 - 4/29 to 5/5 They both look very healthy this week. The calyx are swelling with maturing hairs, the pistols are orange, the trichomes are mostly white, and the leaves are fading/changing colors - still not ripe enough for me, but flushing with half nute feeds now. Feed this week was another auto pot reservoir flush feed at 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 400ppm of Bloom concentrate mix (recipe week 5). And then, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0). PH balance this week was for 5.8 where I plan to maintain it until harvest. Next week will continue the same half nute feed. I will continue to monitor the signs of trichomes, pistols, and calyx for a better harvest and allow the buds to mature more.

The buds on this plant seem very nice and tight, a nice purplish bud colour started to develop during the 48 hours producing some very pleasant looking buds.

Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 5 2/2-2-8 The Cheese gals are in full flower and are stretching like crazy. At the beginning of the week, they were 7 inches tall, Wed 10 and today 2/7 they are 14 & 15 inches tall. They have doubled in height. I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires thru the pot holes to keep the branches lower as the outer rim is taller than the center. I reduced nutrients in the feed solution since Runtz and Pink Rozay are showing some purples/blues in the leaves. These gals are vigorous and don’t seem to mind the full strength feedings. Hopefully they won’t start showing deficiencies. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Blue Cheese is supposed to be a 10 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that actually benefit the plant. So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/5 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and Dill in the back. The Red Hot Cookies are looking beautiful. Very nice looking buds with fantastic colors. Very promising in terms of bag appeal :) The pheno 1 shares many traits with the GSC. The effect is amazing despite of the quite boring terpene profile which is unidimensional (very sweet base notes along with creamy peach head notes that reminds me of the peach flavored campino hard candys). The high has the soothing and calming effect of the GSC while being more uplifting and energizing. The pheno 2 is more on the Tangie side for both the effects and the terp profile. The high is energetic but a little bit racy. The limonene content seems far higher than the myrcene, and it translates itself in both the taste and the effect. I will be looking for a Tangie-dom pheno that is richer in myrcene, in hope of getting more of the tangerine taste/aroma and the relaxing effect that we can find in the Tangie and Tangerine Dream strains. As for the Amherst Sour D, they all share the same woody and tropical aromas with subtle specific nuances (pepper, fuel, skunk/sulfur, lavender). The effects go from slightly sedating to highly energizing and euphoric. A great afterwork hard hitting sativa that tastes awesome, without being the terp bomb of the year. The Dinamed CBD plus is a very short, bushy and stalky plant. The Pheno 1 smells like straight pine/fir on sweet and fruity base notes. The structure is nice with lots of lateral branching and the buds are looking very good too. I could have got a way better yield be giving her an extra 10 days of veg. The pheno 2 is more one the fruity/fuely/tart side. Definitely not the best pheno. Very slow growth...
