Aug 24: starting the sixth week of flowering. I’ve added another Scrog layer mostly to help keep fan leaves out of the way and expose the bud sites. This “loose Scrog” or whatever technique works quite well. She’s fairly leafy but the buds are coming. 👍 defoliated to remove fan leaves that were growing toward centre. Don’t want to overdo it but there needed to be some removed. Aug 25: nice sunny day and had the UV lights going. Took flash pics just before using the 730 nm far red light. Don’t use a flash like this if you don’t have the red light as you might cause it to hermie. But you can get great flash pics. 👍 Aug 26: looking good. Watered with potassium silicate this evening. It’s a strong base and it takes a fair bit of vinegar to get the pH back down to about 6.4. That’s fine though because the microbiota (‘bugs’) will appreciate a serving of easily digested acetate. That’s part of why it’s better to use vinegar than HCl. Chloride would not help but the organic acetic acid does help.

Transplanted to a 5 gallon pot half way through the week and heavily watered/fed for the next 2 days, then topped for the first time at the end of the week. She's doing really well. Now it's about keeping the plants trained and the same height. 2 timelapses this week. Enjoy!

Día 23 (12/11) Subo a DLI 40 Pequeños ajustes de LST en las ramas laterales a CBD Auto 20:1 #2 para crear una estructura homogenea No voy a volver a aplicar LST a la punta, voy a dejar que crezca de forma "natural" a partir de ahora El resto de plantas están creciendo muy bien! Riego con 750 ml H2O RO a CBD Auto 20:1 #2. El resto no necesitan riego Día 24 (13/11) Riego todas las plantas con 750 ml H2O RO CBD Auto 20:1 #2 se muestra sedienta y vuelve a necesitar 750 ml de H20 RO tras solo 24 horas desde el último riego! Día 25 (14/11) Pequeños ajustes de LST en CBD Auto 20:1 #2 Parece que los puntos / zonas marrones se aceleran en todas las plantas excepto en CBD Auto 20:1 #1... Día 26 (15/11) LSD-25 Auto & OG Kush Auto empiezan a mostrar muchas zonas marrones y las hojas inferiores se empiezan a retorcer... Día 27 (16/11) Riego con 1 litro de H2O RO El area técnica de BioTabs me confirma que lo que muestra las plantas es una quema de nutrientes... 😢 Su recomendación es regar SÓLO con agua la siguiente semana (hasta el día 35 por lo menos) Día 28 (17/11) LSD-25 Auto & OG Kush Auto se muestran muy afectadas por la quema de nutrientes... Una pena porque estaban creciendo muy bien hasta ahora... Después de hablar con BioTabs, parece que el error ha sido aplicar el Boom Boom Spray demasiado temprano (en día 21) cuando las plantas tenían suficiente nutrientes y acababa de añadir la 2ª (y ultima) Tab al sustrato... Tengo que seguir aprendiendo que con el SuperSoil: MENOS ES MÁS, MENOS ES MÁS! A seguir regando SOLO con agua los próximos días... Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. She smell really good of cherry and fruits. She dont have soo much trichomes but I love the structure while she was growing... A productive one too. The only 2 are starting making orange hair.

Beginning of week... This plant has been growing for over a month now. I didnt expect it to come out this amazing.. So now I am creating the grow diary lol. I flipped it to 12/12 this week. She was just going to be LST'd but the top had broke off while making adjustments to the LST one day earlier on.. Damnit.. She's still gonna make some dank ass nugs tho! After 3 - 4 days of 12/12 she has already begun her stretching! End of week... She has stretched some this week.. Not very much in my opinion.. But some for sure.. Not many pistils yet.. Some but no nugs building yet. When you cruch the leaves you have defoliated from this girl.. They have a more danky smell.. Its crazy.. Different than other strains I have grown.. I didnt expect leaves to carry different smells also!
