Besides a few leaf spots here and there everything is going smoothly, 2 waterings this week, one with just PH'd and 3ml of cal-mag water, the other with the mentioned nutes, around a half gal each watering( first time I actually used my growbig). When I've been watering, I've been going off pot weight, so no set schedule. Doing half strength compared to what fox farm suggested because of the soil still holding nutes. Going to bump it up to normal strength the coming week. I turned the light intensity down for a few days to 70%ish. I thought this might help with some stretch and the discolored tips. I went ahead and did some major defoliation this time around compared to last time as well with the goal of narrowing down my bud sites/colas. I also ended up just snipping off the FIM'd tip as it was very scrawny and funky looking. So far I'm very happy with this strain(I have nothing to compare it to lol), but I know it's time to switch to flowering in a week, two tops. Just going to keep taking my time with her and making sure we have a happy plant, not a rushed one. As always I'd love to hear from the community on what you guys think. Thank you and God Bless

Buds are starting to swell and smell very nice. Not drinking as much water now after the stretch but still drinking a lot. Everything is looking great.

This was a week. The drama at the beginning was one of the fans falling down onto my gorilla cookies. It snapped a branch off really bad but the girl hung onto it by threads. I duct taped her up and somehow took. 😎😢 I defoliated and did a little lst on a couple of the girls. Nothing major. Also increased the light to 80% now. I think I'll stay there until late flower when I switch to 12/12. I also added blocks to a couple of the girls to make the canopy level. That put the light at 15" as recommended by Medic Grow. This girl is interesting. The two middle colas are hard to separate and using some ties to push them apart. No smell coming from this girl as of now. I had to add a number of blocks to raise her up to level the canopy. I hope she'll improve. Harvest time! Chopped and wet trim, now she's drying in the rack. A real pleasure to grow, I am super excited to smoke this lady in 2 weeks! Thank you everyone for checking out my grow. Update June 23, the buds dries quickly, temps are warmer here so drying was quick. 59 grams on the scale, I'm happy with this amount and with the bud quality, size, smell and smooth taste/flavor when smoked. It was so smooth, I had to smoke 2 joints back to back, in order to get a good taste and smell profile. And munchies!! Whoa man does she make me hungry!

Gelato Auto Week 2 These big girls have had an amazing week doubling in size. Heat has been a little issue with these two but over all they have been OK besides some leafs that have curled and showing a few rust spots on a couple leafs. I upped the water a little to 32oz a day. Over all good growth keeping plenty of air flow. Happy Growing Everyone.

2018-03-13 Week 11 Day 1 As I mentioned last week, the girls are growing like crazy since I changed to 600W HPS,and even though they haven't grown so much higher, they are definetly wider because of LST. My growroom is only about 1.8m2, so now the girls are so wide that there's not enough space for them to get wider, so now I will let them stretch. Nr 1 is 43 cm Nr 2 is 44 cm 2018-03-14 Day 2 I LST'd the girls one last time and also defoliated them mildly so all the tops get as much light as possible, hopefully increasing the yield in the end. I also turn the girls 1/4 lap every day to ensure that all sides of them get as much exposure to light as possible, it would've been great to have some kind of turntable that turns the girls 1 lap in 12 hours,, but until I find out a device that does just that,I'll keep on doing it manually. Added some videos for you to enjoy. 2018-03-18 Day 6 Watering the girls with 2l of plain water (pH 5.8), the soil were dry after 3 days since they got water and nutes. I want to release the remaining dry nutes buried in the soil. Some of the girls got burnt leaves but not from nutes, but from the hps-lamp, they've stretched so much so I raised the lamp about 10 cm, but now I'll keep an eye on the distance between the lamp and canopy, don't want them to get burnt again. June 28 - They are doing great, We switched to the recommended amount of nutrients for flowering, Also 2 air stones I ordered have come in so now those are on 24/7 with the nutrient water in a 5 gallon bucket. June 29 - Still just growing away, I am still feeding roughly 3L per plant of nutrient water every 24-36hr depending on how dry they feel. June 30 - Totally forgot to take pictures/videos today. I gave them there daily watering and they are still just growing away. They are in flower now I believe! July 1 - Awesome to see this amount of progression. Tons of hairs and a decently even canopy. There is a small smell coming from in the room! July 2 - Again I forgot to take pictures, But as always they are still just growing away. so far so good! July 3 - Tons of growth and they are starting to become uneven. I don't have a ton of time so I think I will leave them for another week before doing some LST or HST. Tons of colas forming, lots of hairs and they are starting to have a heavier smell! So far so good! July 4 - Same thing as yesterday, still growing away, Ive turned the lights up to 100% now and I have removed the SF-1000 as I needed it for another project! Beginning of week.. She is doing amazing! Runoff is right where it needs to be.. leaves are looking nice and green with not so much leaf burning on the tips anymore.. new sets of leaves daily! Gonna need to lollipop a bit more. She should produce a decent harvest! So excited to see what she does in flower! So far, I've noticed that she is making some purple striped stiples at the very crown of each (future) cola! So so excited! Need to raise light up a bit.. I think she's getting over 1000 micromols at the center sine she has stretched a bit... Next day.. Whoops.. not sure how the hell she managed to stretch up to 1400+ micromols so quick.. had to raise the light quite a bit and also dim her down just a tad.. now the center is getting exactly 950 micromols in the center and around 650 - 700 micromols around the edges of the tent (footprint). Perfect! I noticed some purpling on a couple of the higher leaves.. these were the leaves getting over 1400 micromols and temps have been another lower than anticipated. So if she starts turning purple this early on, then WOW!.. She should make some pretty colorful colas! Mid week.. She really needs a haircut. She has grown a few nodes on each branch just in the last 7 days or even less. So beautiful! Humidity is being a bitch right now. Up to 70% and my dehumidifier can't even get it to drop a little.. ugh. Cold front blowing through as I type this, so hopefully it'll blow this moisture out by the end of the day. Pistols should be making a crown pretty soon! Still stretching like crazy. She still has plenty of head room for it.. but damn, I really need to get some of these leaves and lower branches out of the way. That should help bring the RH down quite a bit too.. I know she isn't THAT big, but it's still gonna take me awhile to trim her up.. kinda wondering if I could wait till next week and get it all done at once.. cuz I feel like she may need one more with the speed she's been stretching at. Next day... Went ahead and removed ALOT of foliage.. humidity should go down quite a bit.. these leaves give off a very strong skunky scent.. can't wait to see the terp action of this strain! "OoOo.. It’s my second run growing San Fernando Lemon kush, I had to repeat this lemony flavor. Even though I’ve already grow this before, I’m still very excited to grow it. Strain characteristics: This strain is an amazing hybrid between two great genetics. It crosses San Fernando Valley OG Kush which is what brings that lemony zest to the garden coming from the Lemon Thai which is crossed in that mix and then that’s crossed with Kosher Kush. The aroma of this strain is pure limonene it’s quite pleasant and very intense. Hints of wood, cypress, a bit of spices and a solvent scent which combines it all and just smacks you in the nose. The plant is a Indica-Sativa hybrid but it leans to the Sativa side, she’ll stretch on you quickly. This cultivar develops lots of trichomes and has a strong presence of the limonene terpene being ideal for resin extractions, from personal experience I highly recommend making some rosin out of these lovely flowers. Very tasty stuff, I might just set aside one whole plant to press. …getting ahead of myself here, still have a long way to go before I see any buds. Variety SWS62

As I’ve already grown this strain, I know what to expect so I’m hoping things will run smoother. Last time I only topped her and did a bit of LST guiding the colas. That technique was great but she stretched much more than I was expecting which gave me problems but ultimately gave me a good yield which were 82 grams. This tent is taller so I have more space to work with, let’s hope things run smooth and I can improve the quality and yield from last grow. Dropped 4 seeds but only 3 made it. One of the three sprouted 15 days later, while the other two sprouted almost over night.
