Bit more progress this week. I feel it is slow growing for whatever reason. Hopefully she will pick up in the coming weeks.

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. Ginger Nut Cookies 23rd Jan 2020 Seems like I got another mutated plant to play with 😬 The top leaf which was the second set to appear is mutated and similiar to one of the Sour diesel autos Im growing which is apparently a polyploid. As you can see in the above pics I removed the weird leaf and I now have two distinct tops rather than the usual one forming. They do say two heads are better than one 😀 Anyway I gave this little ginger nut a weak mix of Superthrive and Seaweed solution plus a tiny bit of Great white Mycorrhizae powder. This will be the first documented grow of anything Ive created thru my "Fuck around experiments" I call them that because I really dont have any plans or goals as far as breeding is concerned other than learning how it is all done. When Australia finally bites the bullet and goes legal I want to have the basic skills needed to create my own seeds for my own use. Basically a strain that is well acclimatised to my environment with maximum potency , flavour and terpene profile. But most importantly for me is a strain that is a IBL and Homozygous, so that I get very similiar results every time I grow it. Anyway Thats enough of my rambling lets get down to the Music part of this weeks update. I hope you liked the AC/DC I played last week , This week is INXS probably our greatest export music wise other than the Beegees I suppose. Sadly Michael hutchence the lead singer of INXS died in an apparent accidental misadventure but some say it was suicide . We'll never know for sure. Every thing has been going well, plants looking very lush, & healthy, put on a bit of a stretch, added 2nd scrog net to train them through as they stretched. Been busy lollipoping & defoliating lower growth to allow more air & light through. Removed a lot of lower popcorn branching & lower bud sites, so they can now focus & send all their energy to the top bud sites. Going very well.

The plants are comming along nicely. They got some horsetail extract in the past 2 weeks, nothing else. I will top dress with a handful guano the comming days. The sativa pheno seems to be the furthest aong in terms of trichromes. We will see, when we start looking at the trichromes with a microscope soon. Numbers 1 and 7, the indica phenos, are similar. Only number 1 is lagging behind 7-10 days. All plants started to receede from their bigger lower fan leaves. I keep picking them of as they turn yellow. Happy growing everyone!

I dried it for 8 days and got me 42 grams and 2 grams of hash and if you think about a small one it was pretty full.

16th Week Report 30/01/20 - 06/02/20 Had a look to trichomes and she was almost ready, consequently I didn't filled/changed reservoir from last week 06/02/20 Harvest Day! 2nd Harvest Wet Weight Is 440g! 💦💦 All the lower growth yielded more than the bigger colas from first harvest (350g Wet Weight) Nothing particular to say, trichomes are 5-10% 🔍 Amber, even the lower buds got some purple tones and while I was trimming them I sniffed the best weed flavour I ever felt in my life! The 2nd Harvest day was a week away from the 1st Harvest day! "Harvest Week" will be published when buds will be dry 😋 Last Update 06/02/20 See you guys ;)

Per fortuna sono riuscito a tornare in tempo e le mie piante stanno bene! Non ho potuto monitorare per niente e mi sono affidato alle poche indicazioni che avevo lasciato e non posso lamentarmi…in questa settimana i fiori sono cresciuti e le piante hanno raggiunto la loro altezza massima, alcune stanno già scaricando le riserve di nutrienti e alcune foglie sono diventate gialle, vedrò se aggiungere un ultima volta il Top Dress di Dogma Organics per dare loro supporto per le ultime settimane…per ora sono super soddisfatto sia delle genetiche di Fast Buds che del super soil di Dogma Organics..è tutto così semplice ed efficace per queste ragazze e il risultato lo vedi già dalla crescita vegetativa, le piante hanno solo bisogno della tua attenzione per il ciclo asciutto/ bagnato ed il resto andrà bene sicuro!!!

Getting closer but not quite there yet. Still looking for some more amber trichomes. At least the clear ones are becoming fewer while the amount of white ones raises. Buds are very thick now and the smell is amazing! After the daily trichome check the magnifying glasses smell deliciously sweet and creamy like blueberry ice cream. Gonna leave her in her normal light cycle until I‘m happy with the trichomes.

As we enter week five we notice some of the plants pre flowering. But not all so I decide to stick with veg nutrients until all are showing pre flowers. Half way through the week and the rest of the plants are showing pre flowers. Just in time as the plants that had pre flowered earlier on in the week are showing slight Newt burn on the tips suggesting It is time to change to bloom newts which holds less nitrogen. The magnified picture are of the pre flowers forming ( two little fuzzy hairs). Interesting fact: it takes thousands of those little fuzzy hairs to form just one bud.

6.18.25. 7th week of flower started on 6.16 Plant is still putting on bud so I would say about another 2 weeks left.
