Ginger Nut cookies & Aussie music Videos Grow Diary update 27th Feb 2020 The preflowering Stretch has well and truly begun with every branch that wasn't tied down , shooting upwards a few inches. The plant itself looks very healthy and content. Once flowering starts I'll begin to add P+K to the feeding regime. We have had bugger all sunlight here for over a week and also we have had lots of rain and wind. Daily max temps have been around the 24-25 celcius range and the minimums around 15 c. RH has been high 67% on average. That is about it for this weeks plant update . Now for the weekly Music videos. ** Last week I posted the links to three different artists who were picked by fellow growers thru the Grow question that I posted asking for requests. ** This week is back to just the one featured Artist from Australia. This week's artist is Mr Paul Kelly who is an Australian rock music singer-songwriter and guitarist. He has performed solo, and has led numerous groups, including the Dots, the Coloured Girls, and the Messengers. He has worked with many other artists and groups and is considered one of the finest singer songwriters to have come from Australia. Once again I couldn't narrow it down to just one song as he's had many great tunes but I have chosen the two with the best Music video as that is the main criteria for my Diaries Theme. In this week, one of the "anonymous" seeds germinated (2nd attempt) and started growing, so I felt confident, that the 4th plant was finally here and not too far behind.

Dec 28 - Both plants are close to harvest. Had 5.5. hours of darkness after 24 hr period to prevent budrot developing. Also moved plants inside tent moreso, and closer to fans. Dec 28 - Watered healthy plant today at 2PM - I'll chop unhealthy plant tomorrow, so didn't water, instead inspected trichomes. Dec 28 - Unhealthy Plant is showing amber trichomes, but also clear - Unsure if I should chop tomorrow or not. Dec 29 - DAY 73 - CHOPPED - Trimmed larger fan leaves (accidentally trimmed a sugar leaf or two) and harvested to dry whole, upside down. I'm hoping for a half ounce per plant. Dec 19 - 11.50PM Trichome Calyx' were observed, there are new calyx' appearing. Calyx' are swelling. Dec 30 - Plant developing more senescence and calyx are swelling. Dec 30 - Trichomes are still clear, but I'm seeing some PM develop so I think I'll chop tomorrow morning. Dec 31 - Nice Senescence occurring, Happy to have left it this last day. Accidentally left temps up to 78F for a half hour. Dec 31 - Decided to push another week as per feedback from GD member. When watering I noticed she was perky after 3 days w. no water. Interesting and likely the frequency I'll continue watering at. Dec 31 - Watered at 9PM. Jan 1 - Removed small fan leaf with signs of PM at the base. This defoliation should help with airflow. Checked newly formed calyx' and they're clear enough not to document. Jan 2 - Buds are developing nicely, calyxes are noticably swelling nicely too. I see some green pistils appearing in the lowest buds. Clear Trichomes. Jan 3 - Watered at 8AM. Woke up to 90F temp. Unfortunately they'd been cooking for about an hour. Jan 3 - DRYING UPDATE - I'm seeing fluctuations in the drying room between RH 49% and 70%. As of 3.10PM @ 61RH after adding jars of water. I want to maintain this RH. Jan 3 - Senesence looking good, calyx' are continuing to swell. Will inspect trichomes tomorrow at latest.

Harvested Around 220 Grams from 3 Plants, terps were there slightly, smoked fine, its alright, went with a differnent breeder after.

It's here, Week 5 Day 39 from seed. Busy this week but we have officially started flowering boys and girls! Week 6 updates will be more in detail. See ya soon!

This week marks the 10th and likely final week of my autoflower grow. The buds have really filled out and are covered in a thick layer of trichomes. Most pistils have turned orange/brown, and the plant is giving off a strong, pungent aroma. Under close inspection, the trichomes are mostly cloudy with some beginning to turn amber – a clear sign she’s nearly ready for harvest. The fan leaves have started fading and curling slightly, especially lower down, which is to be expected at this stage. I stopped feeding nutrients around a week ago and have been flushing with just water to clean out any remaining salts. She’s still drinking well and hasn’t shown any major stress signs. Overall, I’m really happy with how this run turned out. She stayed compact, didn’t stretch too much, and produced some dense, frosty buds. I’ll probably gave her 2–3 more days before the chop – just to let a few more amber trichomes develop for that nice relaxing effect So i cutet her 2 days later because of the to high humidity , because i dont want bud

Not an awful week, not great though. I seem to have developed a fungus gnat issue, albeit small as of yet I'm taking appropriate measures to get rid of them. First I drenched all the pots with a 1:4 peroxide:water mixture(1l total liquid) and let the soil dry out over a few days(it was already fairly dry). Once that dried I added nematodes to each pot. I've given the nematodes 4 days so far and I'm adding defender mites(stratiolaelaps scimitus) to the soil tomorrow. I have yellow traps everywhere as well. I'm also getting rid of my wood chips(most of them) for the rest of this grow for a faster drying time on my soil. I'm really happy how the freak has been turning out. I'm super excited to try it! I have been slightly bending and picking leaves off the original 3. The mazar that I had to start late has not been topped. I believe I am going to use this one for making my feminized seeds so I am trying to stress it the least amount possible. I am top feeding and have noticed a small amount of fungus gnats so i added a bit of diatomaceous earth to the top soil which seems to kill them instantaneously. Have not seen any since. Next week I will be putting together a DIY colloidal silver generator for the fem seeds.

✂️ Harvest complete! 🌿 After weeks of care and attention, the plant has been cut down, dried for 14 days under controlled conditions, and I’ve now officially started the curing process in jars 🌬️💨 The aroma is promising, the buds are dense and sticky… I can’t wait to see (and smell) the final result! 😍 One cycle ends, but the satisfaction it brings is lasting 💚
