Hey folks. Into week 16 (week 7 into flower) and the ladies are doing great! Again putting on some mass! Temps have been optimal hover around 12-25degs, night to day respectively. They are starting to stink up nice, lots of pine, kushy undertones and a hint of pepper! Sounds and smells insane. Its not loud yet but the aromas hanging out on the deck are amazing with a gentle breeze! They are packing on some serious mass and producing an amazing amount of resin. This grow is just a fun little experiment. JUst to see what I can get with minimal resources. Soil mix is cheap miracle gro garden soil mixed with play sand. Nutrients are osmocote plus controlled release prills mixed directly into soil mix. THe light bulbs are 9 watt led bulbs from the dollar tree lol. WIsh me luck. 12 plants currently hope to be left with around 6 females and to yield a gram per plant.

During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Thunderstorms for several days generally cloudy the rest of the time, sunshine on the horizon though! Next week should be sunny hopefully! 🙏🙏🙏

This is most likely my last update before harvest. More and more trichomes are turning cloudy with about 2-5% Amber. Gave her her last feeding yesterday and I figure there's about a week left. My usual plan is letting the water level drop for a few days then flush when there's 3 days left. A lot of the buds in the middle are ending up fairly small but everything's really dense.

(Log date week 7, day 49) So this week was a mixed bag, Tuesday started off with me finding a spider web on one of the lower fan leaves on my Hulkberry plant and noticed some bite marks on some of Fat Banana. In my haste to give rid of the spider mites, i caused some minor wind damage to some of the fan leaves on Hulkberry which caused some copper spotting and a stunted Fat banana cola. After i correctly treated both plants for spider mites and wind damage, they both bounced back and started to recover quite nicely. I also noticed a difference between topping these plants at different times; i topped fat banana when it had 4 cola's but i waited until hulkberry's roots reached to the bottom of my 5gal bucket and she had 8 cola's. A BIG difference in their recovery and overall structure, where fat banana jump out the gate with explosive veg growth and hulkberry struggled for two weeks just to develop it's first set of fan leaves. To now whereas hulkberry is much bigger, greener and bushier than fat banana. Hulkberry has responded much better to the additional stress whereas fat banana has struggled or stalled due to the stressful conditions. All in all wasn't too bad of a week, except for the power going out for a couple of hours on Saturday which raised my grow-room temperature to 90f, i was able to put out a couple of fires this week without any adverse long term effects. I also topped hulkberry on the last day of the week and I'm going to continue to feed them Technfloa at the full recommended strength since they have both responded very well to last week's formula. as always my pic are in chronological order Mr. O.G.T

Ja so wie es schon vorher fast zu vermuten war, ist ein 60x60 einfach zu klein 😅 die Mandarin Panties ging zwischen den beiden Z-ups unter und ich musste sie aus dem Zelt nehmen. Die Entscheidung fiel aufgrund dessen, weil ich noch zwei weitere seeds von der Panties habe und die z-ups einfach mehr Potential zeigen. Ich werde natürlich weiter über die Panties berichten. Z-up #1 Hat keine Probleme, wächst vernünftig, zeigt keinerlei überdüngung und hat bei 570ppm einen drain von 1000ppm. Ph ist aber bei 7.. Z-up #2 Zeigt überdüngung an und hat auch einen drain mit 1500ppm, ph ist bei 6,7. Wächst aber super und zeigt am meisten Potential Mandarin Panties Wächst langsam, trinkt auch wesentlich weniger. Darf sich jetzt erstmal über natürliches Licht freuen und wird nicht wieder ins Zelt zurückkehren. Ich mache noch einen neuen Versuch mit diesem strain So long, bis zur nächsten Woche

I can’t even describe really what it is. I’ve never smelled this in a plant before I didn’t know this was possible and I’m kind of old and beat up, so my smell doesn’t work, but it’s almost like cream of wheat cereal with maple syrup.
