A good week overall! Started out a bit rough, as I noticed some yellowing on the oldest leaves. Unclear exactly what the issue is/was. I'm using soil with organic fertilizers, so over-nutrient seems unlikely to me (very little readily available nutrients, all slow-release, only two waterings up to that point). But some folks on different forums think it may be nutrient burn. Alternatively, it could just be lack of light on these leaves (they are very shaded) and touching the soil. Regardless, while researching I noticed that my humidity was way down, hovering nearing 35%. The tent is in a dehumidified basement so this makes sense. Based on VPD charts this seemed non-ideal for the plant, so I added a small humidifier and a RH PID controller. Humidity stays around 55-60% now, which is a nice compromise between keeping humidity up in the tent and not fihgting the basement dehumidifier too much. I also drilled some holes in the container to help air out the soil faster... a DIY janky airpot :) Throughout the rest of the week, LST ties were adjusted and heavily obscured leaves were pruned off. I also started pruning off bud sites that were pointing downwards, in an effort to reduce clutter and wasted resources. All in all, she's looking pretty good. I'll probably flip in the next week or so. I would love to give it some more time to veg, but have a schedule I need to keep later this fall. This strain supposedly flowers in 6-7 weeks, so we'll see :)

This clone is growing good. She is showing mutations in the leaves plus growing like she is still flowering kinda. I think my nutrition is a pinch strong. That probably is not helping much. Gonna ride it out, and see what happens. Somewhat slacking with detailed photos from this week, been busy with the holidays/ family etc. hopefully should have a little more time to take some good ones for next week.. Not much to say, they are getting quite big! some more lower branches and leaves were removed and I've been watering every other day, about .5-.75 gal per plant until I see some run off and the top looks evenly moist. End of week 1 of flower and there are Lots of white pistils, a pleasant smell (controlled by my filter/vent) and some major stretching happening on the strongest branches. Already raised the light by a few inches twice now too keep the distance over 12 inches from these stretchy ones! 😏 Also found a large healthy looking seed in my grinder that I've saved (Mac 1 supposedly, its good smoke)

Die Luftfeuchtigkeit ist jetzt ca. bei 40-45 % 💧 Die ersten Anzeichen der Vorblüte kamen gegen Ende der letzten Woche zum Vorschein. Die Vegetationsphase ist somit beendet, nun beginnt der Stretch und die Blütenbildung.🌱🍁 Deshalb beginne ich ab diese Woche mit dem Blütedünger. Vodoo Juice soll weiter die Wurzeln stärken während sie in die Höhe schiesst. Es bleibt nicht viel Zeit bei Autos.👀🌲

Recovering just fine from the crash! I have another of exactly the same seed, critical +2.0, in a pot next to it (but a 20L pot) and they are currently the same size/doing as well as each other. Because the can is quite long I add a small amount of water from the top and also dip the can into the water to feed from below. At the bottom of the can I made around 15 small holes across the base, and there are stones covering perhaps the bottom 1.5cm of the can to further promote drainage. No ferts yet!

Getting really bushy about 18 inches tall going in this week might be the last week of veg if they keep growing how they are. These girls are getting wide as hell. Will move one of them over to avoid over crowding in the middle next change out of nutrients. They're appetite is getting big

Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.

Buds are getting bigger and frosty. Still full strength on the bloom nutrients.

Welcome growfessors to the harvest of Mandarin dreams! These 5 ladies got chopped down this week, the three pheno 1 strains have nice dense buds, very sticky! One pheno 2 is very fluffy, airy buds and the other pheno 2, is someplace in between, not rock hard, but close to it. Last time I'll be growing this strain, she was easy to grow, but not a smoke I enjoy, the indica hits harder as the buds cure and I'm not that interested in couch lock. Will update in 7-10 days with dry weight.

This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.
